Dear Olivia, Olivia Kim wrote: I am confused about with you compatibility chart. I am a Ram but also an East person whose Kua # is 9. Isn't this a direct conflict? How can such a relationship work? Please explain. Please avoid confusing yourself by relating different concepts together. ie Compatibility & Eight House are different. When we check compatibility between two persons, we are looking to ensure that two persons do not conflict with one another e…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: My son is not doing as he should in school. he is in 11th std.How do i improve his scholastic performance I personally, think that you are setting too high a standard. I won't call 11th student being that bad as compared to last in the class or entire school. However, in terms of feng shui the few things you can do to improve his study are basically:- 1. Try to ensure that he is sitting facing his best direction (ie. Excellent or Prosperity direction). You can make use of this Eight House direction report:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-8h.htm 2. Also, you must take note of where is the direction of the Sun whi…

Dear Ng Chiew Kiat, I believe you are trying to ask whether you can just enter the date of birth of the club in the ba zi report, am I right? Well, not really. The ba zi is for pesonal luck, you cannot use it in the same way for the establishment of a business or club. Though, it was a really good way of looking at it. But it will not work that way. You can only assess the feng shui but not the luck of the business/club/establishment. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Generally, it is not advisable for the roof to be Blue / Gray as this normally means water over your head which symbolises difficulty in I-Ching. Thus, often it is better to have roofs that are Red colo…

Dear Norman, Norman Leonor wrote: I have a mirror 4feet by 4 1/2 feet standing infront my stairs upstairs.. Does this mirror have any effect on us and for the good chi or bad chi? Generally, it is not a good idea to have a mirror just at the stairs, simply because it can be a shock for people to see themselves when theyreach the top. Especially for those who are not aware that it is there. Furthermore, mirror if placed in bad sector, can sometimes bounce/create twice the bad luck. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Could not find any discussion on traveling in different directions and how that effects us. Specifically traveling to country or a city which is in direction of ones death direction. Generally, most people do use this travelling information in this way. I mean to get from one place to another by car or plan, there can only be a certain direction you can travel. So if you follow it strictly like South is Death, that means you completely avoid South. But what if South is the only way to get to your destination? So this is not practical and that is why you do not see anyone following this strictly by the book. Furthermore, for the Eight House di…

Edited by Robert: There is no promise as to whether Cecil will have time to review the condo that you have listed as he is extremely busy. Hi Cecil, I am a new member here and find this site extremely interesting. It provides a comfort zone to analyse when one faces related feng sui issues. Had read your review and some of your feedback about condominium at or around Flora Road - specifically Dahlia Park and so. Wonder if you have any review about the blocks at Estella Gardens TOP 1999, which is located at Flora Road as well. Would appreciate your view. What do you think about this Project in general? and anyparticular view on the blo…

In the U.S. it sounds similar to the chinese pronounciation, is this correct? Generally, a garage isn't really part of a house. So it can be built separately or added on, but the entry or direction of the garage will not replace the facing of the house. So it really does not matter if it is not possible to enter into the garage from a good direction. Back to …

So, for sleeping I have to have the best direction for me behind my head when laying down on my bed? It looks like you have to face in the opposite direction. Is this correct? For the other positions (work, study), itlooks like you have to have your head facing towards your best direction. Is this also correct? Yes, sleeping position is where say East is Longevity, your head should point to East and your feed point opposite in the West. This is because you are sleeping so your head should be pointe…

Frankly, it is not really correct for you to relate the number of earth element present in someone else chart, to add that to your own chart. It does not work that way. The number of elements in individual person chart, is used to asses whether he is weak or strong person of a particular element. ie if he is a wood…

I read in the books that we should avoid placing the yin and yang objects in opposite directions or next to each other. Meaning that the refrigerators and water dispensers (yin objects) should not be opposite or next to the stove. Actually, according to what I read, placing them in opposite directions is even more harmful than side-by-side. I have a microwave oven (used rarely, 2-3 times a day) and an electric 5-litre water pot. They are placed next to each other due to space constraint. Does this represent a clash between yang and yin? I am not too sure that the electric water pot is yin or yang. It is used very frequently, because we use a lot of hot water at home. Wa…

Our neighbours are make our life very difficult. We have a big fight with them. What can we do to neutralize this problem. Feng Shui is by no means a miracle cure to all problems, especially not in people to people relationship which is related to Human Luck. In terms of feng shui, areas relating to quarrels/conflict are star 3 in the flying star chart especially near your frontage or main door. If there are any, you can try to reduce it by having Metal to control the sector, or Fire to exhaust the star if there are no Star 2/5. You can use th…

Hi Cecil My altar of worship( Buddha, Kuang Ti and nine sky goddess) is facing a sliding glass door. This glass door is situated diagonally from my main door. I can see reflections of the deities in the glass door. Distance of the altar to this glass door is about 16 feet. Is this bad fengshui? I am thinking of removing this glass door so that upon entering through the main door, I can see my main hall. Now it is partially blocked by this glass door. Advise please. Thank you Richard Lim
