I have an idea now to swop my main door to the gate position (subject to management approval). so my main door will face West then. However, both me and my hb is East goup people (Kua 1 and 9) but my daughter is West group. Is it advisable not to change my main door position (original south facing if gate don't consider)? However, my main door also facing the living room balcony which is also not very ideal.

(4) But the main door is directly facing the other apartment's main door. I read that luck or good qi will be sucked away by the other apartment or vice versa, what are the remedies? COMMENTS: In my opinion, it depends! Sound more like: Grandmother's tale. COMMENTS: In Singapore (SGP) in my opinion for condominiums; as high as 30 or more percent of flats have doors that face each other. For public housing; nowadays, this may be around 20 percent or less. COMMENTS: Thus in my opinion, the above is no big deal. Predominantly many homes in Beijing are North to South facing for a reason... because of the "dusts" blowing from the north.

These are some considerations with regards to the current bed-head position:- 1. Just because some Fung Sway books says that a bed-head (blind-spot) is inauspicious. Some books even draw a person holding a knife and coming after the "throat" sort of thing... 2. Be realtistic, please. You QUEENsized looking bed is not small and your bedroom has TWO doors. 3. In my opinion; unfortunately, have to reserve this statement in such a situation:- "Making a mountain out of a molehill" 4. Frankly, and really, one fine day... may even result in this "Obsessive?compulsive disorder"... 5. In addition, many scholars and diligent people thru the centuries have studied and many have ope…

These are some considerations:- 1. Frankly, you don't get the earlier idea? 2. Your green arrow sign pales in comparison to the TWO red arrows that I had drawn. 3. By the way (BTW) these are SHA QI or poison arrows. 4. More critically: go find out what this terms means : TRIAGE This is particularly true to determine which is a better location for say the staircase area.

Frankly, in my opinion; 1. Some of us like you had never knew of Feng Shui before. And, realistically, and touch-wood; if everything seems fine; one may even totally forget that Feng Shui existed and lead a wholesome life. 2. This is because if one wants to apply Feng Shui; there are many things to look out for:- 2.1 Feng Shui Triage 2.2 Fix-the-Leak, First! 2.3 The Concept of Maximizing Marks 3. To apply Feng Shui in the optimum manner; there are no short cuts...

You wrote: 2. Can I use bunk beds? I read that it's not a good ideea. He should be above his one year old brother. 1. This link provides some commonsense idea with regards to the concern of the bunk beds:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Commonsense_Approach#Can_I_install_a_bunk_bed_for_my_children.27s_bedroom.3F 2. Usually, it is best not to let the "legs" face the bedroom door as to the Chinese; this is known as the "coffin position". But, other safety aside; some place a "screen" or organizer pouch at the baby-bed panel; thus acting like a screen between the child's legs and the bedrooom door.

These are some considerations: 1. Clue: it is based on specific priorities and other factors. 2. In my opinon, some Feng Shui books are frankly... either ignorant or too general. Or some even don't get things right. Have even encountered: many blindly following each other. 3. We don't intend to highlight many of the key factors. If so, from past experience many others would try to emulate and copy our logic and methods. In fact, there were lots of instances where, some users report to us that our results differ from some sites; and later they return to that site to discover that these sites utimately changed their results to match us. For example, after we published this…

An extract from this thread:- " 4. Thus, if you can or may do all the things; but also sleep one night (or place a set of both partner's night clothing on each side of the bed) and also try to cook (and if can bathe, sleep and cook) would be an added bonus before the 7th month." P.S. Chinese 7th Month (Hungry Ghost Period):-===================================== 31 Jul 2011 (Sun) = 2011, 7th month, 1 day to 28 Aug 2011 (Sun) = 2011, 7th month, 29 day

Your question is similar to another question. And here goes:- Based on the Chinese Holy Trinity of Luck: 1. Heaven (Born with) 2. Earth (Feng Shui) 3. Man or Human Luck (feel good) So long as it makes you feel good or comfortable with it, why not? Since feeling good contributes to "improving one's luck". Particularly = Man or Human Luck factor.

Your questions are too general. For some of the questions .............................................................. "It depends!".

"You are the one that posted the question on: Walk-in-closet". I can assure you that AGAIN, this question has very much to do with commonsense. Thus, as mentioned under your previous thread "Walk-in-closet"; One should put on their thinking CAP and try to find out the answer, on your own. You don't need a Cowsense Geomancer to do it for you, rite? Off-track: In the past, in the 1980's IBM marketing personel would give away... pads with a bold BLUE word "THINK" on the lined pad. I believe, that was how; later, IBM chose to name their PC = THINKPAD! I strongly encourage you to put on your THINKING CAP... Got it? GET it?

When one is sitting "upright"; face where one's eye's mouth and nose are would be good if this is the "good direction" or "nice-to".

Further to what I mentioned, 1. Usually the novice and some kindergarten level Geomancers do treat what you mentioned as important. 2. Frankly, as mentioned earlier; the proper equation should be:- TheCONFIRMED Flying Star Facing Direction = Eight House "main door" direction. 3. Why? Go ask the elephant, please! Which elephant? ... Here.. it is always said that a picture / caricature.. tells a 1,000 words...

These are some considerations:- 1. Most likely your whole flat painting could have been affected by each year's "sensitivities":- 2011 Flying Star Forecast North 8 3 1 9 7 5 4 2 6 South Take note the following sectors:- Sickness Star this year is at South Misfortune/Sickness Star this year is at East Disputes/Quarrel Star this year is at North Education/Romance Star this year is at South-West Grand Duke this year is East, 90 Degree. - Avoid sitting facing the grand duke or disturbing him by having renovations. Location in Conflict is West. - Avoid having renovations done opposite the location in conflict. 2. For example, in the above example; esp…

These are some considerations: 1. Both Flying Star and Eight Mansions belong to the same School. 2. They belong to the Compass School. 3. What you mentioned has more to do with technique(s). 3.1. For example, when you say "the most bright and view frontage" this is a precusor to trying to use which sector to PLOT a flying star. 4. Since both Flying Star and Eight mansions belong to the compass school; and both depend on one single entity: the MAGNETIC North. 5. Therefore, how can they differ when we need to match both onto a layout that has ONE single NORTH marking on it. 6. Therefore, one should not confuse upon the technique to determine the facing direction of the Fl…

These are some considerations: 1. As much as we like "make" a home slot into a better period; Flying star is not about "reverse engineering" sort of thing. 2. What I mean is; since one period is say better than the other; we ourselves decide upon our own to "slot" the home into a period which we feel that is auspicious and try to play "Tai Chi" and sweep away notion that it belongs to the "other period. 3. In my opinion, generally, and also partially many geomancers would more readily accept that even if the home was built ongoing in a certain period; what may be the more important consideration is "live-in" or "yang qi". 4. Thus, it is not wrong to say that an "empty" …

More resources:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Commonsense_Approach Under the above URL: Ifone has the time; go thru this topic: Plot at a T-junction Para 2. The test is: "Can a run-amok vehicle be able to slam into the property?" Yes or No? If Yes, then this is most likely as illustrated in the attachment a potential plot (in this case) a home facing a T-junction. Commonsense dictates: Can a car fly? If so how high? "From ground level without any ramps; can the car fly to the 5th Storey?"

Try to use the search feature on the top left frame of this forum. For example: I did a simple search using plain English words; such as " Staircase facing main door and got this hit:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=19&mid=25888&new And there are so many other hits on just this subject matter.

These are some considerations:- 1. It is NICE-to have and not a MUST-have to have even number of hobs. 2. TECHNICALLY a stove = Yang (Fire element). Yang is also represented by ODD numbers : 1, 3, 5 da da da di di di.... 3. The idea is that it is good to have a harmony of Yin and Yang. If the entire stove = Yang; then again technically; 2 or 4 hobs are PREFERRED since 2 or 4 = ??? Got it?

Frankly, this is simply commonsense. As all of us know; fire rises upwards. Should a out-of-control fire arise; it rises upwards. Plus if one is sound a sleep (or sleeping like a pig); the end result may evenend up as a live human - roasted pig!
