Dear Anon, Most of the time, our office orientation (sitting) is constrained by either the layout of the office and the use of system furniture where we are not able to tilt our table. Only those who "own" a room may perhaps change their directions. Again, often if the furniture i.e. cabinets, sidetable and table are fixed, also difficult to change, here. However, Eight House Theory or 4Good & Bad directions has limitations, in your situation. There is no magic cure for this. Since you cannot do much, here; have to consider other situations like looking at home Feng Shui. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: I am currently facing my 'Death' position i…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: My husband and I are both EAST person (Kua 3 and 4). Currently I am living on the 19th flr, My main door faces directly at my neighbour?s main door. My main door direction is SE, thus can I consider my facing direction as SE and sitting direction as NW. My balcony faces West. Is sort orientation bad for us? Is it too late to engage a fengshui master like you to change our orientation?

Dear Fran, 1. Frankly, it is difficult to advise you based on a few descriptions. 2. Perhaps, if you have a photo taken from the cul de sac, showing partially the cul de sac, it would be ideal. 3. This is because, usually where the major `force' hits your home, this is the vulnerable area. And if the vulnerable area is a wall, this is quite OK. 4. But if it `hits' say the main door directly or a window of the house, then, a cure should be used. 5. Even if it hits the house, but if the house is angled, this should not be an issue. 6. Let me illustrate a serious cul de sac situation. Please refer to the attached layout plan (not available to those who listen in using a mail…

1. Please note that there is no cure under the Eight House or Eight Mansions concept:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Three-Step-Approach For example, for the Eight house, it is best to spent time at good sector or face a good sector (FULL STOP). 2.1 If you cannot do the above, there is no further cure for it. Eight House concept is usually YES or NO type of senario. and there is no such thing as cure for it! 2.2. Thus is your house direction facing a good direction? YES? NO? 2.3. Is your bedroom in a good sector? YES? NO? 3. Seriously what can be done for the above? Yes or No? If NO, then, if one still wants to apply Feng Shui, then jolly well, look at this co…

Dear Anon, Based on my personal experience, you should go for SW. Often, I do find Catholics and Christians, placing a cross on their door facing outwards of their unit. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: May I know is it advisable to live in a sum of ten apartment but with main door facing the breadwinner's death direction? Anonymous wrote: What if it is a parent string house but main door still facing other unauspicious direction for the breadwinner? Generally, it is not advisable. The reason being is that a unsuitable house simply means that you cannot enjoy the maximium amount of luck from the house. ie Death and Disaster, means say you can only enjoy a small amount of luck from the house. So say the house can normally give you 100%. If it is suitable to you, you can enjoy 100%. If it is unsuitable to you, it is like saying you can onl…

Dear Rich, For apartment above high floor, it is common that you should take the frontage of your home based on where most light comes into the house. This is often the living room balcony. So stand at your balcony and measure the compass direction and whatever that results. That is where your house frontage will be. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Samantha, One must not forget, that flying star is only one portion of a complete analysis. The most important factor to a good house isn't just the 4 walls of the home, but rather the external factors and surrounding. Regardless of whether you take the main door or the facing of the house. Both are not wrong, they are the actual flying star influence of the house itself. Even though, the charts may look different, they are the correct chart for the home. The important issue about flying star is to balance up all the sectors. Regardless of what is the chart, ultimately, the way to balance the sectors will not differ to much. Furthermore, as mentioned, flying star…

Hi Anon, Anonymous wrote: I am absolutely new to Feng Shui. In an effort to find out why my house "doesn't feel right", before I paint this place for the sixth time in seven years, I have started to study, and study, and study. This web site has been very helpful in getting me started in what I believe to be the right direction. One thing that you know in Feng Shui, that you must feel comfortable in the place you live in. There shouldn't be a need to keep re-painting the home just because you think it is unsuitable. Colours are just one aspect of feng shui sometimes you should check if there are other flaws, ie sharp corners cutting your usual work or sleep area for exa…

What you mentioned reminds me of this: "The Ground Is Best Fertilized By Those Who Dwell On It".... Other sayings are: "A photo tells a thousand words... all text... means nothing".....

Star 1 is suppose to be a good star. If it is the water star, then often, opening the main door would be great. If it is a mountain star 1, then, it is also good but main door need not be opened (all the time) to activate it.

Hi Shifu, There are this saying that tall building house facing direction is opps of landed house. Example if the landed house is facing North, so the HDB/Condo should be facing South. Please advice.

Dear Hock Chuan, ong hock chuan wrote: Hi, i am staying on the 14th floor in an apartment..just would like to know how to take and from where should i take the compass direction ? Is it from the main entrance to the apartment or the main door to my unit or from my balcony ? As you are staying on the 14th floor, this falls under apartment (8th level and up). Thus, your facing direction is taken from your living room/balcony facing. So stand inside your home at your balcony or living room and take a reading looking outwards. That willl be your facing direction of the house. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

1. Frankly, it is difficult to visualise where the facing direction (may / could) be... 2. However, as a "rule-of-thumb" or "rule-of-law" or "rule-of-something"..... "IT DEPENDS!" 3. Usually; for macro Flying Star analysis; it is often the facing direction of the Block rather than each of the individual stack(s) assuming that the stucks are facing all sorts of directions. 4. Thus if a Geomancer has been tasked to analyse the entire site to recommend say external features such as a water position e.g. location of fountain(s); waterfalls and swimming pool; then he looks at the MACRO level e.g. the entire BLOCK or development. 5. I suspect that if you are only interested in …

Dear CJ, Frankly, there is no right or wrong answers, here. On a macro level, often, a developer or owner of the entire building may have it checked. Thus, a macro level Feng Shui is done e.g. the facing direction of the complex. Especially for landscaping of the surrounding land area of the complex e.g. water feature, landscaped rock / formation. In many instances, if one is merely a tenant, and hires a FS practitioner, then often, a FS practitioner may perform a micro level Flying star analysis instead of just taking the facing direction of the entire building. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear CJ See, In such a case, I would first ask you whether who would be considered more important or holding very important decision making to keep the company going. If it is you, then ideally the facing of the office should fit you first. Especially, if you are the one running the business operations, and if your partner is considered like a sleeping partner. If not, then your business partner should get a better office facing. Then the other thing you can do, is ensure that you locate yourself in a good sector of the office, so that you can gain luck from that to offset what you cannot gain from the office main door/facing. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert …

In order to fix the leak, can we put a altar facing the main entrance for example: Kuan Kung ? I was told to hang a pa kua in front of my main entrance door as my house is facing a triangle roof of neighbour's house however i've also noticed that my neighbourhang pa kua because her house also facing my house with a triangle roof. 1) How do these pa kua work to each other? 2) I've seen some of the house, it's design has two roofs (Ground and 1st floor). How many pa Kua can we hang in a house? Can they hang two pa kua at Ground and 1st floor? Please advise. Thanks. Regards, Rachel
