Dear Oliv,

1. I must emphasie that the Flying Star concept uses the Five elements concept.

2. Between the "cures" related to the Productive cycle or "cures" based on the Destructive cycle, one should always try to use "cures" relating to the Productive cycle, first.

3. Again, I refer to the 5 elements cycle under this link:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-5element.htm

4. Based on the subsitution model which I had just recently postulated:-

The productive cycle:-

Metal -

Quote
Water -
Wood

Thus both 7 and 6 are metal element, where 3 is wood element.

Thus: 7 & 6 - Water -
3

Thus under the harmonious cycle, the remedy is to use water to breach the gap of Metal to Wood.

Adding Fire as a cure is not productive since under the destructive cycle fire destroy metal. Since we have a good #6 strong metal, overall based on the three #'s that you had mentioned, water element is the best cure, here.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil

Thank you SO much Master Lee. This has been a very confusing area for me during the 3 years I have studied tradtional Chinese feng shui. No one, until you, has explained the process of choosing a remedy (first Productive then Destructive). It is such a simple and basic point, yet if a student is not aware of it, it becomes quite a large issue. Once again THANK YOU!!

Best Wishes,

Oliv Sullivan
