Dear Hoa Luong,

In general, under this current period: Period 9, #9 is the future prosperity star number. Thus, wealth derived from this star #9 is NOT current but is known as future wealth luck.

It is imperative that each # should not be looked at in isolation!

For example:-

EXAMPLE 1:-

If Mountain star is #4; while water star is #9, this is a good combination as Mountain star #4 (wood) supports water star #9 (fire) i.e. wood fuels fire. Thus, this sector is considered to have some future wealth luck, here.

EXAMPLE 2:-

If, however the mountain star is #5 (bad earth) or #2 (bad earth), this is no good as Water star #9 fuels earth and further inflame #5 or #2 making or increasing misfortune/sickness within this sector. Here, usually metal cure is required to neutralise this sector.

Therefore, the clue here is that even if a sector is known as WS, it does not literally mean that water would drown #9 from the first example (example 1) above.

Again, a firm foundation of the Five element concept is required to fully grasp the concept.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil

Dear Cecil:

Thank you very much for your quick response.

My understanding is to activate a water star, I can place a water feature like a water fountainat that location (that has the water star). For example, my front door has ms6, ws 8. To activate ws 8,I am placing a water fountain outside of the front door. However, if I have a ws 9, I cannot place a water fountain to activate ws 9 because it will drown my future prosperity. So my question is how do I activate ws9 if I cannot place a water feature at that location which has ws9? Should I place a big tree instead?

Thank you very much for your advice.

Dear Hoa Luong,

Please refer to my earlier forum message which I clearly stated that a WS#9 is not the same as WS#8.

In many of the forum messages a WS#8 = current prosperity and water should be activated here.

Please check my previous message where I mentioned that WS#9 is best associated with Wood element.

Thus it would be reasonable to place a plant at that sector to enhance the future prosperity. As to whether the plant is medium sized or large it has to go with the location where one wants to place it. And it is for your own judgement to do so. If the location can support a large tree and looks reasonable then go ahead. But if as a result of the big tree, for example especially mango tree, it has a large "foot-print" of leaves and may leave a location too dark. Only perhaps Tarzan would enjoy it or just maybe Jane may divorce Tarzan because it became too dark. No one knows.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
