Dear Ulla, 1. In all honesty, the various practitioners or masters who utilize time zone or location factors to modify the original ba zi are relatively recent developments advocated by modern practitioners. 2. Perhaps the only method that could be somewhat logical is applying the location factor to adjust the location to the current moon location. However, even this approach presents numerous challenges. For instance, a slight deviation of 0.01 degree in latitude or longitude can significantly alter your ba zi chart, resulting in less accuracy compared to not considering the hour of birth. Additionally, most individuals do not possess the exact information. …

Hi Shi Fu, May I consult your expert opinion on if unit circled in green is considered a T junc-tion unit, hence inauspicious? The roads are highlighted in purple. It’s a HDB high rise apartment. Thank you very much. [Edited by Cecil Lee - Location Hidden]

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: If the apartment is on the 2nd floor, so it will still be considered as facing south even though the main door falls, let's say, in the south-west sector of the house. Am I right? Yes, that means your home will be facing south. This will be taking the facing of the house based on flying star which allows you to extend the macro flying star scope to even the surrounding area of the house. Taking the main door from the South-West sector from the center of the house is also acceptable but that will be more micro feng shui that applies to the house only within the structure of the house. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET …

Dear Master Cecil Thank you very much for your prompt reply. I can now clearly understand the goodness of a North-South house. Pls allow me to ask another question. To calculate the flying stars formula, we need to know the exact degree of the main door from the centre of our house. However, not all main doors are the facing of the house as I learned? We are supposed to go to the outside of the building to get the exact reading of the facing to calculate the flying stars if we live in an apartment block, am I right? But according to your website, you keep emphasising on the main entrance door. Is that only refers to bungalows and terrace houses? Please advise. Thank You o…

1. Typically, it is advisable to keep the garage separate from the main living space, but this decision ultimately hinges on the overall layout of the house. In certain cases, integrating the garage with the home may be unavoidable. 2. In general, the devil's gate concept can be linked to the Flying Star theory. If the northeast sector exhibits predominantly "yin" Flying Star numbers, then this could raise some red flags. Otherwise, it is usually not a significant concern. +++ In Summary " The inclusion of the garage in a home's Feng Shui considerations depends on the overall energy balance of the property. Additionally, the alignment of devil's gate w…

Does closing the main door help? Main door is directly facing neighbour's main door Does the mean it will get conflicts easily? Does closing the main door help? Bedroom 2 & Bedroom 3 are having odd corners (5 corners) Heard it is bad in feng shui but not sure what will happen and any remedy? Is the center of the house consider the toilet? 1. In the link below, you can see a person kneeling down. The person is usually the eldest son. On the back of the eldest son's back is his deceased father's portait. You can clearly see a "learned" person using a Chinese brush coated in black ink. This person is placing "eyes" onto the deceased person's portait. Literally, this is placing an eye on a deceased person's portait. It is symbolic of opening the eyes (not on a physical body) but transferred onto the portait. It is common also for some to purchase Chinease deity figurines and have temples annoint the eyes in a similiar manner. Please see picture below:- http://cgi.geomancy.net/mypictures/cgi-bin/mypictur…

Challenge 1: Yes, there are currently ready made altars that has both a roof and side panels and sufficient depth to shield the altar from the winds. Challenge 3: In addition, such an altar already has space built in below it for an "Earth god" Alternatively, one can get a carpenter to built a custom altar with the specific dimensions:- Standard height for any altar: 125cm to 128cm. If a piece of glass is to be placed on the altar, then go for 125cm. Width depends on your needs: 18cm to 23cm or 40cm to 43cm or 59.5cm to 69cm Length: 41cm to 43cm or 59.5cm to 69cm or 71cm or 89cm or 107cm or 148cm Challenge 2: Since, the entire wall at location marked B is pretty long,…

Apologies for the confusion. Yes, thanks for pointing out my typo error. It should correctly be : any odd numbers is Yang : 1,3, 5, 7. Thus I was too quick to type wrongly. Sorry for the confusion. Yin stars are even numbers: which should be 2, 4, 6, 8 etc... Cecil L. wrote: 5. Another type of Yin has to do with Flying Star numbers. For example Flying star numbers 1, 3, 5, 7 are yin stars and a high concentration of such stars on it's own is no issue. But if coupled by too yina sector or

1. The concept, is similar to "If it ain't broken, don't fix it". 2. In addition, imagine that we have or had already invited a "deity" into say our home. And if we are not changing to a new home, it would be "impolite" to shift the god or worse, have anyone seen an altar on wheels? 3. Once we have settled the altar, (the first time we moved-in), best not to "unseat" or worse "distrub" them. 4. Thus the most powerful important thing is "unless we have a good reason" don't distrub your exisiting god or "deity". Unless in the first place, they were wrongly placed or posited. Such as placing the altar facing a toilet or sharing a toilet wall etc....

Further to what I had mentioned:- 1. The key success factor in an excellent or great home is: Location, location and location. 2. Thus, in the past has elaborated on illustrations of : "Quantum Leap" in Feng Shui and even cases of "Entrapped" homes. 3. Of course, if one is kinda of free to look into the interior; this is considered as "Nice-to-do" and not a "Must-do" situation. 4. In the past, I have elaborated on the example of a ship: just imagine one is on a leaking ship. Even if one pathe the entire home in gold; outside the four walls is crumbling... no use. 5. Thus, it is certainly (no quarrels) here; "nice-to" make all the "perfect" measurements inside a home but;…

1. It is Nice-to select a good date to perform the first-time open door procedure. 2. As this procedure applies to the breadwinners: usually Husban and wife; then, feel free to e-mail to: support@geomancy.net with Name / Gender / Date and Time of birth (western dates will do). If lunar dates, must make a comment/remarks. 3. Once I receive this, you can go and view the private link of the Combined auspicious dates and timing. Can advise you further; should that day of "inspection" is not auspicious or otherwise. Dear KC, Please see below:- For rearing of fishes, it would not be advisable for a person with the element " weak Fire element " as water can further extinguish a person with weak fire element. In addition, it is normally not advisable for a person with Strong water element to rear fish as it may further strengthen the strong water element. This may lead to e.g. sickness or competition at work for the party. This is OK. Other that what I mentioned earlier; you can place the fish tank next to a wall in your home. Since this is a smiling buddha, it is ok to place near the fish tank. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Vincent, Indeed, I can verify the accuracy of Lillian Too's statement. A Feng Shui foot is equivalent to an imperial foot. By utilizing this precise measurement of 43 cm or roughly 17 inches as the diagonal of a square, we arrive at what Mathematicians refer to as the 'Magic or golden square'. The Feng Shui foot recurs every 43 cm [or 17 inches.] I previously penned a brief piece on this subject, accessible at the following link: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/ruler.htm I trust this information proves beneficial.
