Does Feng Shui "Rule" apply to Rental property?

Dear Cecil,

This house that I'm very interested in buying as a rental property, is in a great location and the price is right.  What has been keeping me from making an offer is that this house faces North which is my "Disaster" direction.  I'm also a Strong Water.  I would never buy a North facing house to live in, but will I get BAD luck if I buy it to rent out to other people?

Chinese Holy Trinity of Luck:

1. Heaven Luck or a person's ba zi.
2. Earth Luck or Feng Shui of time spent at a place such as in a home or work environment.
3. Human or Man Luck or of relationships with others.

Earth luck cannot be done under "remote" control. Thus if one does not spent time or for a home stay there, technically, it will not affect an owner if say, they bought it just for investment(s). Only the residents e.g. tenants staying there can be affected or alternatively benefit from it.

If you don't stay there, you will not be affected by the Feng Shui of that place
