Hello, I have a big dilemma. We purchased a home a year ago, S2 Period 7, house was built in 1952, however, the owner told us he had replaced the roof in 1995. Using your site & various good books, I made several changes & applied various cures. Things seemed to have calmed down for the whole family except my oldest son.He is doing well in school but has now had 2 car accidents,constant sickness, and we've noticed he's been drinking (alcohol) more lately. Have I made a mistake & should instead consider our house to be a Period 5? We really don't know whether the new roof was just placed on top of the old one or if it was totally taken off. Frankly this is pretty common, and it depends. In Singapore many estates have such a situation e.g. Siglap hill area, Hume Avenue, Yio Chu Kang, River Valley, Dunearn Road, Holland Rd areas. In fact, just about anywhere. Thus, many factors including how the home was built. In general, you are quite correct to say that earth luck (or poor luck) is usually strongest at the ground level.

Dear Anon, For such items, if not in use should preferably be kept in a storeroom. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, it is best to avoid to avoid a soild object such as the grinding stones at bad earth sectors e.g. #5 or #2. Do not want to inflame these sectors with such a "large boulder". Hi, I have read conflicting things about whether living right next to a roundabout is good or bad for the energy of the home. Some practitioners seem to feel the circular energy is too harsh and confused and others feel it's neutral or even positive. We have the opportunity to purchase a new home on the lot marked with a red arrow. Wondering if we should pick this one or stay away. For reference the street with the roundabout does not have much traffic. For Flying star enthusiasts it is S1 facing period 9 which makes this a 7 star robbery chart. Dear Anon, Feng Shui cannot be done by "remote-control". Here, if one does not stay in a home, there is minimal or no influence at all. One must be staying in that home to have an earth (Feng Shui influence). Thus, if you are staying in your mum's home: 1. May consider the Feng Shui of your mum's home. 2. An alternative? If you have alternative or if it is feasible, sometimes, each home has it's specific Feng Shui "luck". Hi Master, My wife and I are from Malaysia and are interested to purchase a house and we would like to seek your advice on which unit is preferred. Please refer to the attachment below. As, firstly the external environment of the home, also needs to be considered such as any open drains or canal outside, passing thru the home and other external factors. The main concern is the toilet at the frontage of the house. And this is where, you should not make the garage door as your symbolic main entrance door. In my opinion, your two-sided stairway does not seem to pose any major problems since there is a lift landing upstairs.
