Dear Bail, Thanks for the two pictures Quote: Bail Lim wrote: I just want to ask if it is good to put computer in between the two beds?below is a link of my bedroom picture. Yes, there are two issues with such an arrangement: 1. the edge of the computer tableis a form of a poison arrow aimed towards the bed. 2. usually not ideal to place an older CRT monitor next to the bed-head especially if it is turned on, when we are sleeping. Once, turned off during sleep, should not pose an issue. Quote: Another Question is that if it is good to have the kitcen stove facing the door of my bedroom? Dear Anon, For really bad stars #5 combined or inflammed by #9; it is good to control this with "moving-metal". "Moving-metal" is particulary useful since you mentioned that in addition to these two bad stars, there is a further #3 = lawsuits, quarrels star. If the bedroom is not a bedroom, then one may consider using a six-hollow-rod windchime at that specific sector. Or a chiming clock around the wall of that sector. A clock that makes mechanical movement is also acceptable. Other traditional Feng Shui cures include:- a. the placement of a hulu or bottle gourd e.g. placed at the bed side table. b. for severe cases: get a jam jar (sized bottle). place 6 copper co…

Dear Anon, Feng Shui is about earth luck. And usually an investigation using Flying Star can help detect any issues with regards to health in one's home. The tell tale signs of health issues are especially: 1. bad star numbers e.g. #5 with /or #2 with or #9 combined or in isolation 2. These stars fall either in the bedroom or frontage of the home. For example, for wealth wise, a Period 8, SW1 has good $$ prospect. But such a home potentially has to "take-care" of health issues/problems. For example: Period 8, SW1 :- Frontage SW has M5 W8 B5 Back NE has M8 W2 B2 As the frontage and back of the home are equally important, such a home has to control in particular bad…

Dear Anon, If possible try to see if you can plot a Flying Star chart. If so, check to see if: #5 misfortune / sickness and/or #2 sickness and/or #9 fire fuelling sickness are in the room or not. The cure depends on the severity of any of the above and or combinations of them. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: My EightHouse Report says that it is a bad direction for me ( Spook ).Can that be a reason for my bad health , and how can I help myself if I can?t change my bedroom place?

Dear Trish, Frankly, without a sketch, it is quite difficult to figure out your exact room layout plan. Firstly, what are you trying to achieve. From your second last paragraph, you mentioned that pointing west is good for you. However, does it look not only feasible but "comfortable" for you. In other positions are you trying to avoid aiming your foot towards the bathroom door? Generally, if there are no other better placements, this is quite acceptable. Most of the time, to be honest there are limited configurations for placing the bed /bed-head. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Trish Perry wrote: My question has to do with bed positioning. Dear Anon, A. In addition to Para 8, please see below:- 8) In addition, at the KITCHEN, place FA GAO x1 and ORANGES x3 on the stove. - with an ang pow with 20cents or 2 dollars or even number notes/coins will do. - Do not sweep the floor on the three days of placement. For example, if placed on Saturday, only sweep the floor after Monday i.e. from next Tuesday onwards ONLY. - After this date, all the ang pow money can be used to purchase sweets or sweet-drinks for own family consumption. B. In many instances - for homes especially many Housing Board flats that come "bare" without living room floor tiles done; i.e. only cement screeding; most likely after three days, o…

Dear Tanja, In my opinion, the best trouble-shoot is to apply Flying Star Feng Shui. Most likely certain sectors of your home is affected by one or a combination of any of these "sickness" stars:- #5 misfortune /sickness #2 sickness and often "severe" health issues could be attributed to the addition of #9 to any one or both or a combination of these stars e.g. #5 with #5 with #9 = very, very bad health issues #5 with #9 = equally very, very bad health issues and the severity of health issues can come from any combinations or singular #5, #2 and or #9. In particulars watch out for these stars particularly in any bedrooms and/or frontage of the home or living room a…

Dear Eric, Frankly, if there is a double 7th month, often if someone is celebrating their lunar birthday; then the 1st 7th month is considered their birthday. Given that you have a constrain, here i.e. delay if renovations do not start, then, for practical reasons, you may carry out your renovations. But during the renovation period, avoid or try not to visit the home frequently especially to spent time to eat - sleep or eat - bathe or bathe-eat, there. Avoid performing a "supervisory" role during the 7th month when renovations are carried out. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Yew Heng, In general, it sounds, OK. However, some of the key factors include: 1. If one stands in-side the home looking outwards, is there any lamp post, or a tree trunk facing the mainentrance or windows of the home. 2. Where possible, the plot of land is rectangular/squarish in shape. 3. Sewerage pipes / conduits running into the home 4. Drainage locations. Ideally should not cut into the side of the home etc.. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: leong yew heng wrote: I would like to buy the new house that near to the T-junction, well myneighbor next to me is directly facing the T-junction and i am not.

Dear Anon, Can you check and feed-back further: i.e. what type of ba gua mirror did your neighbour place above their main door: Key features of the ba gua mirror: 1. Is there a mirror on the ba gua mirror? Yes/No 2. If so, is the mirror flat / concave or convex? Concave/ Convex 3. Is it purely a single mirror or on the exterior there are outer rings of the ba gua eight tigram? 4. Other ba guas e.g. with qi ling or "lion head" or with guardians of two door gods? Any other figurines (or pair of figurines) aimed at your home. Any yellow charms above their door? For info, usu…

Dear Anon, In Asia, in my opinion, the most popular set of display figurines has got to be the "Fu Lu Shou" set of threefigurines.Either in a set or lettering. Before the popularity of the laughing buddha or buddha figurines; the above can be found in many "well-to-do"Chinese homes as early as 1960's. They are in-fact very popular right up today. The "Fu Lu Shou" figurines do not have any religious connotationsbut simply many Chinese love to display this set of three wise persons. As mentioned as one of the most popular display items of any Chinese homes. Thesethree figurines comes in many sizes, large, medium and small. They come in all sorts of material from gold, s…

Dear Patricia, Yes, in particular, even if your home has a combination of ten, it is good to review the layout plan to see if the home could or could not benefit from a change of Period. For example, as you had mentioned theparticular concern iswhcih part of the home the north #7's fall into. If this is the living room or activityarea orroom, then, one may seriously have to consider "flying" toperiod 8.Again, you need to study the Period 8 chartto see if the layout plan is suitable for activating double auspicous #8 at the South sector as well as other good sectors like SW and West. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: I live in a south 2 period 7 house in all rooms there i…

Dear Andy, In the past, no one has ever heard of such a thing or even products using the Feng Shui name. For example, nowadays, many are ripping off others by using terms like "Feng Shui jewelery". It's the blackhole effect. What happens is that if we purchase such products, our pocket(s) will have a huge deep dark hole. And mostly, the seller benefits from this sale! For many Chinese, let's imagine or go back to our grand-parent's time or for many, our parents home. There are no such things prior to 1970's as Feng Shui crystals nor is it common place to find three-legged toads. In the past, it is widely common to find more popular stones such as jade and diamonds. But…

Dear Anon, Frankly, you are not alone. There are thousands and in-fact millions of people who bought homes prior-to or never even heard of Feng Shui. Or had bought their dream-home prior to consulting which is their suitable directions etc... In order to apply Feng Shui, it is best to go more on a holistic approach. As there are many (many variables) not just "one-wrong" point and oops! We are done for! For example, in many instances, even if a home does not suit us but some homes may have "superior" external shapes and forms. In addition, under Flying Star Feng Shui for the current period "Period 8" - in general; NE homes are suppose to or can benefit from good Feng …

Dear Georgy, #8 = current prosperity and appears as the base (or palace star #8) #1 = future, future prosperity water element ON Mountain star AND #6 = strong metal Thus, #6 strengths the mountain star #1 (future, future prosperity). In addition, base star #8 is the current prosperity thus bring good relationship and networking luck. Overall, despite your ba zi element: You can consider painting the room cream or beige. As you are a strong metal person although earth colours are suppose not to besuitable for you:- Earth colours are: BRIGHT Yellow, cream or beige But because this sector or room has verygoodearth (mountain) elements, you can seriously consider paintin…

Dear Anon, In my opinion, it more to do with either: a. "old folks-tale" and /or b. may affect some of us psychologically. c. health wise a. Old folks-tale Many of us would find it reasonable to hear old tales or belief that carring a mole at the back of our body is considered like "carrying" a burden. Sounds resonable, rite? b. Psychology or feel-good-feel-bad Small things like these may affect some people's confidence level and affect their mind-health c. Health reasons Hopefully not but sometimes they could be cancerous or start of a tumour Frankly, there is no right or wrong in this case. Any one of the above could be reasons why we may consider removing th…

Dear Anon, Frankly, there are many interpretations of kitchen in the "wrong" sector. Under Traditional Feng Shui, the major concern is the Kitchen and in particularly the stove at NW sector. NW is suppose to be the Heaven's gate. And under Traditional Feng Shui, it also reflects the head of the household. And when a stove is located at NW, then it is commonly called "fire-at-heaven's" gate. However, some modern Feng Shui practitioners call the SW sector the romance sector. I believe, this is what you are concerned with. As for SW = romance sector, this is usually not a key issue under Traditional Feng Shui practitioners. As mentioned, this is considered more of a "mode…

Dear Trudy, Frankly, there is no hard and fast rule in garden design. Even for gardening, there are many factors involved: 1. plot size 2. weather conditions: Tropics / Four Seasons 3. owner's preferences The type of trees /plants or shrubs would depend on the country we are all in. In Singapore, especially in the 1970's, it is very common for many landed properties to grow a mango tree in one's compound. In many instances, the mango tree (depending on the garden area) is often planted at the corner of one's garden either at the front-of-the-home or at the back. When this tree is often around 10 to 15 years old, they can be as tall as 3 storey's high and leave quite…

Dear Hoa Luong, Yes, one alternative is to place a plant. Alternatively, if we frequently leave the wooden door open, one could consider a reflective grill gate e.g. stainless-steel gate that has a mirror effect that covers most of the side of the gate that faces this stairs. Warmest Regards, Cecil
