Dear Mr Lee I have recently started with the FS subject. I know now that my house does not really support me. Relationships/friendships going..going and gone! Never to return. Health: battling with colon and diet habits. Money:..a bit better but stagnant. In fact the company will be going through a retrenchment exercise in the very near future (next 4 weeks). I have been sleeping with my head facing west for the last 4 years.( Sometimes NW as I turn around in my sleep) The toilet, although not opening in the entrance hall, is next to front door. I understand that for this year, it is best not to sit facing Southwest since the Grand Duke is located there. However, if in my working place, I have no choice but to sit facing the Southwest direction, what can I do to remedy this situation? My kua is considered 8 (actually 5, but for female, it should be read as 8).

Dear Jen, If this is just a small plant and a one-time activity, it’s fine to do. Unless it’s something that will go on for a long time—which it isn’t. I think you should go ahead. Some people suggest putting a piece of metal between this area and your home, but I don’t think it’s needed. As long as you do it yourself, it’s OK. Don’t bring in bulldozers, that wouldn’t be good. I am replacing the floor in my bedroom. Originally I intended to put a wooden floor down. However then I heard that wooden floors sapped the energy of dragons, of which I am one. I dont particularly want to tile the floor. I would like to know If a fake laminate would be okay or if I could put a real wooden floor down and cover the area beneath my bed with a fabric. I cannot have carpet as I have a dust mite allergy

Dear Fiona, In my opinion, symbollically one can change or replace 6 to 8 tiles. Yes, while doing so, try to allow light into the upper floor where the roof is. One can remove this ceiling board and replace this old one once this is done. No need to replace a new one. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Master Lee, I have bought 6 smooth crystal balls to place in the NE sector this year.The crystal ball I bought has a flat area for it to stand, otherwise it is really round except that area where it has to stand. Dear Anon, The situation you faced is often very common. This is because one must understand: 1. The Tong Shu dates are often very general advise. Since it is not customised to the couple(s). 2. Many Feng Shui practitioners look into the couple's ba zi to see if the date is suitable for both (or not). 3. In addition, it is good to check whether the date is suitable for the parents and parents-in-law. If not, one way is to wear some colour(s) that is favourable to their ba zi. 4. Dear Mr.Cecil Lee We currently live in a period 7 house, and the main door facing E2. My husband was born on sept.17, 1960. Now we are in period 8, would this house become very unlucky to us? I bought the report on home flying star analysis from you and I become confused. Dear Chee Foo, Please see below:- Since your flat is so high, you should take North as the facing direction. Frankly, for a standalone (landed property) home, it is much easier to fly over the new period. Since for the landed property, removing some of the roof-tiles and replacing them (plus cleaning the rest) would help. In my opinion, since we are just begining to change qi, it is better to do what is mentioned by you, perferably one or two months later rather than during this interim `cut-off' period. Dear Fiona, Yes, it is OK to change the ground floor roof tiles. But, where possible, it should not leave the altar exposed as this is considered inauspicious (symbollically disrespectful to the "gods"). If the roof tiles on the second floor is dirty, than, this can be included as part of the means to try to fly to the next period. Warmest Regards, Cecil
