Dear Laura, Usually, the only issues with mirror is that it can bounce luck out. So if you place mirror directly where the window is, you actually bounce the Qi out before it have the opportunity to circulate into the home. As for what are the tips available, each home is quite unique, so quite difficult to tell you what you should be doing to maximise the arrangemet of your furniture. The best tip I can advice, is make use of our free online reports such as the Ba Zi (element), Eight House. Ba Zi report - can tell you what elements you lack, so this can give you some idea what colours are good for each room etc. Eight House - can help you arrange the bed posit…

Hi Carmen, Spook and Irritation are considered acceptable in most case. It is even worse if the room is in the death or disaster sector. If the house is suitable to your husband (assuming he is the breadwinner for the house), then this isn't a big issue, as he will be obtaining his luck from the house. This will offset the slightly less suitable bedroom. It is almost impossible to get a home with 100% zero flaws. There is bound to be some slight flaws here and there. As long as you fix up and correct all other flaws that can be corrected, it will reduce any impact from the slight flaw in one concept. So fix up all other flaws in the home and enhance your own persona…

HiHwee Ling, Generally, this is some signs of personal intuition that maybe at work. Most of time, when someone very close or something bad or unsual is about to work, most people have this eye twitching feature. This could be some kind of warning that something may be going on. Everyone has some form of personal intuition or 6th sense that can give you advance warning. So this could be one of the kind of signs. Alternatively, it may be nothing except that your eyes are irritated. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET- Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Elena, In terms of Feng Shui, the main concern is also on "landslides". Homes that are too high on a hill may pose a concern especially either through erosion of surrounding slopes or heavy (or exceptionally heavy rainfall). Because of this, this is why homes that are on top of slopes should be looked at carefully when one is considering purchasing such a home. Often, of course, a site survey has to be done but generally, many rich people have purchased homes at the middle of the hill area i.e. they are not so steep but at a good level where even if there are some soil erosion, there is no fear of a landslide. Thus, in general, it is still ok to have a hope where…

Dear Anon, In my opinion, usually, suggestion 2 and 3 are a better solution than suggestion 1. This is because actual water is harder to maintain e.g. algae growth and it could be a hive of baterial growth if water is not changed frequently. And furthermore, since the kitchen is a balance of "hot" (fire) and "cold" (water) such a water urn could also create an imbalance at that sector. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Ramesh Ramchand, Unfortunately, suitability to a home just like the external factors of a home is the hardest or almost impossible to correct once you have purchased the house. Thus, it is important that when you are hunting for your home, you make sure these two areas are good, else there is very little you can do afterwards. The only advice here I can give you is to ensure that all other areas such as flying star of the home is corrected, enhance your own individual ba zi, and ensure that at least you have a suitable bedroom location to help offset the adverse impact of the unsuitable house. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for …

Edited by Robert: Frankly the many many questions here would make this more of a Full consultation than a simple Free advice. Master Cecil and Master Lee Iam male, 1969. According to your Free Personal Ba Zi Element Report,I amWeak Wood, and require Water (most fav) and Wood (fav) In my BaZi,3 metal elements, 2 Fire, 1 Water, 1 Earth, 1 Wood. Quite balanced. But, a Geomancer told me I lack Water. My strong metal elements are indicative of my high IQ (more than 156, more than qualified for MENSA, already one of top IQ in the world) I am aware of your advice that Earth Luck is more important than Human Luck, so the office and home environment Elements is more important…

Hi Adeline, Glad that you enjoyed our website. Firstly, this year is a Metal Rooster in a Wood Year. So the main influence is the Wood year influence. The element that your self element (Strong metal) destroys is your wealth. ie Metal destroy Wood, thus Wood is your wealth element. Given you are a Strong Metal, you will be able to benefit from this year. So it becomes auspicious for you. As a Strong metal, water helps to exhaust your excess Metal, while Fire also destroy your metal to reduce the excess Metal. So Water, Wood & Fire are all favourable for you. So this year will automatically be a good year for you. So if you plan to do anything important this would…

Hi Anon, I believe it that is refering to the Flying Star concept. There is a description which is quite similiar, Up mountain and Down Mountain. So 7 Up could refer to Number 7 Star in the Up mountain or 7 Star in the Down mountain configuration. Up mountain and Down mountain simply refers to where the mountain is located ether at the front or back of the house depending on the frontage. Hope that helps. Hi Anon, There is no mircle solution for helping you sell the house in terms of feng shui. The only things you can do is maybe use some of the good points about the house especially if it is feng shui friendly. You will be better off making sure that you have price the house at a correct price, and ensuring that the place is kept clean and look new (ie fresh coat of paint). Most people will like that. Also, ensure you get an agent with lots of network contacts. The more comfortable the people that come to view your house look, the more likely you will be able to sell the place. That is about the best advise you can follow. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee…

Dear Song Kin San, Frankly, you can choose any of the 4 good directions. It does not really matter which belongs to which direction as best or not. As long as you sit face one of your good direction, you will enjoy luck from your suitable direction. Of course, we try to assoicate which type of sector is best for which. So for bedroom or sleeping position, obviously it is best for the health or longevity. However, it won't be wrong even if you choose to have your bed facing prosperity etc. Hope that helps. Hi Anon, Since most objects are defined by the colour, if you have nearly all items in your home not favouring you it is quite difficult to say change everything. Probably, change whatever you can, for example re-painting the rooms would be cheaper than repainting the car. So whatever you can change without costing too much money go ahead and do it first, those which you cannot afford to change, next time when you replace it then change the colours etc. In addition, since this is regarding martial discord, probably it will be a good ideal to seek counselling (non-feng shui method) to attempt to find out what's wrong in the relationship. I mean in terms of relationship, …

Hi Lynn, Eight House concept is all about suitability. There is really nothing you can do if a house isn't suitable to you except not to buy or stay in such a house. This is because even if a house is good, but if it does not suit you, it is like saying you can only obtain 25-50% of the luck from the house. So what is the point of buying such a house. The only thing I can say here is that if you are not the breadwinner of the house, then it is not as bad. This is because the breadwinner's suitability to the house is more important than the family members staying in the same home. However, if possible, you should try to avoid such a unsuitable house. Especially if it fac…

Hi Anon, For Eight House, this kind of opposite situations are quite common. Here is where you must apply the give and take approach. For example, the house should best fit the breadwinner earning most for the entire family. While the bedrooms should be suitable to other family members that will be staying there. So for example, if the breadwinner gets a Prosperity facing, even if he gets a lesser suitable bedroom ie spook / irritation, this should be fine. The breadwinner should then give the spouse a better room ie Health. That means that even if the spouse isn't that suitable to the house, she will draw luck from the more suitable bedroom. Other areas, you mu…

Hi Diana, For choice of tomb, you will have to use shapes and forms concept to determine which part of the land would be better. Probably, look out for like the Four Symbolic animals, where is the tortise protection, where is the open area, and many other shapes and form concept like water position, mountain position etc. Those are more important in the choice of a tomb location. The Eight House suitability isn't used for the dead, it is a concept for the living. Probably best, here to get someone who does tomb location geomancer as they can better advise you which is better position. Hope that helps. Dear Knight Elliott, Regarding the toilet in the center, unfortunately, there isn't much you can do unless you can move the toilet position to another location. The only thing you can do is keep the toilet door close and toilet seat cover down when not in use. Try to fix up other areas in your home that is fixable to increase luck from other areas so as to compensate for this flaw. Probably the corner from the wall would be the thing you should worry more. It is hard for me to tell you how you can block it, some suggestions would be if you can have some form of partition blocking the qi shi at the main door or some plants at the corner to break the shape of the poison a…

Piyao

I understand that the pair of Piyao should be placed in the east sector of the home and with the head facing between 262.5 degrees and 277.5 degrees. Presently, that is how I place them in my home. However, when I visited astore selling fengshuiitems yesterday and chatted with the sales assistant, I was appalled to betoldthat the Piyao should be placed in the west sector and facing the 15 degrees radius. The sales assistant said it mustnot beplaced in the eastsector because it is the illness sector. I am very confused because some fengshui websites said it should be placed in the east sector facing west. What is your advice please? Thank you very much

I am a GEN type. I moved into a new house a year and half ago career has since suffered badly. Seems that my house is facing SE2 and this is very bad (see attached PDF). I cannot shift my main door. Could I use an alternate entrance instead to fix the problem or should I consider selling the house. Advise sought.

Dear Master Lee, Recently I came across this condo in Woodlands, called CasaBlanca. I looked through your property review but did not managed to find this project in your review. I kind of like this project ( unit no. 22 ) and have attached the plan for your review. I'm a newbie in Fengshui and I've a hard time figuring out the facing of this unit. Hope you can enlighten me. Thanks and Regards Anthony

Dear Jill, Most importantly, if a new condo has been developed (and nearly ready) e.g. waiting for TOP and if we are allowed entry , it is best to bring all family members along to view the unit. Especially try to view the unit in the afternoon e.g. 3 or 4pm to check whether it is affected by the afternoon sun. Do note that because of the earth's axis tilt, there can be a slight shift in the sun's rays every six-months. Units that "soak" in lots of heat ... are practically "unliveable" as it may result in frequent quarrels and also it is not practical or cost effect to turn on the air-con unit all the time. The "rule-of-thumb" usually sets in. Often, needless to say, …
