Dear Master Cecil Lee, I've been following your forum for sometime and have learnt abit about Flying Stars and the five element remedies. Thanks for providing thishelpfulresource. But when it comes to actual application I'm not so sure and would like to have your valued opinion. Please bear with me and correct meif my understanding/questions was wrong/silly. Here goes : With the New Tiger Year 2010, 1) the Five yellow flew to the SW bedroomwith#7m, #7w,#4b natal stars. I used Yin water ( blue curtain) to counter the #7 stars. But with the arrival of the nasty #5 Year star, strong earth, I fearit might further strengthen the double #7s metal. My questionsare - will Y…

Dear Master Cecil, Can I ask you some questions regarding the issues of Grand Duke position and Conflict sector? I am slightly puzzled about these two points. The Grand Duke is in the Northeast in 2010 Tiger Year, so does it mean we should avoid renovating this sector in the house or opposite it which is Southwest? Which sector is the no-no, Northeast or Southwest? The Conflict sector is in the North. So which sector of the house is not advisable for renovations, the North sector itself or the South which is opposite North? Thanks a lot

Further to what I had mentioned earlier, Why is there no worries about Obsessivecompulsive disorder = OCD? Majority of homes should easily weather themselves from bad situations with or without Feng Shui. Those who want to play safe, can have the benefit of applying some of these concepts:- * Fix-the-Leak, First! * Situational Approach * The Concept of Maximizing Marks * The Concept of Feng Shui by Exception * The Customer Engineer Concept * The Three-Step-Approach You mean to say that in addition to all your worldly concerns each year; for some; ensuring that their child has everything for the coming new year school semester; your job; your family needs; yet..…

1. In my opinion, what you described is pretty common - apartment basements in some parts of NY city. 2. Commonsense Feng Shui:- 2.1. In some low lying countries; the main concern is that for such apartments; is - if there is sudden flooding i.e. where the nearby drains leading to the sea got clogged and or due to sudden heavey downpour in the Tropics. 2.2. Commsense Feng Shui is about making sure that the home is reasonably neat and tidy and : "clear space" is very common word to use, here. 2.3. Being in the basement; it is still good to ocassionaly "air" the home e.g. good to once a while - especially after a down pour to let outside air circulate within the hom…

1. Charcoal stove = traditional "portable" stove. 2. Portable gas stove = modern, non-traditional. 3. Para 1; considered NICE-to-Do. Not a MUST-Do. 4. Frankly, in my opinion, if you are considering Para2; above; you may be the very first in Singapore, JB, Batam and even in the Far East. And maybe, one day, this becomes a new tradition. 5. In my opinion, if one does not do Para 1; no need to go so far as to search for another more modern portable gas stove. 6. In fact, for the last 20 years or so; there are so many variants of the "lighted" stove:- 6.1. The most common method is buy one at the common neighbourhood store and add charcoal wrapped in red paper and bring…

Appended on 4 December 2019: Suggest, please go directly for an in-dept understanding of the Frontage of a house. Is it always the main door? Please refer to the attached resource: http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=6&mid=26954&new= For practical reasons, the smallest Asian sized door width is 35 inches. For European or American standard - should be 42 inches or 48 3/4 inches roughly within such a range. Commonsense approach is that if the width is larger; the larger clearance the door has to "swing" inwards. And imagine if the door size is 58 inches (one or two leaves) a…

Mr. Lee, thank you so much for this simple (to you), invaluable (to me!) painting advice. iv>I am a huge fan of your approach to Feng Shui and take to heart your maxim to "first, stop the leak." v>We live in a South 1 facing period 7 home, and after February of 2004 things began to go, with a few exceptions, less well. We live in the Rocky Mountain west region of the United States, where finding a consultation was difficult, but we did find one Eastern-trained practioner/geomancer, and his advice to us was welcome, if a bit renovation- heavy. I am so grateful to you for advice, as the details of this house sprucing-up have been left to us. Stacy

1. Please note that Period 8 ranges from 2004 to 2023. During the past few months, I being posting this link very often:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/yearly-forecast/fortunes-2010.htm 2. Go check it out. 3. Must everything have a cure? In fact, in many instances, the commonsense cure is not to do it. We plan to put up a small business in front of the house, which is better, locate it in the Northeast or Northwest part. I'm East group, Kua4. The house was built in Period 8. 4. Please note that this is a free GENERAL advice forum.

These are some considerations: 1. If a sector also has good qi especially those coming in thru a window, good to open such windows to allow qi to flow into the home and when doing so, it does help the centrepoint. 2. Usually after heavy down-pour; good to regularly air the entire home e.g. open all "openings" if possible for a short-while - for qi to refresh into the home. 3. Some homes at the centrepoint has clear space, this is good for #8 at the centrepoint. But this is meant more for a home with 20 year flying star and when one wants to built the home from scratch. 4. If a sector has good star(s); and if one can spent time or activity at that sector; that is good.…

1. Effective Feng Shui is a holistic approach. Ruchir P. wrote: Hi , I have bedroom located in south west direction of house. The bedroom also has attached bathroom with toilet in south west direction of room. Is that good? 2. In two sentences, I really can't possible tell. As no Shapes and Forms nor Compass School of Feng Shui is used, here. 3. Holistic Feng Shui is about: 3.1. Enhancing good qi in a home and 3.2. Reducing or neutrasing bad qi in a home. 4. Your question is too general. 5. If youwant to find out whether Year of tiger 2010 is good or not, appreciate, if you can review this link:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/yearly-forecast/fortunes-2010.htm

Facing direction of a home does not necessarily mean that you need e.g. the main, front, door. You mentioned: "Our main door is a sliding glass door facing east. " Usually this should be the frontage or facing direction of your "home" especially if there is "clear space" at the front for qi to congregate. Again, it depends on any blockages e.g. sides are "neighbourhood buildings" etc... If the home is facing e.g. a lake vs the frontage is facing the roadway.. sometimes, the view of the lake could be the frontage. Need judgemental skills.

Frankly, even for Catholics, why is there so much concern of taboos especially for dismantling and post mantling? For regilious matters, since you are Catholic, you easily just approach your church elders (fathers or sisters) if you are still so concern about such things.

1. For the lay person, please use the simple to understand summary and the pre analysed information e.g. auspicious, inauspicious, average, mixed blessings etc. 2. For paid reports where we provide expert help; we use such information (footnotes) if necessary to rank or fine tune our recommendations for our clients. For free reports, as mentioned earlier, use the easy to understand information: for example, things like auspicious, average and even very inauspicious is clear-cut already. 3. Everything in the free report is similar to the paid report except no hourly timing analysis is given.

1. Further to what I had mentioned, even the country with one of the largest population and the country where all Chinese come from celebrates Chinese New Year from 14 Febto 16 Feb: TheSpring Festival. http://www.worldtravelguide.net/country/58/public_holidays/Far-East-Asia/China.html 2. From the above link, the mother of all Chinese culture also uses purely the Lunar calendar and not Xia (Hsia - seasonal) calendar. 4 February 2010 is no where to be found although it is Xia calendar's Start of Spring. 3. In fact, Taiwan, which has the largest pool of Chinese outside of China does not even consider 4th February anywhere in their calendar as a holiday. Taiwan has the lo…
