Please don’t think of Feng Shui as something plain or one‑note. There are actually many different flavours of Feng Shui: http://www.geomancy.net/events/CDL_FS_Talk/talk_1_slide_19.htm Unfortunately, many people still think of Feng Shui as just “Fung Sway” and view it through a very narrow lens. It also doesn’t revolve around the ba gua mirror, even though some believe it’s the ultimate cure for everything. And don’t worry — not having a ba gua mirror certainly isn’t the end of the world.

1.In my opinion, the lowest common denominator is the five elements concept. 2. How easy to apply a model or concept. So long as the concepts and method are sound, it is based on how easily it can be properly understood and applied. 3. Ultimately, Shapes and Forms Feng Shui is in my opinion most critical. Feng Shui cannot live without Shapes and Forms, but may survive without Flying Star and it's variant. 4. Thus in my opinion, if the concepts or models are based on Flying star, even the distant cousin nine star key belongs to this school.

1. Frankly, take this as "hear-say information. 2. Such Feng Shui concepts should be renegated into the trash-bin. 3. In essence; this type of Feng Shui is akin to Kindergarten type of Fung Sway. 4. If an overseas Chinese was forced to migrate from Communist China; came to the shores of Singapore in 1930's.. may be fully impressed by this statement. 5. Today, not anymore.. but rather "be prepared to be laughed at". P.S. My toes are partially laughing... still doing so... until now....

Frankly, it is beyond this forum as there is very limited information to go on. It may be a coincidence and/or a contributing factor. In general, a spiral staircase is always not the best choice in a home: as if you have check pastmessages; somehow, it is not "friendly" to the flow of qi. In order to reduce the bad effects (if any) The Concept of Maximizing Marksis always a sound way of trying to reduce bad qi and to try to improve the "marks" for a home.

These are some of the considerations:- 1. An ordinary compass may be affected by metal near-by. Thus if one's home has concrete with steel-re-bar in it; the compass readings may affect the compass. 2. Further to what I had mentioned; 1. Although, there are three kinds of luck:- 1.1. Heaven or born with 1.2. Earth or Feng Shui 1.3. Human or man luck factors (feelings: comfortable, unease etc..) 2. My sincere apologies; I did open your message; closed it; open it; closed it several times; even the earlier posting.. Is it correct placement, in view of the fact that when some person enters the house, the side portion of aquarium may be visible to him? A. COLOUR OF THE MAIN GATE:- 1. Frankly, in my opinion, in modern times; this type of thinking is like "stone age" ideas. 2. Further to what I had mentioned, do take note:- 1. In your case, do avoid having the altar sharing the same wall as the toilet (even if it is only) the basin.. 2. Do take note that the Guan Yin figurine is already seated on a lotus flower; then even if one purchase a single height altar; she (Guan Yin) is already elevated... only make sure that the ancestor tablet is placed lower than the "lotus flower" seat...

Another method of "testing" to see if a tree trunk or lamp post or other tall thin objects may pose as a poison arrow... This is most effective for any threats at (or to the) ground level premises. It is also good as a secondary check for higher floors as we can move our neck and have a quick glance to see if it does pose a threat to higher floors. For higher floors, your method is good; but do remember to stand immediately at the middle of the window facing outwards.. In this case, it should be looking from "B" towards "A".

Nowadays, even if one is considered rich; take the case of Michael Jackson; in my opinion; with his (past) high costs of living; money can easily go down the drain in just a matter of years, months or even days! These areuseful considerations:- 1. A home even with Quantum Leap in Feng Shui; don't need to be so specific in it's measurements. 2. An average home, even if it's measurements are "perfect" in every "Ruler" way ain't going to help. 2.1. This is similar to a boy racer trying to add modifications to his boy-racing honda civic car! 2.2. If one wants to have the best racing car .. go buy a super-car, please. 3.
