Dear Master Lee, I hope you can help me gain understanding about these floods that we’ve encountered in the past years that have caused us tremendous stress and hassles. The first relevant flooding that I remember was in 2015, we were a newly married couple and I was newly pregnant also. We just moved into our new rental apartment 3 months prior to the flooding event. Our second floor balcony connected to the master bedroom flooded, then the water went to the bedroom and then trickled down the stairs. This happened twice. When we had the balcony fixed by having the floor modified for easier draining and also had the drained widened, we were plagued by another type of…

Ba Zi and missing element

Dear Chin Teck, In my opinion, what you had mentioned, is often not the best approach. For example, if a person is missing water, it does not mean nor imply that this person should perhaps literally drink twice more water than the common person. Alternatively, if lacks earth, one must `eat' dirt all the time. Although the above is taken to the extreme, it does not mean that if one lacks metal, one must wear rings or chains etc... Worse still, one may easily get robbed! For a Chinese, it would be best if we can do something other than to `wear' something. The most logical method is to look at one's name and add such elements to the name. For example, if one lacks water and…

Hi I'm new to feng shui and thought I would ask your advise as we moved into our new apartment which has a beautiful palm tree outside the back balcony which I am hoping is not bad feng shui. I have attached photos. The outside balcony is not in line with the front door and neither can you see the tree from the front door. The front door overlooks a courtyard with no obstruction. Please see attached photos. I would really appreciate your advise and am open to any suggestions. Thank you in advance.

Hallo, I have a new flat and I am feeling good in the new flat. But I want to know if there is a poison arrow. This is the view from my balcony. The pole is hollow and I think the material is not too strong. Is the high house a problem? If there is a problem what can I do about it? Thank you!

Magnetic north pole shifting On 16 Jan 2019, at 2:38 PM, ABC wrote: I have read a few articles recently about the magnetic north pole shifting at a very rapid rate in the last 20 years. I would like to know how this influences Feng Shui. Thank you Dear ABC, In my opinion, our normal compass or for that matter; I Can’t really discern this at the moment. So for now, status quo. If not, by now, one would have heard especially birds dropping or hitting building windows frequently. None of these yet. Or planes falling out of the sky.. touchwood

Yellow Comforter in bedroom

Dear Brenda, Generally, it should not pose any problems with the light yellow comforter. (Especially if or there are no #5 or #2 in the sector). Perhaps, you can monitor the situation i.e. for any health related problems or sickness. (Within 1 month of using it) If there is, none of the above, it is fine. If there is, try to avoid using it or place 6 i-ching coins tied with red string and hang it above the bed. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi, is it okay for the guest room door to face the door of the powder room? The guest room door is a camouflage door so it will look like one of the wall. The guest room is for my parents to come stay occasionally. Or can i move the guest room door a few centimetres to the right so it will not straight facing each other? If i can move it, how many centimetres at least is good? Thank you

Hello Master, I need your expertise! The center of a SW sum-of-ten house is closed in a understairs closet. In attachment the natal chart of the center sector. To me this sector is rated average (due to triple combination and sum of ten) thus I don’t know if I must be happy and keep closed, or try lo leave it open for the benefit of the house. Thank you for your kind help.

Hello Master Lee, I wonder if there is an impact on the flow of the internal room spaces, when placing the two rectangles on L shaped buildings. Attached is the floor plan. Given the kitchen top right is the largest room, should one rectangle cover the whole top of this build (with missing space in the north) and a small rectangle be placed bottom left . Or would the major walls of the building define the first rectangle as covering the whole left hand side of the building with a near square top right? I wondered if when a choice arose, the rooms and flow of people through them had any impact? Either way this home has a missing space the apex of which lies in a cemet…

Dear Kieren, In my opinion, what you mentioned is the wrong direction to take in auditing a home. What you mentioned suggests that Feng Shui is akin to using `fixed templates'. For example, it is too general to say that North = Water. Although, that particular sector could be related to Water. But, it does not take into consideration: 1. A person's element and strength i.e. weak wood etc.... There is again a difference if one is e.g. say a weak wood or weak water. 2. If Feng Shui is that simple, and if wealth is so readily available, how is it that no one can yet come up with a book soley about `Wealth'. 3. Unfortunately, there are some books that may give reference to wh…

Dear Cecil, Some observations led me to ask you that questions. Here is real life example. A family has 2 daughters and has the SE totally missing. Now the eldest daughter is WEST group and the younger one is EAST group. In this case rather than affecting the elder daughter the younger daughter has a tough life physically and mentally. They share the same room, so it cant be that any other sector is affecting them. Maybe I am wrong . But Iam still on my to learning more about feng shui and want to explore all possibilities. Thankyou. Seeker.

Children corner and health corner
by Guest- 1 reply

Dear Colleen, 1. The best way to enhance a house is not to `pay homage' to a few corners of a house. 2. Like an animal or a human being, it is never wise to `corner' someone at a corner. The human or animal becomes extremely threaten and can become `dangerous' or very dangerous. I mentioned this to illustrate how bad `CORNERS' can affect our lives. This is just an illustration. 3. In fact, if one wants to look at `corners' it is more fruitful to just simply look at it from Shapes and Form Feng Shui. Here, look out for `threats' to the main entrance door or windows. Check to see if the house and interior such as position of beds etc.. conform to good Shapes and Form. 4. T…

Symbolic Animal Confusion

Dear Carrie, So far, I have found that there are at least 4 ways of interepreting the four symbolic animals concept. The two most common ones are: 1. What you referred to the north/south where the mountain is at the north/back is based on the "China" concept. This is where in China, the cold winds blows from the North and most of the houses do not have windows or doors at the north/back of the house. This is also where the dust from the north blows. Here, in senario 1, the is the reason why north is = back of the house. While South is e.g. the facing direction of the house. 2. In general, if you can forget about Para 1, then:- - Facing direction should be clear space or b…

Dear Master, I read several other reference thread pertaining T-junction. I have a situation here whereby unit (highlighted in red) is facing a bomba service lane (suspected to be super minimal traffic, but who knows). The gate will be 2 cars width, means there will be close to no wall. Bomba lane should be standard 4.5m width. What kind of gate design would further improve the potential sha qi in this instance. Thanks in advance in any advice.

5 Elements

Dear Emily, 1. The Five element concept has what is known as the binding element. 2. For example even if say two person who seems incompatible e.g. Strong Water vs Strong Water, there is always a binding element can help bind both. In the above example, the binding element for a Strong Water vs Strong Water person is = wood. 3. Therefore, when doing renovations especially in the couple's bedroom, the binding element is wood (brown or green). 4. There is a free report under http://www.geomancy-online.com known as " Comparison Report. This report can help find the binding element based on examples such as the above. 5. In fact, what is mentioned and many, many other concern…

Hey there. My name is Runa, and I know a little bit about western astrology. At a young age I was very spiritual, very close to nature, mixing herbs, plants, using them to create art and symbols. I was at peace, I was mostly a loner, and it feels like I am constantly living in different planes. I have intense imaginations. I can live in a world I create. Vivid details. Many ongoing stories in many timelines. To not kill myself.. I had to pretend to be someone else. Now I don't know what my purpose is. In western astrology, I have:Moon and chiron in 12h (h of collective unconcious and karma) in Leo [fire] Mercury and mars in 9h (h of philosophy, truth) in aries [fire] Sun …

Greetings master and fellow users of this forum! I have recently got a house that is a NE2 Period 8 house. A Reversed house, Parent string. I haven't moved to the house just yet, I have plans on building a small pond in the SW2 and enhance a small mountain at the front (there is a building that is higher than mine, but a little further, so I want to create a small artificial hill incorporating my front fence). I have two issues now: 1. how is the period 9 going to affect this house? 2. I'm a Xun Metal monkey (female, born in 1980). The main door is on TIger mountain, so a direct clash. What do I do to make this house a harmounious Parent String Formation fo…

Dear Carrie, 1. I am not sure if you have tried the method under http://www.geomancy.net/fs/cecilcompass.htm It is easier to use an ordinary compass. 2. All you need to do is to determine the direction of the main entrance door with reference to the centrepoint. 3. If one has purchased a Chinese Luo Pan, one would have seen that the needle is small and `difficult' to read properly the exact compass direction. Here, one should use a large compass i.e. not hand held but big ones placed on a floor for greater accuracy. 4. The best method is to use the Surveyor's method as highlighed under the above URL mentioned. 5. Alternatively, simply get hold of a survey company and pay…
