Dear Anthea, Yes, under the fortune telling analysis, Moles on Face is one form of analysis:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-face.htm In our website, we all along do not emphase on fortune telling portions for even ba zi. This is because, we believe that a lot of such fortune telling if any only create fears for people. And it will create this self-fullfilling concept. Where a person believes so much in the negative prediction, that you actually make it happen. Frankly, any form of even cosmetic surgery (how small), carries a risk of danger. So is it really worth the while to do so? The best way is to try to be in harmony with your envrionment, by kno…

Dear Anon, Generally, grand duke does not affect a person much unless you refer to renovation work that happen in that sector direction. For bed or sleeping position, priority goes to the shapes and form placement of the bed within the room itself. Followed by, if possible best sleeping direction. Since grand duke isn't so much to worry in this case, thus you can choose to sleep with your head facing East. Please note that as mentioned you should also consider other factors such as the shapes and form of the bed. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, In terms of this question, with regards to Grand Duke and sitting direction. If possible, you should avoid sitting facing the West. However, where you have constrain in this, then this Grand Duke issue is the least concerned. There are many concepts but not everything has to be followed depending on priority. Since you have a choice of direction North, then it would be advisable to sit facing North. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, You can make use of the Auspicious Dates Analysis reports in our website to find the best date for your needs. URL: http://www.geomancy.net/products/po-dates/po-dates.htm Our auspicious date analysis requires name, gender, date and time of birth to be able to tell you the most personalised date that is best for you in addition to the Tong Shu. Since each person is unique, there is no single date that is good for all, unless you justlook only at Tong Shu. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, A statute of a galloping horse is often placed facing the main entrance. Here, this symbolises either: 1. Frequent travels e.g. for work or leisure 2. Horses running out of the home or office to get more business. Under the Chinese zodiac sign, the horse element represents the fire element. Thus it is on the opposite side of the Rat element. Reference: http://www.lovesigns.net In ancient times, a movement of a group of 8 horses running was suppose to represent a famous 10 century Chinese King. Under Flying star Feng Shui, if there is a mountain star #9 and say this is the living room area or an area where it looks nice to display the 3 red horses, this …

Dear Anon, For this coming Chinese New Year (CNY 2005), yes brown is acceptable. Since brown represents wood. And the green in this sector is also OK; since both green and brown are wood elements. Wood element is much like a tree with roots (sink-into-the-ground) to crush earth (bad #5). thus, this is acceptable. This is based on the "destructive" cycle of the Five elements where wood destroys or crush earth element. Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-5element.htm Recommendations: 1. For this coming CNY, should remove the red mat since red can fuel earth element or inflame it. Thus the alternative is to usea blue mat. Here, water helps to draw-…

Dear Alice, Please always remember that true feng shui does not really need to use any items. The best way to harmonise the environment is not by putting all sorts of 'feng shui items' but rather to ensure that:- 1. You fit the environment based on suitability. 2. Colours scheme of the home/decor/car fits your element so as to gain as much luck as possible. 3. Placement of furnitures such that there is no posion arrows etc. You will find that if you follow the above, it does a lot more wonders than just using any particular items. Of course, such items if it makes you feel good, then no harm in putting it. This is because the Human Luck (whatever makes you feel good…

Dear Pam, Generally, in terms of shapes and form, it does not matter as much as how sharp the bend is. Any such curve bend, it is better if you are located inside the bend (ie on the opposite side of b for example), rather than outside. This is because a bend will look as if it is like a knife cutting or radiating outwards. These three houses (a), (b) or (c) will all suffer the knife cuting effect. All are not as ideal houses if you have a choice. That is why, I mentioned that at first look, it does not look good. This is because it is like the road cut out to the houses. Especially so with that corner house. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET …

Dear Pam, I really can't get a good look at the picture. Only could see a little bit of the roof, not even sure what colour of the roof. If blue/gray, not very ideal colour for roof. As it blue/gray represents water element, and in I-Ching water usually represents difficulty. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Hi Anon, There are no such mircale items that can help you. Most of these items are created with the intention to make money. So they will of course tell you it is best you buy this item to protect yourself. However, these items does not come with a guarentee/warrenty card that say that if you use it, you will sure to be protected. The best way in our view, is as what we have been always been asking users to do. Enhance whatever element that you lack through, colours ofclothes/car/bedroom, a favourable career, house etc. If you can have as many areas of your life with more favourable element, this will help you reduce any inauspicious influence or impact for that year. …

Dear Tomo, Eight House can be applied no matter how small or large the house is. The only question you will have to ask is it useful to divide the house for any analysis anymore. In this case, the analysis such as finding which sector of the house is good for what is no longer useful. However, the directions where you can place the desk or bed position will still be useful. ie facing North direction is your longevity so this should be where your head is for sleeping. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, 1. For any new house purchase, it is always good to bring all family members to view the site to get an overall feeling of the place. 2. Under Flying star Feng Shui, currently NE facing homes have a better Feng Shui advantage as it is generally considered a better facing direction than some other facing directions. 3. For the Eight House theory, it is always favourable if the apartment fits the breadwinner. It is quite common both either spouse to be "opposites" east or west group. Although this is a consideration, other factors such as the Shapes and Forms and the Compass School - Flying star should also be considered. 4. As to whether to commit to purchas…

Dear Anon, Hopefully, if the neighbour's ba gua mirror is quite a distance away, the further the better for your home. If it is not aimed at your balcony or if you have reflective glass e.g. tinted glass, it can act to reflect back the ba gua mirror if the choice is not to hang a mirror to counter the neighbour's. Frankly, not sure why the neighbour hung the ba gua mirror. Does many of your units in your block has sharp edges "cutting" the neighbour's units? Warmest Regards, Cecil

Thanks Cecil. Drier skin isn't something I had thought of. I'll check into it. I've also heard that some people use copper or other metals to help with these types of things, but I can't find which kind to try. The shocks are quite bad (and painful). Grounding does help but isn't always easy to do (esp when petting an animal). Food is another interesting one. I'll start keeping track of when the shocks get worse. Thanks, MaryAnne

Dear Oliv, Under the Holy Trinity of Geomancy: 1. Heaven Luck - what is given to us 2. Earth Luck - Feng Shui 3. Human (man-luck) - human relationship factors and psychology Most of it, I would personally think would fall under Human (man-luck)! It is about firstly, -- our feelings... As you had written, one may feel quite uncomfortable or some "worries" of whether it can or cannot affect Feng Shui Another is about "face" or for the Chinese "prestige". A half-painted house that is left halfway unpainted for sometime could imply that symbolically or we are in "financial difficulties". I know some of us don't care "too-hoots" what the neighbour(s) say! But, all these d…

Dear Oliv Sillivan, To avoid lawsuits, you have to check out where is the Lu Chun Xing (Star 3 - Wood) under the flying star analysis. If there are such stars present in areas such as your main door, frontage, bedroom or study room which you use. These are the stars you want to neutralise so as to reduce any such lawsuits/conflicts. The solution is to have more Metal.Fire is also possible so long as there is no Star 2/5 present. These are the stars normally associated with the Lawsuit issues. However, beside that, we always advise users to do a full assessment of your home, check out whether there are any major leaks such as:- 1. House is death / disaster to the occup…

Dear Sophia, Generally, (or very generally), yes, south represents the fire element. To side-track-a-little: And in quite alot of past forum messages, I mentioned that for a kitchen at the south, it is acceptable to have the stove face a water position. This would not be ideal -- if the kitchen is located at the north. (water location). 2. Generally speaking, wood cabinets are in harmony with the kitchen since it has fire (stove) and wood element fuels fire (stove) - in a productive cycle. You can also read up an article, I wrote for the Home Concepts magazine - the article has been extracted to the forum. Do a search perhaps for "home concept" or "home concepts"…

Dear Sophia, Please see below:- It is the belief that if one displays decorative objects (note: call them whatever one wants "wealth vase ...." etc... But really, these are only objects made by ordinary man! One of the beliefs is that if one keeps such objects, it is best always to cover the top and not let the vase be "empty". Some would place another smaller covered container to cover this "mouth" of the vase, while others could simply cover it fully with a cut-out cardboard, styrofoam etc.... In Singapore, we read of magic "stones" that can cure cancer etc... This is where such people prey older folks -- into parting with their savings! Therefore, all of us s…

Dear Kathelyne Feng Shui has many distinctive flavours: 1. Poison arrows 2. Commonsense approach to Feng Shui 1. Poison arrows These are issues that cause issues such as sharp corners etc... 2. Commonsense approach to Feng Shui What you had mentioned i.e. a bedroom above a kitchen has more to do with "commonsense". This is because,(usually) thereseems to be a higher probability of a fire starting in a kitchen then anywhere else. And because of this, some would thus feel that having abedroom above the kitchen not a good idea! However, frankly a fire can be started anywhere else in a home such as carelessly leaving behind a lighted cigarette butt or ash etc... 3. …

And my marriage is an international marriage. My future spouse is a Japanese and I am Singaporean. If I would like to check if this date is suitable for both of us(me & my future spouse), how can I do it through you? How much do you charge ? Hope to hear from you soon! Thanks ! Regards.
