1. Frankly, one should not be too unduly concerned about bunk beds, for the following reasons:- 1.1 If we sleep under a bunk bed, one will notice that it is a a large flat piece above us - usually spring and mattress. 1.2 Compare this to a real beam. A real beam is a concentrated piece, usually a supporting beam for a column or structure of a home. It is this concentred beam (usually concrete mixture with supporting steel structure) OR it could be a large wooden beam. 2. For those constantly seating or sleeping under Para 1.2 , should be concerned with. 3. Bunk beds have been around for many (many) years. And as you have mentioned Hong Kong and even in Singapore, tho…

1. Plastics are derived from petro-chemicals. Petro-chemicals is considered a "chemical" or fire element. But if the plastic is hardened like "poly-carbite" it can be considered as metal element. Much like glass or tempered glass is generally considered as metal - because of it's harden properties - if we consider the material. But, if platic(s) is molded or can be molded or injected into a wavy form then based on just the shape or profile, it can be considered as a water element. 2. Please note that if all these sounds confusing, but yet logical, then as the common saying goes: " An item can be all things to all differentpersons". 3. Cane furniture with metal frame I…

1. So sorry, this site does not use the "Fixed Template" type of "thing"."Thing" as I cannot can it Feng Shui. Anonymous wrote: I'm moving to a new home where the basement stairwell is in the Marriage/Relationships area of the house. There are five steps down, a landing with a full sized window facing north, and then..turning right... eight steps down into the basement. Do I treat it with colors and cures as the Marriage/Relationship area? Or, do I treat it as a missing part of the house?

Honestly, if you have taken a photo or managed to write it down, could have helped you to interpret the Chinese characters. Otherwise, it is anyone's guess. Anonymous wrote: Hi I do not speak Chinese and went to a Buddhist Temple and shook the bamboo sticks-chi-chi sticks and drew the number 1. does anyone know what this means? thanks.

1. Technically, the best directions and meanings:- 1.1 Excellent : In general it refers to the best direction especially if it is the main door facing direction. Can also be a good direction for work or study. 1.2 Prosperity: Ideally, the best facing direction for work or study. 1.3 Generally, Health and Longevity are often the best facing direction for bed-head. 2. However, as abedroom or home is quite small, often,"facing" oneof these four directions is consdiered good-enough! 3. Traditonally, it should be taken from the centrepoint of areasonablesized home. And unlessone's home is like a palace where the bedroom is as large as an ordinary apartment, we should take …

1. In the past, I had mentioned that we should adopt a holistic "examination" approach to"luck" and Feng Shui. 2. As you are aware, it is nearly impossible to re-locate the toilet. If so, we should instead try to "maximize" luck or neutralise futher issues (poison arrows) from other areas. 3. For example, if we are asked to answer say 4 questions out of ten within 2 hours time period. Thus, a good teacher will always remind the student to try to answer all four questions and set a limit of hour-an-hour per question. 4. Same, here, even if you want to crack your head over the wall for the toilet at the centrepoint issue, one is wasting one's time. 5. Some "minor" cures…

1. Yes, what you had mentioned is true! Even today - especially the Chinese are not immune to this! Many share the same fate with regards to filia piety issues! 2. It is a "pity" that I feel that for some of us, if we could reverse the time, may consider having a large family. Here, there is a "higher" probability that one not only "hope" for at least one or some children - to look after us or we could still stay on our own but may not worry as much with day to day finances as there is a higher chance with so many children! 3. In fact, I have seen more cases of daughters providing for or being closer to their parents then sons! As you had mentioned.. most likely cannot…

1. I don't want to add to the confusion, but, if you are born on June 5th 1988 (no difference between male or female); You are considered as a : Strong Metal person. And in the attached layout plan, (Male) ; this person is strongest in Earth 48 percent; Extremely weak metal only 4 percent and weak wood 12 percent. (This can be found under the topic " Your Five Element Breakdown). Note: above refers to Male: born on June 5th 1988. Quote: Mon D. wrote: Good day, Sirs. I have a 2 questions: 1. Please refer to your questions (below):- Q1 : Not found under Traditional Feng Shui. The fixed bagua template: Knowlege/Education area = a modern invention. No basis under Traditional Feng Shui models. Q2 : Generally no major concern other than if you intend to use especially colours like: BRIGHT RED, BRIGHT YELLOW or BRIGHT GREEN. Then, try to get a proper Feng Shui audit done to assess whether can or cannot use such colors. Q3 and Q4 : No too homes are the same. You may wish to consider get a Feng Shui audit done. Such as advise on where to place a fish tank. Quote: Will the extension extend our Knowledge/Education area or will we be creating missing Money/Wealth,…

Yes, earlier, I had checked and found that for both male or female, born on your birthday (excluding time of birth) it is still the same element. With the introduction of time, usually there are two time range that can change this person's element from Strong metal to a weak metal person. And can also change the various component's of one's Five element breakdown.

1. Frankly, in many instances, there is no really need to cleanse the figurines. It is like akin to "nice-to-do" and not a "must-do". 2. In addition, the key success factor is often to make sure that whatever we place at our front door if possible should be:- 2.1 well nourished - figurines... not thin or skeletonal look 2.2 It is even better if these figurines have a "happy face". It is akin to the concept of "greeted" by a happy face! Imagine many of us who rear dogs... when the owner comes back... "that kind of feeling".

1. Try to do a SEARCH for recent articles on "Facing Direction" of the home. 2. Try to measure the "frontage" based on the most yang qi or "brightest qi" of the home. Majority of the time if your apartment building has a "single" face, try to check if it fits the description of most yang qi. Michael K. wrote: Hello Master Lee, I'm responding to your last reply to my post. Thank you for you patience, and I apologize for my slow learning curve. I gather from your last reply that in measuring my front door 24 mountain facing direction that I'm supposed to measure the front door of my apartment building and not the front door of my personal suite; is this correct? Thank you…

1. Thanks for the sketch. 2. The good news is that your main door or from the sketch the windows don't seem to be in-direct straight path i.e. not attached by direct sha qi of the "T" junction. 3. The only concern is the "tree" facing the main door. If the tree has a tree trunk and it seems to be slicing into the main door then the best solution is to terminate or cut-down the tree (especially if the tree is within your premises. 4. Alternatively, there are at least two neutralising situations: 4.1 Do a search for " Triangle efffect " where one can place two potted plants or grow to plants closer to the door to form an "outward" triangle. 4.2 Place a convex ba gua mi…

1. For a landed property, it is very straight forward to take a compass reading i.e. majority of the time it is where usually cars drive past our main entrance area. And this is where often, we drive into the home. And most of the living room / main door is (located). For landed property, just hold the luo-pan (most of the time) standing inside of the door looking outwards of the home. The luo pan has a needle and there is also "two red dots". Once the needleis properly aligned try to place the two dots in between the needle - this marking will show the north compass marking. 2. Fora condo type development, if your building as mentioned earlier has one "facing" e.g. a s…

1. Usually for any occupation, it should be viewed under two categories: 1.1. The Industry of the business 1.2. The job function, one's job specification is into in a firm. 2. Thus any retail business usually should fall under the "fire element" i.e. Sales, marketing are generally considered a retail function or simply selling goods or services. 3. Sea food - although it can be considered as coming from the sea = water, in the context of the Five Elements, it should encompass the "earth". Thus, in very general sense, seafood is derived from (the sea) which is part of the earth. (Element = earth element) Quote: Linh D. wrote: Please give me some advices, I want to kno…

1. Big Tree - right opposite the main door Stand inside the door and look directly out of it. If the tree is not directly facing any part of the door (within the doorframe) then no issue. Else as mentioned in my earlier posting; can apply the "triangle-effect" i.e. do a search under this forum for it or the other options that I had mentioned. 2. Utility pole From your rough sketch - don't seem to be a threat to the home. 3. Pool Would need to have a proper assessment done based especially on Flying Star Feng Shui. Quote: Anonymous wrote: Sorry I forgot to mention a few things in my previous post about a house near a T section. This is the updated post: We are con…

1. Kua numbers are often not used to analyse a sector (good or bad). 2. If possible, the best method is to apply Compass School - Flying star method in your home. 3. For example, if say the fireplace location has a #3 (Quarrels, conflicts etc). then inadvertently, "fire" as in the "fire-place fire" can help to neutralise this bad star(s). You see, some homes where there is a #3 at certain sector, some FS practitioners may recommend a fire element at that specific sector. This fire element can be in the form of a '24 hours' light or somethign red within that sector. 4. Therefore, the key success is not to apply general statements like: north = career etc.. but to do it …

Prominent Flower of romance can be said to "originate" froma home:- 1. Please take note ofsome of the characteristics of homes that may be affected by such activity:- 1.1. North-west sector of the home: Usually this type of home may have a missing corner at NW or NW is located at the kitchen area. And the rest usually has more to do with the male having an illicit affair. Under Flying star Feng Shui, the tell tale signs are usually the presence of #3 star at this sector. 1.2 South-West sector Again, it can be a missing corner or the arrival of #3 at that sector. 2. Having two or more stoves Having one stove at say the dry and another at the wet kitchen. And have a…

1. Feel free to use the free tools available in our website to check your ba zi information or your lunar birthdate:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports.htm 2. Recent years, someone discovered a writing in an ancient tomb with regards to interpretting whether one will have a baby boy or girl. In fact, there are many sites which had sprouted using this formula. Try to do a Search under Google or Yahoo for such sites. 3. Besides Para 2, some say the type of fruits one eat can help... etc... 1. The most likely facing direction should be "apartment building that is elevated above street level and is facing the ocean" or the apartment building "facing" direction. 2. If the home has a "known" history e.g. if one has stayed in this home for several or more years, can draw a chart based on Para 1 and usually another chart (standing inside the main entrance door looking outside of the home). These two are the main defacto "facing" directions commonly used by all professional Feng Shui practitioners. Yes, one will be affected especially by the m5 at that sector also. while w7 has more to do with "loss of wealth". Hopefully, your office uses "cool daylight" lighting above your work space. If it is "warm daylight" then, check to see if it is possible to "change" it. In addition, avoid bright yellow and bright red items such as file folders etc at your work space. Try to hang a set of six coins in your cubicle. And if possible, purchase one of those bronze hulu and place it at your work table. I just started work at a new office which is NW1 facing in Period 7. TheNW sectorthat I sit in has the following flying star: m5, w7, b8. In June, I fell very sick when the ye…

1. In general, it is acceptable to have a SMALL fish tank in the kitchen. 2. However, try to avoid the following:- 2.1. If the kitchen is at the North compass direction of the home; then it is best not to place the fish tank. 2.2. Try not to place the small fish tank directly opposite (facing) the stove. 2.3. Try to keep at least 1 feet distance between the small fish tank and the stove. Quote: Hi there! Would like to know if having a small fish tank in the kitchen is okay?
