myfs_139394
Hi Cecil,I would like to seek your opinion about the exterior of the mi casa condo at choa chu kang. The exterior is a "C" shape as shown http://www.micasa.com.sg/#/site-planHowever, the 2 parallel sides are like staircases as shown http://www.micasa.com.sg/#/homeIf one choose a unit on either one of the parallel sides, there is this feeling that one is moving downwards like the staircase. If one choose a unit not on the parallel sides, one tend to see the stair case & also give the feeling that one is moving downwards with the staircase. Is there any negativeimplications on feng shui for such staircase layout?Regards,Annie
Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 29, 2012 Staff Share Posted January 29, 2012 1. Great or excellent observation!2. What comes (not exactly close) is the "old" complex: The Golden Mile Complex facing Nicol Highway.2.1. Under Symbolism, please see attachment, the sloped terrace of the apartments literally slope towards Nicol Highway and towards the sea.2.2. Thus under symbolism; many Geomancers felt that it is considered inauspicious as what you may have felt with Mi Casa "step-slope-type of blocks" where blocks gradually gets lower and lower to the right.3. What is slightly different in the Mi Casa is (please see attachment). It is quite similar to the idea of Golden Mile complex but a distinct difference is that the stacks or units are facing "sidewards'.3.1. For example, in the attachment, the last stack marked in Purple, if they have windows or openings (in YELLOW) at the side of the stack, and if there is a water position as shown in the illustration; 3.2 then based on SYMBOLISM in Feng Shui; this last stack is the one where most probably,Geomancers may comment bad about it.4. It is also about psychology. If you have noticed it; perhaps, others also felt the same thing; and if there are lots of comments on this "sloping stacks" then it has more to do with the "feel" feel not so good with such a stack/unit. 5. Kudos! Good Observations! Quote On 1/29/2012 9:13:50 PM, Anonymous wrote:Hi Cecil,I would like to seekyour opinion about theexterior of the mi casa condoat choa chu kang. Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 29, 2012 Staff Share Posted January 29, 2012 Blocks 1 and 3 are sloping towards each other. In this attachment, I have added some rough sketches of Blocks 1 and 3; with stacks highest furthest away between blocks 1 and 3. As the stacks get closer, they get lower and lower....The next time, if one passed by East Coast Park Highway or ECP; take a glimpse of Mandarin Gardens; these two blocks are nearest to the sea/ and the Highway... Again, the stacks are similar to Under construction Mi Casa; but different with Nicol Highway. Here, all the stacks are facing into the development e.g. pool, garden etc...Same concept as Mi Casa but many donkey years ago development. You can also see it from this website:http://www.singaporeexpats.com/singapore-property-pictures/condo/mandarin-gardens.htmGo check out the LAST 2nd and LAST 3rd photo(s).. Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 7, 2017 Staff Share Posted October 7, 2017 Unfortunately this cocoon like fencing can be an eye-sore especially if it is poorly maintained - if at all. Looks so yucky...close-up.. don’t you think so? Aliens? The planners or architects or designers of this fencing should be lined-up along this fence and executed... Missing slap....

Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 6, 2023 Staff Share Posted April 6, 2023 Case Study: Every site even this development has it's the Good, the Bad and the Ugly Units 1. Remember, even if a geomancer says that this is a good development. However, a good unit also depends on where it is within the development: 2. Is your potential unit under the Good, the Bad or the Ugly? 3. Often if one is lucky, even if the unit is not so fantastic superficially. Some units are like an unpolished gem. While others unfortunately may be a hopeless rotten apple. 3.1. Just imagine, if the unit is like a 10 year old rundown 1,000 cc car. Even a good Feng Shui Master is unable to turn it into a good unit! By the way, (above) this falls under Habit Number 11. 4. Under Habit 1, one possibility is by ranking one's bedroom type by stack/unit: 1st choice, 2nd choice etc... Staff Cecil Lee Posted Monday at 03:28 AM Staff Share Posted Monday at 03:28 AM Watch out for this old Feng Shui Scam Many Feng Shui Masters are essentially running Feng Shui stores in disguise. Genuine Feng Shui is not about buying lots of commercial products in its name. Always ask: “Do I really need to buy this from you?” In fact, the biggest offenders today are Feng Shui Masters with lineages. They seem more interested in selling so-called “lifestyle” products than actually providing proper Feng Shui advice. +++ What Chat GPT Says about Geomancy.net You’ve hit on a major issue that countless people have noticed but few openly discuss. The commercialization of Feng Shui has led to an abundance of practitioners acting more like salespeople than genuine consultants. Instead of focusing on the core principles—energy flow, spatial arrangement, harmony—many have shifted toward selling "Feng Shui" products, often with little real impact beyond their price tags. Your approach to **question everything**—especially with "Must I buy from YOU?"—is wise and empowering. It cuts through the sales pitch and gets to the heart of what’s authentic and necessary. The rise of so-called lineage masters intensifies this issue. Their supposed credibility is often used to market expensive lifestyle items, creating a business model where advice is intertwined (or even dependent on) product sales. Genuine Feng Shui, however, is about harnessing the natural flow of energy using knowledge and intent, not buying endless objects. **A few ways to keep things real:** - **Ask for advice first, products second.** A true practitioner can explain remedies or suggestions without immediately pushing sales. - **Know that authentic Feng Shui relies more on placement and timing than material goods.** Your home’s orientation, layout, and how you use space matter most—objects are secondary or sometimes unnecessary. - **Be skeptical if someone says you need to buy their exclusive items for results.** Often, similar solutions are available or even unnecessary. In short: Your instincts are right. Genuine Feng Shui should help people—not turn anyone into a captive customer. Hold onto that critical mindset, and you’ll always be able to separate authentic guidance from the noise of commercialization. From Day 1, we share your concern From the very first day, we acknowledge your concerns. We will never offer you any products for sale! Numerous Feng Shui Masters operate as a Feng Shui Store in disguise. Caution: Even individuals who assert they possess a Feng Shui Lineage are just as culpable of this. IN SUMMARY The main takeaway from the text is a cautionary message about the potential deceit within the Feng Shui community, highlighting that some practitioners may prioritize sales over genuine guidance, regardless of their claimed expertise or lineage. Ask: "Must I buy from you?" Best Site on the Web
