Dear ashwini, For the installation of chiming clocks, it is best to use it at locations that has a cluster of bad Flying star numbers. For example, it can be used independently if one sector has either one #5 or #5 combined with other bad stars like #2, or #3 or #4. For the centre of the home where the three doors are aligned. There is no issue with a wind chime there. But in my opinion, it is more "cosmetic" than effective. But if it does help to "calm the nerves" by all means. Since many of our uncomfort is due to "worring too much". Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear CJ See & all other paid flying star users, I am using this posting to explain to all users who seems to have this confusion about the flying star. 1. Everyone should remember, that the flying star analysis from our website, gives you the analysis of the period based on the year the building was built. ie. If a house is built in period 7 (1984-2003), it means that it should show you a chart that is based on a period 7 20-year house chart. ie. If a house is built in period 6 (1964-1983), it means that it should show you a chart that is based on a period 6 20-year house chart. 2. What it DOES NOT do is to automatically show you the next period influence (ie now…

Dear Master Cecil, We've recently strive a small lottery and subsequently bought 7 units of different sizes of crystal point clear quartz. We have placed them together with 6 units of crystal balls in a glass display cabinet at the south location which has the flying star MS#3 B#2 and WS#1 and it is diagonally facing the main door. Will there be any good or bad effect? I have noticed someone place the crystal ball on the altar's table. Will it be advisable to do so? Thank you.

Dear Russ, 1. The start of the Chinese Lunar New Year for 1972 is 15 Feb 1972. 2. Since your birth date falls before the Chinese Lunar New Year on 22 Jan 1972, your lunar birth date should be:- a.. Solar Calendar: 22 Jan 1972 between b.. Lunar Calendar: 1971, 12th month, 7 day, between 3. Since your Year of birth for the Eight House calculation is 1971, it will be as our website calculator has generated Gua 2. 5. Since our online calculators has been extensively tested, it is very rare that it will be calculated wrongly. So the results from our website on this issue is correct. Hope that helps. Dear Cecil, Please enlighten me on the followings: Someone told me placing iron tree(s) inside the house will cause disharmony to the family. Is there any ground for such as statement? BTW, am I right to say that iron tree still belongs to the Wood element despite its name? Thanks. Best regards, JQ

Dear Glenetta, The closest to the definition to a wealth pot is thru the use of Flying Star Feng Shui. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, one should locate the mountain star MS #8. Where appropriate, this should be the mountain wealth position i.e. which represents relationship and lottery luck. Erh, in-case, if one is totally new and never heard of Flying Star Feng Shui, then, it is best for the person to do more research into this Compass School topic. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear K T, You should try to re-access the paid online report if you had not done so. The latest version with the Executive Summary will make that period more clearly as it will try to explain potential issues you might encounter especially if clashes / harms / punishment are found. Generally, you need to know that:- 1. Clashes Clashes are the worst impact on a chart. Depending on whether there are heavenly stem such as Main Funds (Health), Wealth (Financial)or so, it might usually mean health or wealth impact. Any clash especially if found with the Day, Month & Year are considered major clashes. 2. Harms These are sort of like obstacles which you have to overco…

Dear Anon, 1. You will first have to identify where is your major leaks first. A. Is it a problem with your heaven luck (ba zi) which is in a very bad 10-year/5-year/year? B. Is the problem because of your Earth Luck (house feng shui)? The reason I ask this is because unless you know where the problem is from, it is hard for anyone to advice you on what you can do. 2. If it is your ba zi, then it could mean that say if you are a weak Wood person, you have nearly everything in your live which is against you, ie a unfavourable element house (ie Metal - West facing house), a career such as Metal (Finance), and very bad ba zi luck period. If this is the case, then yo…

Hi Anon, Generally, for Eight House concept, you have to apply them as follows especially for two person with completely oppose charts:- 1. Usually you try to ensure that the breadwinner (the head of the house), has a suitable house facing direction. 2. The spouse should next be given a better direction given that the breadwinner now has a better house suitability. 3. The bed position should still be placed based on the shapes and form placement ie the bed should be placed such that you can see the main door and window. This should be ideal position. 4. Only when the above conditions are met, then you can fine tune the sleeping position if possible. Sometimes this is…

Dear Anon, In Feng Shui, we should often look at the "bigger" picture of things. A bed frame can be made of wood or metal; often this does not really matter. In fact, it does not really matter if the bed frame is made of different types of wood - so long as they can "last" or worth the amount it is being paid for. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Mitesh, To be truly honest, this has more to do with relationships, then Feng Shui. From my opinon, usually, if a relationship has carried on for more than 3 years, sometimes, maybe things got taken for granted or "turned dull". It is best that you discuss especially with someone close what could have gone wrong. Or alternatively see if you can first understand what really made you leave her. It takes two hands to clap and often even if there is a third party, there is usually a trigger point for her to just leave you. If she still loves you, perhaps, as mentioned above, see what went wrong and if possible try to win her over again. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Master Lee, I have a question that despite my searching, have never quite found an answer for and I am hoping you can help me. My apartment is supplied by my employer and it sits on a hill in an urban area. My front door faces Northwest and my back door to my terrace opens in the South area and the back wall of my living room is made entirely of windows facing the Southeast. My bedroomdoor is trueWest and the back window is trueEast. I was born on 7/22/57 at 11:33 am and my husband was born on 8/5/66 at 6:38. Is there anything I can do to remedy my apartment being exposed such as it is? I also live on the top floor. I hope I supplied enough information and would …

Dear Ling Ling, Please see below:- Often if no screen or partition is used, simply closing that particular window is ok. But if the window is left open, then a blind could be "poor alternative". Avoid bright yellow or cream or beige especially in the bedroom or bright red or pink in the master bedroom. This could be the colour of the walls or curtains or bedsheet.

Dear Vincent, I would agree with you that central palace could most likely still be a Period 7 especially if there is no major renovations done on or after CNY 2004. For example, if you had not done any major renovations or if the existing owners did not do any major renovations; or if there are no major renovations done on the external also, then normally it is best to consider your home as a Period 7. However, after taking over the apartment this year, if you had done a major renovation, then your apartment can be considered as a Period 8. In my opinion, if you did not do a major renovation, it should be considered as a Period 7 analysis. Early this year, there we…

Dear Mitesh, To be truly honest, it is best that you confide your problem with a close family member or even a friend. Especially at this time of need. Or do seek help from a voluntary org. in your country. Generally, many of us do encounter relationship problems and as mentioned above, try to confide in someone to hear your problems. Take care! Cecil

Dear Anon, In my opinion, this can be quite "tricky". For example, if it involves a major renovation to get the entire basement upgraded, there is a likely chance that your home can change to period 8. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Unless the back of the house is the frontage, if not there is often no significance attached to it. Warmest Regards, Cecil
