Dear Anon, Flying Star imbalances must be corrected regardless of what element you may be. After you work in the cure for the sector, then you can work on creating the necessary influence for you and your husband. For a Strong Earth and Strong Metal person, you will need to have Water (blue/black/gray) and Wood (green/brown) elements to keep the Strong Earth and Strong Metal in check. Once a cure is placed, just focus on other decoration in the room to ensure that they are favourable to both of you. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research.

Dear Anon, To be truly honest, it is best for you to consider seeking professional FS advise on this. This is because even for the kitchen, considerations like which part (compass direction) is the kitchen located. For the kitchen, things like certain locations e.g. NW (fire at heaven's gate), kitchen fitting the spouse etc.. have to be considered. Thus, it may sound simple, but these are some of the issues. If no major renovation is done, things like placing mirror(s) in the kitchen are some of the alternatives, used. Besides this, the kitchen may or may not be the direct or major cause of the problem(s). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Hoa Luong, Before one thinks that it is so easy to activate MS#9, please think again as this # cannot work alone. Rather than like many people who make a mistake of enhancing.. one should instead see if there is a leak. If so? Then, fix the leak!, First! There are so many various combinations. It is not possible for me to list out all the combinations. Just a few sample which I can think off: MS#9 with WS#7 For this type of combination (also please take not of the base / palace number. Here, it would be wishful thinking to enhance it. Rather, especially if there is also a #2 or #5 base, jolly well fix the leak e.g. use water element. If MS#9 with WS#3 Since wat…

Dear Winnie, As you had mentioned or "suspected" earlier that not all homes at a cul-de-sac are inauspicious. As mentioned in my previous message, "It Depends". Since no two homes are often the same, the type of curve, traffic flow around the cul-de-sac and even issues like how water flows (into the home if any or how water flows out of the house) are also important. Similiarly, I also mentioned that things like the main entrance in relation to the cul-de-sac is equally important. Other factors include the facing direction of the home. This is determined using Flying Star Feng Shui to look at the period the house was built, born or had a major renovation. How suitabl…

Dear Sophia, Yes, so far, I have seen many people who had placed a micro-wave next to the refridgerator and even opposite it. If one sees the productive cycle flow of the five elements, metal supports water, this is a productive cycle. Thus no issue. It is not like water destroys fire under the destructive cycle flow. Which is often considered not auspicious. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, If we compare this plant's thorn's they are considered as "pussy-cat" thorns that are real soft and nothing quite like those of the cactus or rose etc... In terms of Feng Shui for a landed property; plants with thorns are actually quite common place especially at external wall windows or at corners of home to deter thieves from climbing into the home. Thus the thorns of the aloe vera seems so mild as it is part of the skin covering the white liquid gel contained within. In my opinion, pose no harm at all. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Edited by Robert Lee: Please note that firstly this belongs more to a Can or Cannot buy House Hunting or a Full Audit service rather than a simple free advice question. It is difficult to make any comments on whether it good or not except that it might have some missing cornersatSouth-West corner of the house if I read the compass direction correctly. Dear Master Lee, Wishing you a Happy and Prosperous Rooster Year !! I've purchased a unit at Blue Horizon (attached the unit (with circle)layout), appreciate your professional advise on the fengshui for the unit. I'm born on 4 Sep 66. Really appreciate your advise. Best regards, Sindy

Dear Anthony, Each person ba zi is unique. When what stars occurs will have different influence an impact. So not possible to just explain what each influence will be as each stars also have to depends in the Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branches of each pillar. Generally, for such stars, the most useful of which are the Nobleman, Arts, Academicstars which are what most people will look for to tell you if a person is very fortunate or not. This is because, the presence of such stars especially nobleman will mean that this person is extremely fortunate as no matter what happens always people will be around to help him/her when in need. Some of the other stars such as death…

Hi Cecil Following your advice to fly our house to Period 8, we had repainted our house early this year and invited the lion dance troupe to perform at our house on the 6th day of the chinese lunar new year. When will we usually be able to see the effects?

Dear Rose, If one is applying Ba Zi to look at how suitable a job is, then it depends on one's birth element and strength. Ba Zi will determine e.g. weak or strong earth Then with this information, it will come out with: Career associated with wealth Career associated with power and authority Careers that are suitable, but not leading to great wealth These are the guidlines that a ba zi analysis can provide on the above. Since no two person's ba zi are identical, it thus depends on one's element and strength: strong/weak : metal , water, wood, fire, earth element(s). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Your question reminds one of the state regulations in Singapore. Where, we are only allowed to display the national flag prior to national day and must take it down within a reasonable date after the national day is over e.g. 1 month, later. Unlike in the US, where one can display the a reasonably good condition flag all year round. In your question, it would certainly make or sense to celebrate Chinese New Year (CNY) with the decorations. But after 15 days or slightly longer, it would not make much sense to display the decorations -- other than some Chinese continue to hang a red banner "Ang chai" all year round above their door. Once CNY is over, it is bes…

Dear Anon, Frankly, there is no hard-and-fast rule, here. So long as the object is still in good or reasonable condition, they can always be reused at another location. No issue. Warmest Regards, Cecil

I have just begun to learn Feng Shui. I know nothing but what I feel and what happens. My life has been plagued by bad luck with relationships. I am a black rabbit born in a white rabbit year. Maybe that is why. I married a few years ago. My husband and I are both twos (but I don't understand the significance of that.) My husband tells me that he has had lack of desire for many years. It was not so bad in the beginning, but it is very bad now. I am sad and feel unloved. We are building a new house with our bedroom in the north northwest corner of the house with a west facing sliding door and a north facing window. I really want more passion in my life, and I want my hu…

Dear Fenger, 1. The design of a company logo is based on the Five Elements concept. Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-5element.htm 2. Number of colors for the logo: Ideally, based on the Five elements concept, the company logo should have three colors. This applies to the company signage, also Here, three means progress. While two (colors) represents stagnation 3. Often, if the business is in an industry; then the company logo should preferably be designed to suit the industry. But often, it started off by designing a logo that suits the "person" or partnership. 4. For example, when you mentioned that you are an earth element: one has to be s…

Thank you so much for your answer, so it seems that it would not be so harmless if I do make the fountain here, but when I am standing inside looking out (east), this fountain would actually be to my left hand side in the NE corner, what would be the implications now. Thanks again , Maria

Dear PG Tan, Please note that flying star though only uses numbers, has lots of theories and concepts. As such for one to truely know how to read the information, you will need to really take an indepth course on the flying star itself to fully understand how the interactions of each numbers will mean in different sectors. There isn't going to be any easy way to explain it. This is why on our website, we already provided the free flying star analysis whereby the key stars to take note are already colour coded so that you can tell whether a star is good or bad. For detailed, analysis, we have the paid version of the flying star which does all the analysis for you. In an…

Dear Master Cecil What about if NW is the living room and has MS3 WS2 BS8, the bad #5 yellow that you mentioned at this sector will further worsen by the #3 & #2. What should I do to neutralise this sector, given that this house is a Sum-of-Ten house? Thank you very much for your kind help. Best Regards Emily Yahoo! Dear Anon, In my opinion, there is really no issue with the red stain. Symbollically, instead, one should not use a cracked &/orchipped Hulu. Thus what you had mentioned is perfectly OK. Can still be used. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Frankly, I am not too sure how indepth the practitioner had advised your friend. Most commonly, both Shapes and Forms as well as Compass School Feng Shui is applied to a home. Thus Shapes and Forms Feng Shui does not involve time dimension. So does Eight House Theory of the Compass School Feng Shui. Usually, if Flying star Feng Shui is applied, the majority of practitioners would apply firstly the 20 Year Flying Star chart for a given home. As the above name suggests it is a " 20 Year Flying Star " of a home which consists of three variables such as Mountain#, Water# and Base #. These three total 3 variables to balance overall for a home. And a 20 Year F…

Dear Cecil Lee, I am considering getting a real Wu Lou to be place in my bedroom. I've came across 2 types ofreal Wu Lou, one which comes as an original "whole piece" with no openings at the tip of the Wu Lou. The other type are those with their tip cut open and there's a piece of red cloth being attached to the tip. Are there any difference between these 2 types of real Wu Lou?Should we get those that comes togetheras a "whole piece" without any opening at the tip? Regards
