Dear Sandra, Sandra Liepina wrote: I was born in Latvia, Riga city in Soviet Union times. In that period our time zone was Moscow time zone. Now we use our real local time and difference is -1 hour. I would like to now what time I should use to calculate my Ba Zi chart. My birth date is 26.09.69. and birth time is 21.20 using Moscow time. The same question I have about summer light saving time. Thank you for answer. Ba Zi was actuallydesigned to be pretty forgiving, thus just from the day month and year alone, you can already get a fairly accurate analysis. The reason because the month pillar is ultimately what defines a person's luck flow and the day is what determine w…

Dear Teo Choon Seng, teo choon seng wrote: My house has a missing corner on the north-west sector. Missing corners in a home tend to be inauspicious. There is actually no real cure to correct this flaw as it is based on the external shape of the house. If it is a l…

Dear Anon, Many years back, I had written on the issue of "long houses". For example, many years back, the long house e.g in Sarawak is pretty unique and quite similar to your case. However, their long house can even be longer than the 120 ft long as you had mentioned. Yes, unfortunately, between the pie and the grid, if it is a long house than the grid method is often preferred over the pie in your case. Thus, no choice, long and thin would be the better way to analyse the home vs the pie which is difficult to apply in such a type of home. Warmest Regards, Cecil Anonymous wrote: I live in a house that is 18 ft wide and 120 ft long. When I use the Flying Star Pie me…

Dear Dharmawan, Wow! This is certainly new to me! In my opinion, I would consider this as simply "hocus-pocus" type of linkage or consideration. Imagine, if some of us were born in the year of the rabbit, then, we MUST rear rabbits? Or if we are born in the year of the tiger? How do we rear a free roaming tiger? Hmm... In addition, for many Malays especially in Singapore or Malaysia, have never touched a "dog" or had not rear one as dogs especially their saliva is considered "dirty". More importantly, I would consider this area that you had mentioned as belonging not so much as to Feng Shui (EARTH luck) of the home but rather: Human or man luck area. Here, often esp…

Dear Anthony, I hope I get your question correctly. If you are using the Luo Pan; there are many different types of Luo Pan out there. But no matter which type it is; the traditional Luo Pan has it's needle (always) pointed towards the magnetic"south" and the opposite side facing north. Warmest Regards, Cecil Anthony Lau Weng Loong wrote: Under this feng shui their is the early heaven arrangemt in luo shu & later heaven arrangement in luo shu rite. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: My main door is facing south and my apartment is not square, what is the best way I can fine the auspecious location to activate? By the way my apartment was completed in year 2000. It is really hard to advise without any layout to view what exactly you mean. However, for any of the odd shapes layout there are usually a few ways to apply feng shui:- 1. ie find the center influence of the entire layout, then treat those missing areas as missing sectors of the house or treat some of the sectors as a protrusion. 2. ie divide the layout into two portions to apply the feng shui. especially for L shaped apartments. You can find some example in…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I am sitting at a ProsperityDirection in my office but there is a pillar sharp corner facing my direction. Anonymous wrote: Just wondering howcan these be resolved? Is putting a plantat my desk to block good enough? 1. The best if you can put a partition or object (ie like a plant) to block the Sha Qi. In feng shui, when you can no longer see it, it no longer becomes a threat. 2. Some other ways if partition is not possible, is to have a circular mirror / a small dragon figuring to be placed on your desk to help deflect the poison arrow away. The first method above isbetterif possible. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOM…

Dear Hock Chuan, ong hock chuan wrote: I am a bit confuse between Birth Element and Kua Element because my Kua Element is wood while my Birth element is water. Kua element or Eight House analysis is based only on YEAR of birth. While ba zi element or Ba Zi (4 Pillars/Pillars of Destiny), calculates from the day, month, year and time of birth (if available). Eight House is typtically useful for it's suitability check, as even though it is simple it has proven time and again to provide a good suitability check assessment. However, we normally do not use the Kua element as the true birth element as only the YEAR of birth was considered. True birth element is usually assse…

As wood produce fire, will it be too strong the fire is especially 2006 is year of fire. How to overcome this. Frankly, it is not really correct for you to relate the number of earth element present in someone else chart, to add that to your own chart. It does not work that way. The number of elements in individual person chart, is used to asses whether he is weak or strong person of a particular element. ie if he is a wood…

So, for sleeping I have to have the best direction for me behind my head when laying down on my bed? It looks like you have to face in the opposite direction. Is this correct? Yes, sleeping position is where say East is Longevity, your head should point to East and your feed point opposite in the West. This is because you are sleeping so your head should be pointe…

In the U.S. it sounds similar to the chinese pronounciation, is this correct? Generally, a garage isn't really part of a house. So it can be built separately or added on, but the entry or direction of the garage will not replace the facing of the house. So it really does not matter if it is not possible to enter into the garage from a good direction. Back to …

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Could not find any discussion on traveling in different directions and how that effects us. Specifically traveling to country or a city which is in direction of ones death direction. Generally, most people do use this travelling information in this way. I mean to get from one place to another by car or plan, there can only be a certain direction you can travel. So if you follow it strictly like South is Death, that means you completely avoid South. But what if South is the only way to get to your destination? So this is not practical and that is why you do not see anyone following this strictly by the book. Furthermore, for the Eight House di…

Generally, it is not a good idea to have a mirror just at the stairs, simply because it can be a shock for people to see themselves when theyreach the top. Especially for those who are not aware that it is there. Furthermore, mirror if placed in bad sector, can sometimes bounce/create twice the bad luck. Hope that helps. Dear Ng Chiew Kiat, I believe you are trying to ask whether you can just enter the date of birth of the club in the ba zi report, am I right? Well, not really. The ba zi is for pesonal luck, you cannot use it in the same way for the establishment of a business or club. Though, it was a really good way of looking at it. But it will not work that way. You can only assess the feng shui but not the luck of the business/club/establishment. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

If there are any, you can try to reduce it by having Metal to control the sector, or Fire to exhaust the star if there are no Star 2/5. You can use th…
