Dear Jez, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Thursday, February 25, 1999 5:39 AM Subject: Double 7 on the North Is this a period 7 house? If it is, it is an excellent sector. If it falls under the main door it will bring prosperity for the entire house. In the bedroom, does that direction has a windows? If it does, you can put a fan near the window, to blow in the wind, activating the prosperity for the room. Otherwise, the other method is to user a fountain. But as it is the bedroom it is not advisable:) Hope that helps you:) Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Anon, So far, Lillian Too has a Chinese Numerology Book. It is quite difficult to digest thou as this is not one of her `best works'. In my opinion, she is better writing books on Shapes and Form books. One can enhance oneself by knowing the a person's birth element and strength. Sorry, I am not sure what is your question as we are usually moving around. Unless you are referring to constantly `facing' a poison arrow. I believe not much unless one try using more Yang than yin. E.g. brighter clothing. I am not sure how effective this is. If so, try to wear clothing that enhances your birth element e.g. weak water person can try to wear a blue clothing/shirt. W…

1. Recently, I was tasked to do a town planning (severalthousand ha) for a third-world country. For such a large size, Shapes and Form Feng Shui is the first consideration. 2. It is not true that Flying Star applies only to "after" built up. Locally, many Singaporeans, get us to either do a major Additions and alternation works (A & A). And Flying Star is used widely especially to determine: where qi comes into the home or tap good qi; "lock up" bad qi etc.... 3. In past forum messages, Flying Star chart is like a pie, it can it be a small one or extended out towards the properties marker line or zone. 4. For a plot of land, even if we use Flying star, Shapes and…

Dear Anon, 1. `sum of ten', double 7 and double 8 are strictly based on Xuan Kong or Flying Star Feng Shui. 2. `Sum of Ten' For example, if the #numbers add up to 10; then this is considered as an auspicious number. Often, this is factored into under the Eight-One combination where the 9 by 9 luo shu grid when ( times ) X together i.e. 9 x 9 = 81 combinations. Here, for example, a Flying star numerology of #2 combined with #8 which when added equals sum #10. This is considered an auspicious number (interpretation). 3. Double 7's and Double 8's This is the most popular concept. Where for example since we are now under Period 7; if the main entrance or door has double 7's e…

Dear Mark, Frankly, it is best to look at all the stars at one go. Rather than looking at it separately. 3 - Strong Wood,5 -Strong Earth, 6 - Strong Metal Looking at the bad stars, 5 Strong Earth is exhausted by both Strong Metal and Strong Wood. So the star 5 impact in that sector is not an issue. Strong Wood is also controled by Strong Metal. So also neutralised. So even if you do not do anything most of the stars are almost neutralised. However, this is no harm in adding some Metal cures to further strengthen the sector. A little Water and Fire will also not do much harm as it will then create a full five element harmony (Wood -

Dear Robert and Cecil, I just ran a flying star report for my gas station. The Southeast sector concerns me because that's where my convenient store, half of the front door to the gas station and my cash register are located. In the Southeast sector, the 20-year star (star 5) vs. the year star (also star 5) which form an inauspicious combination and the solution is to use METAL to exhaust and weaken earth. The mountain star (star 8) vs. water star (star 4) also form an inauspicious combination and the proposed solution is to use METAL to destroy and control wood. Is it OK if I hang a 6-hollow rod metal windchime outside the front door AND a 6-coin-tied-with-red-string abo…

Dear Anon, Usually, when the year the house was built is in question, we normally use two different period house which we suspect the house to be built and then do a comparison to see which is more likely to be thechart that is present in your home. If you can tell for sure when you had any major renovation done, then you can be pretty sure which chart influence is still present for your home. Period 6 (1964-1983) while Period 7 (1984-2003). Now we are in Period 8 (2004-2023). Generally, if you had any major renovation done in period 7, then it is very likely that your house belong to the period 7, else it will still remain as a period 6 chart. So unless there was a m…

[Based on the message posted below] Dear Anon, Frankly, I also do not like to do manual checking and have done away with it. Perhaps, why not try to take up a course/correspondense from any of the websites that provide such a course. Currently, I am still not `satisified' with the current materials on the course at geomancy.net is suppose to launch. Will only launch it when I am completely satisfied with the quality and content. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Frankly, so long as you try to do minor renovations or do if possible do it piecemeal i.e. renovation a few locations at a time e..g not more than 1/4 of the home, usually your home would not fly into the new period. Thus, if you need to change the carpet, see if it is possible or feasible to do them piecemeal:-

Dear Kevin, 1. This is based on the "vertical Flying Star" analysis interpretation based on the combination of 81 numbers. 2. The 81 combinations is literally what it means. 3. Likewise, if one looks at the information of a "Horizontal Flying Star" or 20 Year Flying star, each sector also has a significance. (81 combinations of mountain vs water star). 4. A practitioner does not read this interpretation alone. But collectively with other inputs found. 5. Generally, as Robert has often stated, a much more productive use of this House number is where: for those who are not too sure of which unit to purchase in a similar block of flat, could perhaps, look at the significance…

Dear David, Basically, you cannot just choose which period is better and take that analysis. The period is there for a purpose. You need to specify which period the house was built. And that will give you the analysis for the house number. What you need to remember here is that a house number is supposed to help you to see which unit is better. This is especially for units of the same layout plan but located on different levels. It does nothing more than this. The results of the analysis isn't very important as it is there only to show how good or bad the analysis is. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee Geomancy.Net - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research.

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I would like to know whether is there any remedy if there are 6 & 2in the flying star house number report that meant sickness or illness relating to stomach & internal intestines illness. My house number is #09-104 (Period 7), facing SouthWest. Thanks for your advise. Not to worry about the flying star analysis results for house number. The flying star number analysis only helps to tell you whether the unit is considered auspicious or not compared to another unit above or below you. Basically, that is about all. That analysis will only happen if the stars of the sector contains the mountain star is 6 and the water star 2. So I won't …

Further to what I had mentioned; 1. Go take a look at this sample snapshot of a Flying Star chart with the 81 Combinations included for a sector. 2. Even in our modern world: Do you live like a hermit or also need to interact with others? 3. The interaction of 3 and 6:- [3] & [6] - Lawsuit, injury to hands and legs. 3.1. For humans, how to make babies if there is only one person? 3.2. In the above example: a person called Number 3 marries Number 6. 3.3 Please see attachment. You were partially right to say that number #6 is a good number. But you were totally wrong in saying that number #3 is auspicious? How can it be? Strong Wood (3) (Inauspicious Star) represents…

Dear George, No, it is meant for high-rise buildings - where it was felt that qi is different at different levels. Therefore this theory can besaid as "a vertical Flying star theory". While the regular Flying star takes into account "horizontal Flying star analysis. Warmest Regards Cecil

Dear Carrie, 1. On this site, the interpretation is inside my course materials on Flying Star, but currently as I mentioned in a few postings that, I prefer to work on it further as I am not fully satisfied with the course materials. 2. Currently, the Flying Star Report available under www.geomancy-online.com fully meets the requirements and is exhaustive in analysing all three components: Water, Mountain and Base stars for each sector. And giving advise when needed for imbalances within each sector and also providing advise on the element required. 3. So far, I have only seen others who only manage to just generate the charts but lack fully in the above analysis. 4. The…

Dear Curtis, The most effective method is as follows:- 1. Use Ba Zi together with Flying Star Feng Shui. 2. Knowing one's Ba Zi (element and strength) is crucial. For example: a person with weak wood element. 3. For each family member determine their element and strength. Here, for example, for a couple (husband and wife) it is best to determine the `binding' element that helps both parties element `grow'. So that, for example in the bedroom; if the binding element is `water'; then the wall can for example be painted blue or light blue. For the living room furniture e.g. couch blue/black or grey are the best colours to help `bind' the couple. 4. Please note that Flying St…

Dear Master Cecil, Happy Chinese New Year to you. I miss the drumming and lion dance since leaving Singapore 20yrs ago, its quiet here with giant kangaroos dancing instead, and thawed imported expensive thai durians and HongKong fortune cookies from supermarket, never quite the same celebratory chi! I am amazed by the depth of fengshui ancient knowledge that I only recently felt guided to read u. And research books etc. maybe it is Master Lao Tzu that had been in my dreams trying to wake me up to the truth of our existence as the unnameable dancing TAO! Then I stumbled upon your impressive website and warms my heart to discover you are from Singapore! I am hoping if you c…

Dear Daria, Yes, in my opinion, based on what I understand; is it many practitioners would consider removing the roof (and putting it back i.e. changing it) as a change in Period. Thus, you should consider your parents' home as under Period 7 influence, already. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Cecil, First I wanted to thank you for the incredible wealth of information and guidance you publish on your site. I might say this is the best source of Feng Shui information I have found on the internet. I also really appreciate your modern common sense interpretations of the concept of facing. Due to this - I tried to do my own DIY assessment using a combination of the different schools. Our home is being built and move in date will be mid-2024 so I use period 9 facing SE2 for Flying star. I have a couple of questions I hope you might offer some of your expertise on. I’m trying to ask them in a way that might also be useful for other people on the for…
