Bad Luck from new house

Dear Cecil,
I am a novice to Feng Shui and come to know about it only after we have shifted to our new home.
My Husband and I both are Gua 8 (NE house). My husband is a Weak Water person and myself is a Strong Earth.
We did not consider the effect of Feng Shui when we purchase this new house. Our new house is SE house ie. main door is SE from the center of the house. The death line does not pass through the main door but via the same wall as the main door. Is keeping the area clear and bright sufficient? What else can I do?
I also did a flying star analysis on the new house. In particular, a few sectors are "dangerous".
1. North is BedRoom 2. 4-M 2-W 3-B 5-Y
This was my daughter's room. But I have shifted her to another room after the analysis.
Metal will cure the 2 & 3 star and hopefully the evil yearly star 5.
Can I use 6 coins in an envelope? In drawer or on the shelf? Paint in white? Or Leave it vacant?
2. East is Living Room. 6-M 4-W 5-B 7-Y
Weak Metal cures Weak Wood. Only need Wood or Water to cure star 5? Or Metal should be used? Which is the best? Can Clock with a metal pendulum be used?
3. SouthEast is part of Living Room too. 7-M 5-W 6-M 8-Y
Strong earth "give birth" to Strong Metal and no additional cure is needed. But Strong Metal crashes with Weak Metal. What can I do?
4. South is our kitchen. 3-M 1-W 2-B 4-Y.
Again I need metal cure.
NorthWest is our bedroom. 9-M 7-W 8-B 1-yearly. This is our auspicious area for Gua 8.
But a small fire has broken out in my Husband's office after we have shifted.
Can this due to the pink colour we have painted? Should I paint in blue instead?
I really could not sleep well after all these Feng Shui analysis and I certainly hope that you can enlighten me. Please
Thank you for your patience to finish reading this long-winded mail.

Dear Jolene,
1. I believe, Feng Shui is a holistic approach encompassing various Feng Shui techniques.
2. Under the Flying Star, it is good to make an effort to neutralise any imbalances which you are trying to do.
If you have a sketch of your layout plan (and outline of items e.g. the bed, tables) and with the information you provided me below, I can assist to look at and mark the location and provide some comments.
I believe, a layout with what you had provided would greatly assist and would be a valuable help.
If you can, do sent an attachment to this file.
But if it is too much to ask, then let me know, I can go thru the info below.
Awaiting your comments.
Regards,
Cecil

Usually, the best cure is to hang 6 chinese coins with a red tread above this position. It is not as advisable to place the 6 coins in a drawer or envelope.
You do not need to paint white. But leaving it vacant does not neutralise the bad 2 and 3 stars / star 5.

Yes a clock with a metal pendulum is one good alternative replacement for the 6 coins due to the constant `metal' sound it makes.

For this position, you can leave it i.e. no cure is needed.

The best alternative is still the 6 metal coins as mentioned above.

Generally, under period 7, no. 7 is neutral. You can leave it not necessary to repaint it blue.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

Dear Elena,
When I have the time, will try to take some pictures.
Generally, a good reference is a standing grandfather clock especially those with brass `tick-tock' metal pendulums will do nicely.
Alternatively there are some hanging pendulum clocks. Here, try to get those with a `metal' weight pendulum.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

Hello Cecil: Would you be able
to post a picture of the type
of clock acceptable as a metal
cure? Thank you!
