1. Under Symbolism in Feng Shui, the main concern of the bed-head sharing the same wall as the kitchen is IF the location of the stove is directly opposite one's bed-head position. 2. Thus, there is no major issue so long as the above Para 1 does not happen. 3. If directly behind the bed-head is a preparation table or small breakfast table area or fridge or even washing machine - all no issue at all. 4. Again, there is very few homes (if any) that are totally "perfect". Even those we tend to built from scratch also may have some issues. 5. Therefore, a missing corner at South is not that bad. 6. Flying Star considerations. 6.1. Assuming that such an apartment Flying…

Dear Maggie, In my opinion, numerology is very diverse - and subject to so many interpretations. For example, for some, number 13 is an unlucky number. But for others, it is ok. If one is in Hong Kong or Guandong China; then one may meet up lots of Cantonese dialect group. Here, the spoken phonetic word for number 4 literally translated as `die'. But if you are in Singapore, most likely, this is less of an issue, since the majority dialect group is made up mostly of Hokkiens who come from Fujian Provience in China. In fact, I have come across so many Singaporeans that has house number 4 or 44 or 444. Car number plates with 4444 etc.. and even phone numbers with such numb…

1. For a landed property, the best location is the covered porch leading to the main door. 2. For apartments, if the corridor is a common corridor, then, you may consider hanging inside near the main door. Quote: Angelia T. wrote: About the 6 hollow metal rod chime; should I hang it at the frontage of the main door, facing the corridor or can I hang it inside the house near the main door?

Dear Maria, It is better to approach the issue under the Holistic Approach to Feng Shui. For example, other considerations - if your home is a landed property is to make sure that the "mouth" of the house is not often opened too large. For example, some homes, one have both the main entrance and a panel of sliding doors to the front patio. Frequently by opening this two mouth -- may imply that children may not get married. There are perhaps also so many other issues, here. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Jodi, Perhaps, you can use a paint program to draw a simple outline of the layout plan and the location of the counter. And what category of goods are you selling also. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Master Lee I have located the centre of my flat and using compass bearings, divided it into the respective pie sectors. But when I convert this into the 9-sector grid, the bottom sectors - NE, N and NW - are smaller than the rest. I have attached the floor plan. What have I done wrong? Regards --- Julie

I want to thank you for replying and helping me with all of my questions that I have sent you. First of all, I had written about my front door of the house I live in being stuck and my landlord wasn't willing to do anything about it. The other day, I decided to try to fix it myself. I had found out it is in my career area, in which I have been stuck. So, amazingly, this time (unlike other times I had tried), the door freed up as I pulled with all my might. It is an old door and it came apart as I pulled, but not to the point that I couldn't fix it. I got out my screws, nails, hammer, wood glue, and masking tape and worked on it for two hours. I fixed it!!! I left it open …

Dear Master Lee, What do you do if the house suits you ( not in the excellence are, but prosperity area), BUT the bedroom and housedo not suit your child. It is in her irritation area. I have included a picture and would like to know can I face the bed at an angle? Also, I read on your site that a bed on the same side of the bedroom door is bad, but you have a picture showing that it is favorable. Can you clarify? Sorry I have to submit two emails. I didn't think I gave good information on the last one. In the bedroom, the window faces the bedroom door. The cardinal directions that are circled are suitable directions for my daughter. However, this room located in the ho…

Dear Annabelle, Total Feng Shui is quite like some of the `tests' we took in School. For example, some tests involve multiple choice questions; others filling in the blanks and essay questions. Out of 100 marks, certain marks goes to specific sections of an examination. For example, take the case of Feng Shui = 100 percent or marks. In a `Feng Shui' exam, we could allocate the following marks (although it may not be exact):- For a HOME:- Shapes and Form = 40 percent Eight House Theory = 20 percent Flying Star = 30 percent Pillars (other luck)= 10 percent Here, you can visualise that it is not the `end of the world' senario, if you purchased a house that may not …

Dear Surinder, In my opinion, your question is too general since you had only mentioned about your main door = NE. Perhaps, the most logical way is to see if you can apply both Shapes & Forms as well as Compass School Feng Shui to make sense of your current situation. Warmest Regards, Cecil Surinder Singh

Dear Anon, 1. Feng Shui is all about increasing `luck'. 2. The best approach is the use of `holistic' Feng Shui to try to increase `luck' in many compartments or sectors. Here, the most common set of Feng Shui theories are: 2.1. Shapes and Forms 2.2. Compass School (Flying Star & Eight House) In my personal opinion, I feel that Shapes and Forms Feng Shui takes a large chunk of the percentage of luck of a location or house. 3. Many of us have taken examinations (one time or the other). And in all examinations, weightage of marks is given to each section of an examination paper. 4. In my opinion, Shapes and Form Feng Shui can have a weightage between 50 percent to even …

Dear Mee Yin, Please see below:- Frankly, a flaw with the Eight House Theory is that it is only a static representation. And more importantly, I personally feel that it would be useful as an `indicator' of:- 1. How suitable a house is to the breadwinner. 2. Locations where one spent time at. (However, there are other major considerations or priorities) than this theory. (The Eight House Theory). Usually, this involves a full audit of the house which not only includes the `consideration' of the Eight House Theory but also other concepts such as the Shapes and Form and Flying Star audits of the house. These two concepts are, I feel more important than just the `Eight Ho…

Dear SK, 1. Yes, I can understand the problem, here. 2. The best approach is to try to find the centrepoint of the home. Or the centre-of-gravity of the home. 3. For example, photocopy a scaled layout plan. Glue this onto a cardboard. Cut-out the outline. And (try) to balance the entire layout on a nail. (To find the centre of gravity or centrepoint) of the home. 4. The key here is to find the centrepoint. And from this centrepoint, use a `pie-chart' to radiate out the compass directions. 5. To summarise, once, the centrepoint is found; one can then (sensibly) apply the eight house and/or the flying star charts to the home. 6. Otherwise, unlike an `L' shaped layout plan, …

Dear Sir, I am considering an entrance level flat in a P7 , NW2 5 storey building. There are 10 households and 5 levels above ground in the building. 1) Attached is the map of the area, building is right under the purple pin, with the pool to the right. I understand this building should face a mountain form as a cure to it being an ''up mountain down water'' flat, There are bushes almost 2.5 meters outside the main entrance of the building- again in NW2. These are high so that my entrance level flat's living room windows which are in the same direction as the entrance , see nothing but these bushes. These bushes are not high as the building though, they would not be seen …

1. Yes, you have a valid point, here. (And depending on the Period) what you mentioned makes sense. However..... 2. To further understand better; 2.1. You need to overlay the flying star chart onto the layout plan. And thre are many considerations: master bedroom, kitchen: location and placement etc.. etc... 2.2. Shapes and Forms fo the external environment, the site and the building. 2.3. The drainage out of the property 3. As we go deeper into the analysis; and investigative work; the more we can understand better which facing IN RELATION to the plot and internal organs of the house is a better choice. 4. What you mentioned is like looking at an apple from the outside …

Dear Users, We have made some revision to the Pillars of Destiny module, regarding some errors in the description. Here are the general guidelines to better use or understanding of the stars found in your charts. 1. Flower of Romance. ===================== Description : This stars represents romance, social meeting or any social life. This information is particularly useful when it is found in your Luck Pillars:- Favourable Stars:- This could mean a chance to meet your suitable partner (not necessarily leading to a marriage). Unfavourable Stars:- This could mean that a romance which you have during that year could mean a disaster for you, eg. break up, or unhappiness etc.…

1. Big Tree - right opposite the main door Stand inside the door and look directly out of it. If the tree is not directly facing any part of the door (within the doorframe) then no issue. Else as mentioned in my earlier posting; can apply the "triangle-effect" i.e. do a search under this forum for it or the other options that I had mentioned. 2. Utility pole From your rough sketch - don't seem to be a threat to the home. 3. Pool Would need to have a proper assessment done based especially on Flying Star Feng Shui. Quote: Anonymous wrote: Sorry I forgot to mention a few things in my previous post about a house near a T section. This is the updated post: We are con…

Dear Users, We are pleased to inform you that we have completed our website updates to the entire Report, Course and Book Management. We have tightly integrated all three sites under the universal management system. As our site is getting larger and larger, we have to upgrade our various management screens so that they conform to a particular standard making it easier to access and navigate between them. 1. We have extended the interactive help menu to all areas of the Universal Management to serve as a guide for you in the navigation as well as the generations of reports. This would supercede the default status which is often blocked especially for the IE browsers. 2. We…
