Personally, I usually do not recommend changing your name unless absolutely necessary. This is because the effort and hassle involved can often outweigh the benefits, especially if the new name is unlikely to bring significantly better luck.

For a name change to be truly effective, it’s important that as many people as possible—especially friends and family—know about it and start using your new name. If people continue to call you by your old name, you won’t be able to fully benefit from the change. This is the most important point: if your new name isn’t used regularly, you won’t gain the advantages you’re hoping for.

Additionally, you will need to legally update all your documents to reflect your new name.
