Dear Anon, Generally, dragons are considered the most Yang of all the Chinese zodiac animals. But usually, what we have are simply figurines and there is certainly "no danger" keeping them in the South. For example if you have a display shelf, and you place a dragon in it. However, were possible as dragons `need space' it is best that they be placed facing clear space and looking out of the house or window. This is just a belief (only). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Yes, this is true because of two reasons: 1. If the weather looks dark, some consider it inauspicious to a FS audit. Furthermore, if it rains, this is not the best time of day to do the audit. 2. Lighting strikes. It can be quite dangerous standing on a piece of land and one may even be strike by lighting. Dear Chris, Priority should be given to sleeping in a good sector. Only after this is taken care, then it would be nice or a bonus to sleep with the head facing a good direction. If one is unable to sleep in a good sector, the `consolation' is to sleep facing a good direction. BUT, all these should be taken into consideration only after one has considered the Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui. Here, where possible, the bedrest should have a good support and other considerations based on the above. Dear Elena, Yes, it is very common for people to ask for their immediate office to be Feng Shui-ed. Most of the time if it is the CEO or a manager, they do have a room to themselves. Dear Molly, 1. Under the Feng Shui concept `if it no longer can be seen, it no longer becomes a " threat ". This principle can also be applied to the gas cylinder. 2. Usually, it is kept away from the bedrooms either next to it or directly below a bedroom. 3. Generally, it is advised that the cable is not too long or placed too far from the source (if possible). 4. If the tank is `concealed' or placed in a cabinet, then, place it like any other liquid e.g. a water heater in such a location. Thus safety would be a primary concerned when compared to `Feng Shui'. Dear Anon, 1. I believe it is difficult to alter the height of the fish tank. This is because, most fish tanks plus the supporting legs are high. Thus the fish tank is usually at eye level. 2. The fish tank is thus more for the hobbyist rather than activating the `water star'. 3. The water star if one gets the meaning correctly means a flat surface. Dear Anon, The advise is to avoid placing it totally inside the home. The symbol should not be hung inside the house but rather, it can be hung outside the door. Dear Anon, 1. Most of the time, you will find two lion statues (which are standing tall and strong) on both sides of a main entrance. 2. Fudogs are more like the small remote cousins of the majestic lion or the equivalent of `poodles'. 3. This is quite similar to live pet dogs that some of us keep. Some keep dogs for both as a companion (inside the home) and if there is a garden, some keep to `protect' the house. 4. As these are beliefs, it is still acceptable to have the figurines inside a place especially a hotel. Furthermore, these figurines are not religious objects and are mere statues. Dear Elena, For such situations, it is good to keep in view the additional considerations for NE/SW. Other than this, if the main door favours a person at NE/SW, they can still look for such houses. The consideration here is to avoid, creating too yin an environment (if one does not use the Flying Star to analyse the house). If the Flying Star is used, check that there are not too much Yin influence. If so, try to correct the imbalance. Hello Cecil: I didn't tell her I'm a FS practitioner and didn't go after any other info. It turned me off the way she bragged about being wealthy. Meanwhile, at the gathering, her husband's eye is wandering over every single woman. How wealthy can she really be if her husband behaves like that? Dear Carina, Please see below:- If you can provide me with a rough sketch e.g. a graphic file attachment it would help. It is very difficult to provide u a `detailed' comment such as whether a corner is at threat or not just on a few sentences. For heat, or heat on the wall and you can still feel it in the evening, there is no Feng Shui method to measure how `inaupicious it is. Where possible, no direct sun light is best or if possible, keep the bed away from the affected wall if possible. So long as the room temperature is comfortable, this is ok. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Steven, I believe that there are several `factors' to consider: 1. It depends on the space in the home. Some homes are small or as small as studio apartments especially those in Hong Kong. Thus, it is difficult to find a good location for an altar. 2. And if the family insists on an altar, then, it is best to come to a general consensus on this within the family. 3. In the past, I try to relate the floor tiles more towards the 5 elements i.e. see if can match the house. 3. But this is very difficult to do. For example, do we consider the House element and match it with the house (flooring) or to the various individuals living in the house?
