Dear Felicia, Apparently, you are new to Feng Shui. 1. For the elusive "wealth corner" there are quite alot of things to take note off! 2. Authentic Feng Shui involves especially understanding Shapes and Forms and Compass School Feng Shui: Eight House / Flying star. 3. If para 2 seems greek, than either if you want to D.I.Y. then got to start from fresh going thru various concepts such as those under Para 2. 4. In addition, the most common mistake made by many of us is: often, we think in terms of only " where is my wealth sector" Not realising that : " Fix-the-leak, first!" 5. For example, many us heard of this story about this boy who tried to save Holland. He lit…

Dear Angela, Angela Le wrote: 20-Year Reigning Period: 8 (2004-2023) Does this mean the information provided to me applies only to a house built between 2004 -2023? In the house hunting report, this period refers to houses built within 2004-2023. This is because the flying star influence is calculated based on the 2004-2023 so the best houses in period 8 will be different if it is built earlier in period 7. Thus, when you do a house hunting report, you normally prepare a period 7 and period 8. For houses built in period 7, you look at the best direction recommended in period 7 report, while if the houses are built in period 8 look at the best direction recommende din p…

Dear Anon, One observation in Singapore is that there are still many Geomancers; many only familiar with Eight House Theory and practising FS. Some of these practitioners started FS business as a novice, finding the simplicity of Eight House and have not upgraded themselves in their " FS careers ". Hopefully, they should compensate this with good Shapes and Form FS. The main worry about applying only Eight House or Flying Star is that these two theories should not be used in isolation. Many a times, one who only favours numerology i.e. Flying Star; may overlook the Shapes and Form. It is of no great value if it sounds nice on paper i.e. the stars looks great but everyting…

Dear Anon, Feng Shui in many instances can "boost" the luck for conception. Frankly, it depends greatly on location, location, location. Many who had seen success are those where many good Flying star numbers under the "mountain" star can be activated. For any home, HDB or landed property, proper accessment can be made to determine and activate Flying star numbers: 1. #8- current prosperity star: Mountain Star #8 and or Water Star #8 2. #9 - future prosperity star (This star (if possible) should be activated for middle aged couples trying to conceive. 3. #1 - future prosperity star. Usually effective if the Mountain star #1 is activated. Thus, one do not need to …

For Free Auspicious dates:- 1. The link is as follows:- http://dates.geomancy.net 2. The FREE dates are always available for the NEXT 30 days. 3. Please note that often, the maximumnumber of persons to review the dates are : TWO.If more person's auspicious dates are reviewed; it is much harder to find good dates. Leong S. wrote: My family Zodiac : Myself - Ox , Husband - Rat , Son - Rooster 4. GIGO: Garbage in, garbage out. Dear Regina, In my opinion, this is not a major issue. Unless, one has a huge pond that can support: flamingoes, ducks etc.... So far, bird-baths is not an issue. Birds coming to one's home is considered a "secret" weapon of Feng Shui, since, it suggests a place or location with (often with many trees/plants all round). This is indeed, very good. (But one must see what type of bird, is attracted to the place:) Hopefully not crows! *JOKE*) Warmest Regards, Cecil Regina Cohn

1. Yes, it is simply common sense that you should use your ACTUAL birth date. 1.1. In fact, in many countries, and in rural areas, often a birth gets reported several days later or even weeks later. 1.2. In Singapore, there are lots of cases where, a birth was reported many days and weeks later. Thus, it is always prudent to use one's actual birth date. This refers to the 2nd part of your question: Master Bedroom: Which side must I sleep on

IN SUMMARY "The laughing Buddha serves as a symbol of joy and positivity in home decor, offering a welcoming presence that contrasts with more serious figurines. Its versatility as a decorative item allows for placement in various settings without strict adherence to traditional rules." Master Cecil Lee, Geomancy.net +++ These are some considerations: 1. The laughing Buddha shares a similar theme as a pair of chubby well-endowed smiling lions found on the gate posts of some landed property homes. 2. Instead of a fierce looking chi-lin or qi-lin "guarding a home" 3. What this means is than especially for the owners of a home; coming hom…

Dear Jojo, Under the Shapes and Form School, this is inherent with the unit i.e. you cannot do much here other than to balance the `yin' aspect to make the location more bright `yang' due to the lower level housing. Other than the above, more investigations can be done using the Flying Star to analyse the birth chart of the house. This is not compulsory. Warmest Regards, Cecil

As mentioned in an earlier reply to one of your questions: the model that you are using originated as / from " A modern invention - invented by Lin Yun "..... All Traditional Chinese Feng Shui sites and practitioners steer clear of such "rubbish" (bull-shit) in the name of "Feng Shui"..... http://qi-whiz.com/node/35- The Confession of Lin Yun ....

Dear Lee Robert Thanks though for replying. Ummm, I do have one more question in mind. Here in a city in the philippines we have a geomancer named rev. father wongsengtian a taoist priest. He is called a fengshui master. Though he also is gifted with psychic abilities that he uses in assessing the chi of an area, as for cures he prescribes using charms like this Patron saints emblem or holy lotus? Is this still connected with feng shui or superstition. I thought feng shui is not connected with religion? Thanks, godspeed

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I heard 2 different things the first one is that i have to allign the bagua to the front door. the second is that i have to use real directions (north, southwest, etc) Which one is true? Actually, when you hang a bagua, the purpose is to help deflect the Sha Qi especially cutting into your main door or frontage. So you do not just hang it there just because someone tell you it is good. So once you understand the purpose of the bagua (ie to deflect sha qi), therefore you place it at the poition to help reflect the sha qi that is affecting you. You don't just place it at the door or at a position. You place it where it helps to delect the s…

Dear Christina, Thanks for the detailed information. If you have contacted a doctor and most likely he/she has confirmed that everything seems OK, if properly applied Feng Shui can help. Especially using the Flying Star Feng Shui to look at the overall situation. Other disciples includes analysing you and your husband's Pillars of destiny to improve on the " Heaven Luck ". Currently, the Horse Year is not favourable in particular especially to the Rat person. Who is born in the years - 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984 and 1996. Dear Wendy, Please see below:- Yes, in Feng Shui, it is considered inauspcious to have the entrance open into stair cases. Here, the rationale is because, beneficial Qi that is suppose to come into the house, will be affected by e.g. the vortex of unsmooth flow e.g. such as the steps of the stairs. In your second question, it is more of "commonsense approach". Not so much of Feng Shui. For example, one worry is that when one walks out of the bedroom, although it may be highly unlikely, e.g. guests may not be aware and walk further and `fall' down. This may seem highly unlikely, but it may happen not in every home but it may just happen. What is more important is w…

Dear Anthony, I hope I get your question correctly. If you are using the Luo Pan; there are many different types of Luo Pan out there. But no matter which type it is; the traditional Luo Pan has it's needle (always) pointed towards the magnetic"south" and the opposite side facing north. Frankly, there are quite alot of replies on the same subject: 1. Placing a mirror in the bedroom be it facing the bed and/or even not facing the bed but in many areas of the bed - have been discussed, before. 2. There are two sides of the coin; here:- 2.1. In many of the previous replies I have mentioned that some Feng Shui books highlight that when one sleeps; one's spirit wakes up; see's itself and get a shock of it's life (in the mirror). 2.2. Look at it this way, there are others who are highly tolerant of mirrors. 2.3. For example, many new homes have windows that are even at bed-level. At night many of the windows have reflective surface and they would then be "mir…

1. Frankly, in several of the past messages; the house number analysis is better used in situations for a new development where many of the stacks and units are available. 2. Here, for example within a stack; one can quickly check which level or storey or floor is better. For example stack #08 has most of the units available. For example; stack #9 could be better than say #7 or #10. In such situations. 3. In a "no-choice" or highly limited choice senario of resale homes; even if another unit in the same stack is better; and if no one wants to sell it; not much use, here. 4. In the final situation: Shapes and Forms and things like plotting out the Flying Star chart for tha…

1. The two stars #3 and #4 are associated or share the same significance. 2. Thus, not only just the annual #4 but also #3. 3. Common sense says that if one's water feature or position is of a certain size; it is not practical to shrink the water in such a feature too drastically. For example, if one has a fish tank. It is not practical to half-the water in such a water position. 4. Under the Five elements concept; so long as the water feature has all the five elements: then there is balance. For more information of what makes a well balanced water feature comprising all five elements: Resource: http://fountain.geomancy.net Para 2.1 to 2.12

Frankly, if you are not sure, best to "invest" in or search for a Geomancer that provides Can or Cannot buy service or services for a home. Usually, if you are very interested in a home; and if you engage a geomancer to advice on "Can or cannot buy"; on that visit; the geomancer will advice on the home and if the home has issues; will advise you further and often, you will get to understand what to look out for (later) on your next house hunting. Hope you understand that a one line statement that you had made below:- sounds so simple.... Dear Anon, 1. There are some differences in opinion over this. But the differences are not on Feng Shui but rather based on `beliefs'. 2. The belief is that it is inauspicious to hang a carpet especially if it has been `used' before e.g. stepped on. 3. On the other hand, some find it acceptable to hang carpets. Especially `antique' carpets such as the Famous hand stiched Persian carpets. 4. It is my opinion, that there is really no harm to hang decorative carpets on the wall. They can be treated like any other piece of art. (Especially if they are rare pieces). Where best, if they have red background, ideally they should be hung in the living room or in a `special' room. …

Thank you so much for your reply I very much appreciate it. It has made things very clear for me and now I can proceed with confidence. I do have a very good compass and as a matter of interest if you have Google Earth and then zoom down to look at your property, at the top of the page in "TOOLS" there is an option for "RULER" click this and the click two points on your property this will give you a very accurate direction of your property. I have double checked this with my compass and it is very accurate. Of course not to be relied upon but as a way to double check it is invaluable. My best regards and thanks again. Dale.
