myfs_133600
My new loft window faces East (I am kua #9 female). The street is half lofts, half warehouse buildings. There is a factory smokestack that can be seen down about 2 blocks over that emits smoke on weekdays up into the air. What types of remedy do you suggest for this? Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 22, 2009 Staff Share Posted September 22, 2009 1. As the saying goes: "location, location, location".2. Frankly, many of us can only "so called pathe our home with gold" but when we look out of our four walls; we simply cannot change what is out there!Jolie Q. wrote:My new loft window faces East (I am kua #9 female). Here, one has to appy commonsense approach. But sometimes commonsense may still be not good enough:4. If due to the nature of the surrounding buildings; hopefully, the smoke from this smokestack don't directly blow towards your loft. But we are unable to control nature and how, it moves "air". 5. If you do work at home (in the loft) and find smoke coming in most of the time, then; see if you can close the windows or relocate hopefully to a location with (if possible) less influence of the smoke.6. It is not like you can dial: 1800-OSAMA BIN LADEN and get his croonies to help demolish the smokestack for you.7. Feng Shui is no miracle cure: especially since one has no control over one's external environment (FULL STOP)
