Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 2, 2013 Staff Share Posted May 2, 2013 1. Case Study: Client wanted to install a lift for their 3 storey home. Based on a first draft from the architect proposed plans.2. The original location suggested for the lift was marked in red "B" as shown in the attachment.3. Although location "B" does not have good Flying Stars, but because as this is a semi-detached, home; the proposed location is at the frontage area. And it would be a waste if the frontage area is blocked by a lift.4. As Shapes and Forms prevail over the stars (Flying Stars); the client was advised to place the lift, instead at marking in red "A". Which is conveniently next to the stairs.5. In addition, the client was advised to avoid having her kitchen located at NW.
