Noobie in FS
Dear Master, Would like to seek your opinion if the unit marked in black is affected by Tian Zhan Sha. Not familiar with these but seems like when I stand from bedrooms/ living room, the slit is quite prominent. Thank you.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 19, 2020 Staff Share Posted October 19, 2020 What is a 天斩煞 (tiān zhǎn shà.) ? Some consider the red arrow as an axe or blade aimed towards unit marked in RED.. The following example where unit at X is affected by it. The reason why it is is because the distance of the two blocks in YELLOW is in close proximity of BLOCK in GREEN and with a unit X. The unit you mentioned in black can also be affected if the wind blows from a South-Southwesterly direction towards North-NE direction. And only if the wind is very strong. Otherwise, if the above condition is not met, the unit NORMALLY should not be affect by it. It also depends on the height of the unit in black. As the closer to the roof top of MSCP block 308C the greater the concern. Thus if assuming the MSCP is 4 storeys high and without landscaping, a unit perhaps such as #05 or #06 may be having the greatest Sha Qi if prevailing winds are strong. A simple test is: to hold up an umbrella. If the umbrella seems to tilt and pull away from one's hands.. then best to control the wind into the unit. E.g. by reducing the openings e.g. casement window(s) and or closing the sliding glass panels. If this were to be at SE of Singapore e.g. Marine Parade, then it can be a great concern. Given that the windows at this area blows strongly between North to South and/or South to North depending the time of day. Due to the high and low pressure between the sea and land in that area. Noobie in FS
Thanks Master for your reply. The MSCP roof is landscaped but mostly hardscape. From time to time I could feel the wind because I usually will open the window wide to ventilate my unit. Is this now not a good idea? I would like to add that I’m not putting up curtains. Hence should I be putting something else to circumvent this?

I would like to add that I’m not putting up curtains. Hence should I be putting something else to circumvent this? At first quick glance, I was just looking at your circled area of Block 320B and 310C and felt that the distance could have of a lesser impact of 天斩煞 (tiān zhǎn shà). But now when I looked at it closely, I realise that a contributing factor is also a continuity of Blocks 308B and 309A which forces the air-flow as shown like a "tunnel".... From a Feng Shui perspective, imagine a house on a top or tip of a hill. Such a house is not (contrary to beliefs) should in fact have some shield in the form of trees to control strong winds or sha qi. Hopefully part of the sha qi can be vented out towards the left as shown by the many blue "Xs":- As I mentioned. A good way of illustrating this is if one were to hold up an umbrella. And if the umbrella has a "life of it's own" and starts to slant and tries to pry off our hands, then such a wind (strong wind) is not ideal. As it can affect, health & wealth and overall luck. Unfortunately, if the winds are always strong, although this example of Duo Office Tower is not identical to this Tian Zhan Sha, but it shows the impact of such Sha Qi even if WINDOWS are closed (as for an office building which never ever has windows .. if any )
Noobie in FS
Hi Master, yes, I would try to do the umbrella test recommended. I have also attached the photos of the master bedroom, common bedroom and living room which could show the gap between buildings for your reference. No need to literally use a real umbrella. As one can literally feel the gust of wind (if any). Best of Luck!
Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 20, 2020 Staff Share Posted October 20, 2020 In Singapore, at SE, South and central of the island, often high and Low pressure zones switch roughly around the North to South and South to North. In this vein, Tian Zhan Sha can occur with stacks/ units at the pointed end of the red arrow(s):-
Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 27, 2020 Staff Share Posted October 27, 2020 In this example, seems like... behind this gap, there is another block. Thus fortunately this unit is not affected by Tian Zhan Sha:- This side of the unit also is blocked by houses. So there is no straight Tian Zhan Sha gap. In conclusion, this house is not affected by Tian Zhan Sha

Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 6 Staff Share Posted February 6 BEWARE OF THIS AGE-OLD FENG SHUI SCAM No wonder, Feng Shui suffers from a bad reputation, today Many Feng Shui Masters are a Feng Shui Store. Their core business is not authentic Feng Shui. But rather making big bucks by selling lots of useless commercial products in the name of Feng Shui. Please give me a good reason not to buy such products. Here's one: Okay, the above was written prior to the knowledge of COV-19. Here’s to another reason, why. Many Feng Shui Masters and their shops are FAKES! On Saturday, 14 March 2020, a WhatsApp from a past client P.S. Frankly, I was just being extremely polite. Actually if one got the hint, as the British always say just throw the "bloody" thing away! ASK! MUST I BUY FROM YOU? When the buying Stops! The selling Can! Yes! Ask: "Must I buy from YOU?"
