Hi Cecil Happen to surf yr web and read it with interests. Bought EC Bishan Loft in Yr 2001 and recently TOP in mid Oct. I am a North West Man and my main door is facing North East which falls in the 4 good directions. Except that my master bedroom and two other bedrooms are getting the afternoon sun. My block is 33 and Unit is #11-07, according to your Number theory #11-07 does not seem to be very auspicious. Secondly, since my unit is #11-07, does that mean I have to move in period 7. Please advice. Thanks you.

hi Cecil! I am very confused over elements, e.g Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth Do you have a simple formula that states which element opposed to which? E.g. Water and Fire opposed. And what element enhanced it? E.g Water requires Metal? Thanks for your advice! Cheers! Esther

Dear Anon, 1. One thing for sure: Economically, it has future resale potential being in a popular/higher priced area. 2. In terms of Feng Shui, these are `point-block' type of condo. 3. And, point block condos are, in my opinion, has better qi flow and `points' of entry of qi in and out of the unit(s). 4. The major consideration is that although this is a `point block', it does not have the rectangular point block feature. A rectangular point block often has at least `three-points' of qi flow e.g. balcony, various bedrooms and kitchen or back area. And a forth, qi flow coming from the main door. 5. But the condo does allow for exceptional length of `frontage'. 6. As for …

hi master, i have gone through your website and have learn more about FS. here are 3 questions that i will like to ask. 1) having gone through your free FS analysis, i have found out that I belong to the strong metal with favourable colours and element being blue, grey and black, and water respectively. Now the question is what does it mean by favourable element and colour? I have been to other FS website as well and the analysis showed that my luck element is fire and i am encouraged to wear red. my luck element is not equal to favourable element?? 2) in one of the discussion this month, you mentioned that a bed facing a door is not auspicious. what about a bed that is …

Dearest Robert & Cecil Lee, I have been interested in Feng Shui for many yeas, with picking up books and objects to correspond with my Kua# 4 Sun being a water Tiger sm wood and East group, having made me feel very lucky and in harmony through lots of crisis that has been around me. Unfortunately I never really thought of my husband (as he really isnt into it) Kua#8 Ken Snake sm Earth West group, and now realize we are at polar of each other. My lucky areas is his bad luck areas and vice versa. Our front door is facing NW, I have three coins tied with red ribbon on the inside, 5 metal bells on the outside of it and a Pa Kua above it. A mountain in the North faces my f…

Dear Cecil I have tried to arrange my room according to the 4 lucky directions etc. I am a Kua number 2 based on my birthday 1971. I rent a room in a bungalow and I use it as a bedroom and office. It is located as in diagram on the North/North East corner of the house. My dilemma lies in the place of the bed and desk in relation to the toilet and room door. As you can from the pic, I can only use the western wall opposite the two doors, and I have to put my bed in one corner and desk in another corner. I put the desk in the NW corner of the room (Longevity Corner for me) and pointed it NE(Prosperity for me). By Shapes and Forms school I am diagonal to the entrance door bu…

Dear Stan, In my opinion, each animal belongs to a certain set of element. For example, next year has two relationships: 1. Metal Monkey 2. in the Wood Year (2004). Under such circumstances, often, many practitioners will apply the Five elements concept to see how well the "Metal Monkey" fit or not-fit with the Wood year. And as many of are aware, the Five Elements concept is prevalent and the most applied concept, to troubleshoot or explain things (be it a year, a month etc..) But what is most interesting is that some FS practitioners perhaps, want to have "fame" and would try to predict certain events next year. If one analyse their "predictions" closely, many will ch…

Please correct me if I am wrong. I am reading both our yearly and 20-year reports. In the 20-Year report, there is only one Five Element Analysis which is Mountain vs Water. This is pretty straight forward for me and I have already applied the cures. In the Yearly report, there are 2 Five element analysis, 20-Year Star vs Year Star and Mountain Star vs Water Star. Is the 20-Year vs Year Star the one I should read for the yearly cures? Also, if the sector is inauspicious on the 20-yers report and also in the yearly report, should I double the cure? For example, my east section is being reported to be inauspicious for the 20-year report and the proposed solution is metal. I…

I am looking to repaint my bedroom but I'm not sure what would be a good color. I have a lot of water symbols already in my room and I wanted to paint it in a shade of blue or a purplish blue. Will it be bad to have this much water? If so, should I maybe try a green or something instead?

Dear Master Lee, I need some tips on the flat I just bought, will move in Mar 2004. 1) I'm a Kua no.7 , west group person. Yet, my front door faces East. It is the worst direction for a west group person. It is a total loss direction for a front door. Is there any remedy or cure for this? 2) The flat only have 1 entrance no other to enter and leave. There is a private lift that I share on the left of the main door looking from inside the house. I share this lift with 1 neighbour whose front door also faces my front door directly. How should I make sure good Chi and fortune comes into my house? 3) I'm also confused with 2 different fengshui application, Since …

Hi, I am a west group person, living in a east group house(Period 7), it is a bad mistake as I now understand. My front door faces SE1(Irritation sector), My number is 5. My Kitchen and Toilet are located in the West sector of the house - My bedroom on the upper floor has a bathroom attached to it, the location of the bathroom is in the west as well. I have been told that this was bad for me as my health could be affected by this. Is there anything I can do to fix this for me or is moving from the home my only option, due to budget restraints, I am not able to move out for another 2 years. Please help. Thank You for all your help provided in this wonderful site.

Dear Jen, A home is similar to an artist's canvas painting. It has a shape and form. And it is best to look at a home in it's entirety. Not just whether, there is clear-space "exactly at the centrepoint" or close-by. Equally important are the `air-flow' entry and exit points of a home e.g. the windows, doors etc... And all these should be seen in an entire picture i.e. the production of a layout plan. In my opinion, what you mentioned is like examining just the right side of a vehicle's car. Thus an incomplete picture. I hope you understand: With the incomplete picture given, I have to give you an incomplete answer: Dunno. In the future, if one is describing a person, ple…

Dear Robert, For 1st timers, it is best to go for a `pie-chart' 8 wedges method instead of the grid. If the home is rectangular, than the 9 grid, can easier be applied to. Flying star chart can be used to analyse a singular room or an entire home. Since your purpose is to analyse your own home, than, it is suggested that you try to find the `centre' of gravity of your home. And from this centrepoint, align the north-south compass direction to the template. For example, you can review the resources for the Eight House Chart or Template: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm The metholody is quite similar to the Flying star chart. Warmest Regards, Cecil Regards.

Dear Master Cecil: I have taken a look at the traits of the houses that are able to suck wealth from neighbors at http://www.geomancy.net/products/po-hunting/po-hunting-faq.htm I become very confused. It looks like an end house is in a receiving position for wealth from houses ahead of it at both sides. Are the corners of wealth-losing houses poison arrows pointing to the wealth-receiving house? Please help shedding light to my confusion. Thank you. Regards, Jen

Dear Rolando, Industry Analysis: ================== The object or item: lingerie belongs to the earth element or clothing industry. Company Analysis: ================= Core business: a. For the manufacturer If the core business is to design and launch new lingerie, this can be considered under Wood element. b. In your case, most likely, you are selling lingerie, than the core business is Marketing / Sales. Under this area, it is considered as a fire element. The type of colour or outlet would depend on the type of clientelle that you are considering. If you are selling `niche' market lingerie, targetted to the boutique style, than - it is best to discuss with your Interio…

Dear Pao Lee, Please see below:- Yes. In my opinion, it is `eternal' as long as one does not "fly" the home into a new period. Pay more attention to the main door. Where possible, the main door should NOT be moved or re-installed. Else, it will most likely mean, a failed exercise. If you can, try to get the contractor to:- 1. The living room floor tiles up to the main door, should be completed. 2. The main door, should be properly `seated' and not re-adjusted or reinstalled after lunar 2004. Frankly, it looks like an incomplete home. In my opinion, an incomplete home or one that is `not fit' to live in is considered as an uncompleted home. And may be furtile…

Dear Deborah, 1. Apologies, the `dog' thing was meant to be a *JOKE* Glad that you have well trained (civic minded)dogs:)) 2. Frankly, there is no hard and fast rule on what makes a perfect garden. 3. Most of the time, in-fact, it is what you and your family feel comfortable with. 4. From your description, you garden sounds lovely. This is already a plus point. 5. The other `secret' ingredient to a successful (area) is the sight of birds. Birds, like us, do appreciate good location. Hopefully, they are not king fishers or fish eating ones (especially if one rears koi fishes:) 6. Don't worry, so long as one has a passion of gardening or simply admiring or making effort to …

Dear Mr Ng, 1. Based on the information provided, I have prepared a Flying Star (Xuan Kong) chart for your home. 2. These are my findings: 2.1 In addition to what was mentioned earlier, the Flying Star chart for your home also shows another “leak” related to the time dimension. 2.2 Under your current Period 7 Flying Star chart, you have a mountain star #5 at the front of your home. This is associated with loss of money and misfortune. 2.3 Based on this Period 7 chart, it is not advisable to activate any water features in your living room or balcony area, as most of the recommended cures for this home are not from the water element. 3. For your hom…
