Car Colour : I am looking for a used car. Supposedly black would be my preference but it has been sold out and I am left with one in red colour which fits my bill.

Hi Master Cecil,

I am looking for a used car.

Supposedly black would be my preference but it has been sold out and I am left with one in red colour which fits my bill.

But based on my ba zi report, red is my unfavourable wealth element.

Should I not proceed with the purchase?
I attach herewith some snippets of my bazi report.
Your advice and help would be very much appreciated

Thanks.

Hi Alex,

1. Ideally, your most favorable colors would be Metal (white or gold) or Water (blue, black, or grey). Whether Metal or Water is more suitable for you depends on your own five-element percentage breakdown.

2. Fire (red) represents your wealth element. However, as a person with weak Water, you may not have enough strength to control or benefit fully from Fire’s energy. If your five-element breakdown shows that you have less than 20% Fire, then adding some Fire can still be beneficial for you.

If you can strengthen the Metal and Water elements in other areas of your life—such as living in a suitable house, choosing the right career, or working in an industry that matches these elements—then using red can still be fine. Fire remains your wealth element, but you need to be strong enough to manage it. Otherwise, it may not benefit you as much, which is why Fire is generally considered less favorable for someone with weak Water.

Warmest Regards
Robert Lee

Hi Master Robert

Thanks for the reply. However, under the five Element report, I could not find the break down percentage of each Elements. From your reply, I understand red May not hold any benefit, but will it cause effects detrimental to my overall luck? Thanks

The exact five-element percentage breakdown is not provided in the free Ba Zi report. This detailed information is only available in the premium report, which helps you fine-tune the elements you may need more of to balance your overall luck.

Such as in this ba zi expert review report under the Breakdown of Five Elements Percentage section:-

As a wealth element, Fire is generally considered unfavorable for someone with weak Water. To improve balance in your chart, it is important to strengthen your weak Water by incorporating more Metal or Water elements from different areas of your life.

By default, Fire also destroys Metal, which is essential for supporting and strengthening your weak Water. Therefore, Fire is generally not beneficial for you unless its percentage is low—ideally, below 20%. Then adding Fire may still be good for overall balance.

Without knowing your precise five-element percentages, it is difficult to determine whether adding Fire will have a negative impact. The key factor is whether the Fire element is excessive—typically, if it exceeds 40–50%, it can become problematic. In such cases, it is not advisable to focus on Fire, as this would require even more Metal or Water to restore balance.

For individuals with weak Water, the best approach is to prioritize strengthening Metal or Water elements first. This helps you build a solid foundation, so that when Fire elements appear in your luck periods or other aspects of your life, you’ll be in a stronger position to manage, control, and make the most of potential wealth opportunities.
