Bathroom near front door?

HI!
I would like to know how significant a bathroom is near a front door? What if the front door opens in a way where the bathroom can not be seen when first entering? The bathroom door is left closed or the front door opens in a way that blocks the view of the bathroom when entering? If I have a bathroom near my front door why is it so bad and what should I do? What if I do not have a bathroom near my main entrance door, but I enter through my garage door and there is a bathroom is in front of the garage door entrance? Is this bad as well? Please explain. Thanks for all your help! I am trying to understand why this is so bad and what I can do if I have this present in my home.

Dear Rochi,
1. In general, the main entrance door of a house is considered the `mouth' of the house where `qi' enters it.
2. Thus, the main entrance is considered important.
3. The `worry' here is that since the main entrance is suppose to be the `mouth' of the house, a toilet, next to it may inadvertenly, bring in bad qi especially coming from the `toilet'.
4. As you mentioned, if the wall surrounding the toilet is a `solid' wall, there may not be such an effect.
The other reason can be looked at e.g. where the toilet area is just above the main entrance door. Here, one day the pumbing (if it is directly above the main entrance) may leak. "Someone coming into the house may be received by the leak.".
5. The same goes for a leak which may or may not occur, if water seeps from the `solid' area to the wall of the front entrance area.
The above are the considerations, for a toilet next to the main entrance.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
