myfs_105385
Dear Master Cecil Lee:First Iwant to thank you forhaving such a wonderful and informativewebsite. All the free learning resourcesand forumsare extremely helpfulto anovice like me. I'm new to geomancy andhave researched your responses to the readers as much as I can, but still can't find the answer to my question. I live in a townhouse, which faces SW1 (if I stand in front of the house with a compass in my hand). From the center of the house to the front door, it's SE3. I'm an East person with SE as my excellent direction and SW as my spook direction. So if I want to run a flying star report on my townhouse, which direction should I choose, SE or SW as the main door? This townhouse was built in 1983, but in 2001, we had the whole roof replaced, the outside of the house repainted. In 2000, we replaced the linoleum in the kitchen and the bathrooms with tiles. In 2002, we replaced the carpet in the dining room and the hallways with tiles. So is this townhouse a period 6 or period 7 house? With great respect,A.C.

You should use SW1. This townhouse was built in1983, but in 2001, we had thewhole roof replaced, theoutside of the houserepainted. So is thistownhouse a period 6 or period7 house? When you totally replace the roof of your Period 6 home, in 2001, your home should have flown to Period 7 - flying star Feng Shui. In your case, actually, there is no harm to try and work on both Period6 and Period 7 Flying star Feng Shui. Since you have stayed in your home for quite sometime, you can take the opportunity to see which chart (P7 or P6) that is a better match to your home. The above method of doing two charts is in my opinion, a practical and sound practise amongst good Feng Shui practitioners and equally applies to everyone keen to understand their home birth chart. Warmest Regards,Cecil
