Appended by Cecil: Anything that has to do with reviewing personal ba zi info and a host lot of other information, has to do with paid service than free service. Thanks. Dear Master, I 'm considering buying a unit at WestMere EC located at Jurong East St. 13. However, after reading thru your messages and using the free reports, I'm still quite confuse which unit is best for me. I'm born in 11 Feb 69 (time: 10:15am) and my birth element is Strong Fire, therefore, my suitable house facing should be (1) NE/SW (2) North (3) NW/West. Questions: (1) Which unit is best for me #17-07 or #18-08 (I have attached the floorplan of both unit...they are actually next to each o…

Dear Help, I believe what you had printed out is based on the Eight House Theory. Since you are building a new house, if you can get Professional Feng Shui help instead. This is because, if you are new to Feng Shui, there are lots of considerations. For example, 1. Shapes and Form It is not only about your house but the surrounding environment i.e. the landscape and especially the site. Consideration include any water positions at the front, side or back of the house, the other landmarks or buidings nearby. 2. The Flying Star of the House This consideration is equally as important as finding a suitable house that match the breadwinner. There are many more considerations…

Dear Cecil, thank you for your response. I do feel that the natural front ('frontage?) of my house is toward the East. I have a panorama view here over the sea and a door that leads out to the balcony. Every morning the sun rises directly to fill our whole house with light. The land in front of this door also slants down and toward a garden and finally the beach. However, I know it won't work to use this door as a main door, as it would mean walking around the house every time we want to exit and enter. However, when inside, I do basically feel that East is the front. Is it therefore, as you mentioned - possible to consider this the front of the house when attempting to d…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Could you please advice that having three ducks is good or bad. i bought a set of ducks and it had three white ducks in it. I have placed them at the front door. I thought that having a pair is good. Could you suggest that should I throw the third one and what could be the best place to place the ducks. In general, for any animal it is best to have them a pair. It is not auspicious to have 3 as it would be like there is a 3rd odd one out. If you relate it to a relationship, it is like having a 3rd party. So not not really advisable. It is best you either keep the 3rd duck and only display the 2. As to whether to display, this is really u…

These are some of the considerations:- 1. Sometimes, the clues are at the bottom, instead of the top. 2. Many concepts good or bad are related to commonsense (cow-sense). 3. For example, three (table) legs are inauspicious. While best is 4 legs. 4. For a "single" leg such as what you had mentioned; again, it depends:- 4.1. for example, there are antique Chinese furniture such as dining tables with OCTAGON legs. But these legs are relatively large and stable. 4.2. Gravit and legs. 4.3. In your attachment, in my opinion, it has more to do with center of gravity. Thus, if more weight is accidentally placed on one side of the table, this table can topple down. For example a c…

Dear Anon, It is common to associate `white' with purity particularly with the west. Chinese in some ways do associate white or `straw' clothing where it is worn during funerals. So far, under Chinese customs or practises, fences are never painted white. Personally, I have yet to see a white fencing both locally or on my trips abroad. I believe this is certainly a `taboo' colour even for FS practioners. The most common colour as you have mentioned for a picket fence is green. Most fences I come across can also be in black. Hmm.. as far I can remember, I seldom see a blue fence. In my opinion, green or black is a "better" choice. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Songwut, 1. In my opinion, the confusion you faced is because of how the Dragon and Tiger are interpreted. 2. There are two ways at looking at the Dragon and Tiger concepts:- 2.1 A pictorial representation. 2.2 Based on compass directions. 3. A PICTORIAL REPRESENTATION 3.1 In the past it is common to use pictures to tell a story. This is the easiest way to illustrate the subject on Shapes and Form Feng Shui. 3.2 Thus, one hears of the good qualities of the dragon embracing the tiger. 3.3 Here, under a pictorial representation, if one is looking out of the house, the dragon is always associated to be on the right side while the tiger is on the left side. 3.4 Logicall…

Dear Angelica, 1. Yes, it is a common occurence to place two tiger statues with mouths wide open on each side of the main entrance door mainly for protection. 2. Try to add a red ribbon on the neck of each of the tiger statues. 3. Basically, the tiger statue e.g. white or gold represents the Metal element. 4. And the red ribbon helps to control the tiger. Usually, a pearl is added to the centre of the ribbon. 5. On another issue of `wealth' as opposed to protection:- For a north facing entrance, it is particularly auspicious to use the two tiger statues (white or gold). As metal is auspicious for this sector. Thus metal, helps water to grow. Thus an auspicious combinatio…

Who can give me some good advice. My house's front door is at the south and the backdoor at the North. I live here with my son (30-01-1991), his number is 1, mine 9 (02-09-1967). The only place for his room is at the west side of the house. How can I make his room good for him? At my work I look at North West behind me is a wall, if I turn to North, I sit with my back to the window on the south west. Do I have to turn or what else can I do? Thank you really much for answering!

Dear Donna, In my opinion, when building a new home, the front door is not the only consideration. Serious consideration should also go towards the entire house taking into consideration the external environment, the site and the land. For the main door, it is best or advantages if it is an excellent location for the breadwinner. For other members of the family (even if one owns the plot of land); try to look at locations where it can be excellent or good for them especially in the bedroom area. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Master Lee: Again thanks for the advice.. I know you are too busy working on the messages that you havenotreplied yet. Coz the last message i post have not been answered yet too. Its the "Novice Analysis....." Well.. I am planning to make an extension at the back of thehouse im about to move in. This extension is for the kitchen. But i read about the Grand Duke which is in the Northwest sector this year. What is the effect of the Grand Duke towards renovating or extending the NW sector? And what are the remedies, if there is any? Thanks and more power! Norman

Hi, Please read below:- It is done to the breadwinner of the house because it is the breadwinner which is providing for the family. More accurately, it is the person who contributes most to the family. You can also take it as who ever earns more.

Dear Flannery, It is best to look at the home from the perspective of Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. If distinctively, one of the rooms is `meant' to be the master bedroom e.g. bigger with attached bathroom etc... then, based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, it is preferred that the head of the house (breadwinner) should where possible occupy this room. If there is no distinction between the master bedroom or other bedroom, then, you can sleep in the North-East room. Usually, if your daughter is to occupy the South-East room, then, it is preferred that the room is harmonized with her ba zi. And this is checked with the Flying star of the room. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Rae, If not sure, don't `activate' anything. It is not like buying some objects or items at $500.00 and hoping that one can get back a return of $1,500 or more. The only sensible way to `invest' money is through proper finance schemes or through low risk returns such as Fixed Deposits or Savings Account. Many fall into the trap of "Credit Card Feng Shui". Where, one gets cash advance in the `hope' of getting a return. The only return here is a bill with accumulated interests that loan sharks would only goggle their eyes on. Warmest Regards, Cecil

These are some other considerations:- 1. The lowest common denominator: The Five Elements Concept. 2. The most powerful "Holistic Approach to Feng Shui" is what is known as Ba Zi Feng Shui with Flying Star Feng Shui. 3. Why? 4. Ba Zi's lowest common denominator is: The Five Elements Concept. For example: an individual can be classified as say: weak metal or strong metal; weak water or strong water; weak wood or strong wood; weak fire or strong fire and weak earth or strong earth. 4.1. Belonging to each of the above is distinctive from each one or the other. 5. Flying Star Feng Shui's lowest common denominator is also based on the Five Elements concept. Here e.…

Usually, when we mention + shape, we generally consider it as a building rather than as a single apartment. Usually as a building, each unit is at the end of the `corridor'. The centre-point is usually where the lifts and staircase are. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi, This is an interesting question. I guess this is not based on Feng Shui but as you have mentioned many single portaits do use women as they are more `graceful' and since most of these vases are delicate, a portait of a women would be nice. The above is not my believes but a comment on your statement based on quite alot of vases and even hand painted plates I also own. I for one do not want to be labelled a Male C. Pig. However, I do have large vases at home that do have male figurines e.g. the legend of the Eight Immortals where pictures were drawn on the vase with them crossing the sea. These Eight Immortals have both a mix of male and female figurines. So, it may n…

Dear Betty, As you mentioned that you since you moved into the house, you became sick. I would suggest that you:- 1. Use the shapes and form school to check your surroundings. However, a cul de sac under Feng Shui is inauspicious. Rather, it should be the `opposite' i.e. an inverted `wok' (Chinese wok). The above is a contributing factor to your sickness. 2. However, you may want to consider using the Flying Star as this would most likely `detect' where the sickness star is in the house. This can be combined with the Eight House to get a clearer picture. Perhaps, if you have not evaluated your house, you may like to get a free Eight House report. The detailed steps is und…

Dear Hoa Luong, Hoa Luong wrote: Under P7, stars 6 and 1 are considered "average stars", but under P8, they are "auspicious stars". This is very confusing!, why is there such difference? Please explain. The 9 stars have different luck period depending on the period they are in. For example, Period 7, star 7 is good, but for other period it is a robbery star. It is a fading prosperity when it enters in to period 8 but revert to it's robbery star. So other stars will also be changed according to the interaction with the period. ie period 8, star 1 is the future future prosperity so the star is considered auspicious. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, It is good that you bring up this question. 1. You see, the Five elements also has an equivalent relation with numbers. For example:- 5 = Strong Earth 6 = Big Metal 7 = Small Metal 1 = Water 4 = Small Wood 3 = Big Wood Here one has to understand that take for example, small wood refers to a small plant while big wood is = a tree. 2. Traditional Feng Shui practioners use either of the following as a cure or enhancer: a. Water positions b. Plants c. Lighting Some feng shui practioners recommend five rounded bulbs to `light' up a location. As they believe light creates beneficial Qi. Natural lighting is still the best. The reason why they use five rounded bulbs is…

Have you try to find out why people not listening to you? Is it because the image you project is not serious or maybe you are doing things that is not normally your friends areused to? Dear Master Lee, Thank You for your veryinformative reply! I apologise for not having been conciseenough about myBazi pillars but hereit is: Day Month Year Hence, the Bullying punishment does indeed appear within my chart. Could I then enquire what kind of negative effectscould this combination bring into my life? Furthermore, I assume that the clash between my Ram-Ox is not too significant right? Because they are not side by side? Is there any possible way for me to lower the negative impact on such a combination? I really Thank You! Sincerely, Anon
