myfs_79343
Hi Cecil,I need your advise on whether ceremic tiles that looks like parquet of cream color is consider wood or earth element. These new tiles really have the look of wood grains though is made of ceremic. If in the case that it is consider more of wood element, I heard it is better not to lay the entire living hall with wood element. Is it true? Our living hall is in the covers south and SE sector. Is there any relation to my weak earth and my husband weak water when deciding? Many thanks.Regards,Serene
Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 30, 2002 Staff Share Posted May 30, 2002 Dear Serene,From my past experience, floor tiles even if they are fully wooden (laminate) tiles are no issue in Feng Shui. As should be related more to yin or yang concept. So long as you are using light coloured tiles should be good enough. But tiles especially black with white tiles for the entire house may not be auspicious (even more so if it is all black tiles). This is evident especially if the Shapes and Form Feng Shui e.g. external environment is particularly bad i.e. not good Shapes and Form. This has a pulling power to bring down the Feng Shui of the entire house.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 5/30/2002 6:21:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:Hi Cecil,I need your advise on whetherceremic tiles that looks likeparquet of cream color isconsider wood or earthelement. Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 30, 2002 Staff Share Posted May 30, 2002 Further to what I had mentioned earlier, I do not favour floor tiles for the entire house with the checked design (sample shown attached) nor floor tiles entirely black in colour especially for the entire living room area.Warmest Regards,Cecil
