Dear Anon, In Feng Shui practise, if your office table is in a position to look out to a corridor or an open window into the rest of the office area, one may consider a pair of dragon figurines aimed outwards. Note: that this is not always applicable to everyone. There is a difference between Weak or Strong Earth element as shown below:- Birth Element: Weak Earth Favourable Element/Colour: Fire (red), Earth (yellow) Unfavourable Element/Colour: Wood (green/brown), Metal (white/gold) Wealth Element/Colour: Water (blue/black/gray) NOTE: Wealth element auspicious only if you are a Strong Earth, otherwise it will bring you lots of problem Birth Element: Strong Earth …

Judith L. wrote: Hello again, Masters Lee! Three questions this time, I hope I am not trying your patience so much. I am doing prework for my planned paid report order by checking flying stars for my period 6 house based on the door that might be the best to use for the year, prior to getting a paid report for which direction seems favorable. (I am sorry about doing all this pre-work myself as I can only afford one report due to a really terrible year last year. And I really mean terrible) 1. Am I doing this right? Do the mountain and water stars really change based on which door I am indicating on the FS Report tool? Yes, each chart has a different set of m…

Dear Aj, 1. It is very difficult to reply to all your queries in just one email. 2. I believe the following are key issues: 2.1 There are macro and micro Feng Shui considerations. In macro Feng Shui, we look at large areas such as a suitable location to build a city. For example, the city of Canton in China was found to have good Feng Shui. In general, it is good for housing to be sited in this city. Other macro considerations are plots of land. For example, condominium projects that have good shapes and forms generally benefit many people. 2.2 What I am trying to `impy' in the above is that macro FS is far more important than say the interior layout of the building. I am…

Dear Wendy, 1. Thank you for bringing up an interesting question. 2. It is also related to complexities of the human beings. Here, our up bringing and `tolerance' comes to play. And as we are aware, each of us vary in this aspect. 3. On a commonsense approach to Feng Shui, if we happen to live in an apartment, it is always preferred to have our main door at a private area. As opposed to facing a neighbours (more from a privacy issue). 4. But, let's say our neighours are the `untidy' sort and leave their shoes scattered around the common enclosed space. Sometimes even end up at our door steps. 5. Some of us may be tolerant, while others may not. Some neighbours are noisy …

Dear Anon, It is more fruitful therefore to re-string it to a 6 rod wind chime. Usually, if your house is a period 7 house; and since this is just after the new Lunar year, the year in question especially East no longer has #5 while South no longer has #2 (although there may be other numbers). Given this, some homes (depending on the flying star at the specific sector) may no longer has two #5's in some homes. (Although some homes may still have two #5's or #5 misfortune/sickness with #2 sickness). For those homes that does not have two #5's (or #5 with #2) then, the influence at this sector will get better during this year (unless #5 or #2 flies in to that specific …

1. Thanks for the re-upload of layout plan. 2. For practical purposes in applying a template onto your home layout out plan, please see attachment. The rationale for the centrepoint as shown in the attachment is that the home is nto particularly huge to warrant drawing two separate rectangles and later to use the template for Flying star and eight house purpose. 3. The best way to look at it is to consider the outline of the 2nd storey layout plan to determine the centrepoint of the home. Since this layout plan has less indentations and protrusions. 4. In your sketch, I believe the ground floor and 2nd storey should have the same outline. As in your sketch, the 2nd …

Dear Dana, In my opinion, if it is a small table fountain, then you can safely consider it as a decorative piece. However, avoid placing it at or close to the centre-point of the house. You can place it e.g. at a corner particularly at the frontage of the house. For example, if you are living in a flat/condominium, it should preferably be placed in the living room closer to the balcony. This is similar also to placement for landed properties. Try to avoid placing it at the center areas of the house. Warmest Regards, Cecil Lee

Dear Tonya, Usually, in selecting the home, emphasis must be placed on several *IMPORTANT* factors: 1. You should try to evaluate each house and their Shapes and Form. It is not good if the facing direction of the door is a good direction for you or your husband but subsequently, there is a major flaw in the Shapes and Form of the house. 2. Flying Star. There is an optional report under www.geomancy-online.com where it will advise you on all 24 directions of the Flying Star in relation to your Eight house. The Flying Star analysis tries to find a house with a good `Birth chart'. While the Eight house is to determine how suitable the house is to you. 3. Thus it is not so s…

Dear Sarah, Thanks for bring up an interesting point. Yes, usually the question that it (slanted roof) is considered `inauspicious' has been brought up. But not how much `damage' it may cause. In my opinion, an overhead beam would be more inauspicious then say a slanted roof. I have audited several homes with slanted roof ranging from it in the bedroom area to the study room. Some of the rooms have the slanted roof away from the bed or study. While some rooms have it away from the study (chair area where one sits). Based on my personal experience; I feel that: 1. it depends on whether how long one spents at the sector (with the slopping ceiling). 2. if for example, the be…

Dear Gordy, Yes, I personally feel that your comments are appropriate. Try to see if anything can be done to remove the large tree trunk. The 50 metres distance is considered very close proximity plus since it is visible from your home, the best to see if it can be removed, ASAP. The other alternative is: "If it is if it cannot be seen, it is no longer a threat". Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Seco, Plants and flowers in general, no matter whether they are have thorns or not, are geneally good. It is always nice to have some greenery, or nice looking or smelling plants to liven up the place. Anyway, even for thorns are quite small, a few of them will not create a massive sha qi. Thus, it should be no problems to have roses in that area. Furthermore, you already have put up some Metal cures which should be enough to neutralise the sector. Hope that helps. Dear Hoa Luong, Hoa Luong wrote: In the year 2007, the Grand Duke will sit in N-NW 330 deg, and the location in conflict is West. Does this mean that Ishould notdo any digging in the N-NW 330 deglocation or the Eastlocation of my property? Yes, that is correct. The Grand Duke has a greater impact so N-NW must be avoided where possible. Location in Conflict is the disagreement or incompatiblity of the Animal Signs type of location, so have a lesser impact. So if can avoid, you should avoid any renovations in either these two sectors. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center Applied Feng Shui Research.

Hi Cecil, Based on my luck pillar, I am entering the wealth phase of my life.Is there anything that I need to prepare in order to receive the wealth that I am entitled to? Secondly I realized after getting the red wallet plus wearing myfavorablecolors (black or pink), I am getting lucky based on the 4d that I buy i.e if i buy 9498 it will open 8949...its kinda telling me that I am close but I still need to do a bit more to push that luck to me... What should I do here? Should I get more red accessories or black accessories??? Strangely, me being a strong metal person, if I wore a white shirt to buy 4d I can almost expect the number not to open and again donate my money t…

Dear Anon, You should apply the concept: "If it cannot no longer be seen, it is no longer a threat". Here, the best way to deal with it is to use e.g. blinds or curtains (to block the view). If you use curtains, you can have two layers e.g. a day curtain and a night curtain. As you had mentioned that you have a blind, although it would be great (Or nice to have) a view of the outside, if the poison arrow is aimed directly towards the window, it is still best to close it or use the blind to reflect out the poison arrow -- best to forgo the view in such a situation. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Per, In my opinion, for a small that is shared for livingrm cum office cum bedroom, more importantly the placement of the various furnitures. And avoid `clutter' where possible. Under Feng Shui, the most appropriate concept used here is the Yin and Yang concept. Where, there should be a `balance'. In moments of rest (sleep), a more conducive yin environment is good. But while working, too conducive of such a yin environment is not favourable. I believe, that your room should have a window. And, depending on the direction also i.e. if the window area faces directly west, then, it may be quite hot (depending on your country - season). Overall, try your best to balance…

He has made a sketch of the house but it is not a full square shape. It has corners missing and I'm afraid this may not be good feng shui. There isn't going to be a single book that can tell you everything that you should look our for when you build a house. A home is unique and different depending on the location. However, if you…
