Hello master Lee, I am designing a house and I have this question from you: Is it ok to put washing machine (laundry) in southeast sector, with fixed flying stars 4-8-5? Is it also ok to have a door (to garden, for bringing clean laundry out)? This is not a good sector for us, since we both are west group people. The house is facing southwest, period 9. Thank you very much

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Please help. My new home (location and direction)was picked by a builder. It faces Southwest. My kitchen is the most northeast. My bedrooms are northwest. You will need to check out using some of the free tools on the website, whether the facing of the home South-West is this a good direction for the breadwinner (person earning most to sustain the family mostly in a family the husband for example). So for example, if you check your date of birth for the breadwinnerand South-West is Excellent, then this house direction is suitable to you and thus,…

From what I read, there are two methods1. The Eight Houses Theory (static) 2. The Flying School Theory (corelated with time, dynamic). The second one seems to take precedence over the first, since it's an extension and more complex, more accurate This article might help: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/fst/fst-8h-intro.htm You have to set your priorities and make your choices. In fact, all in life is about choices Best wishes Doris - a Feng Shui reader

Dear Anon, Apologies, as I do not give the idea of spending too much time replying to this question. But I forgot to mentioned an important point. If this is modern practise especially by Western practitioners who may not be too familiar with the Double Happiness symbol, it would be best, at least, if one display the symbol of a heart to (instead display DOUBLE Hearts) i.e. One heart can be placed overlap (half-way) over the other heart. Like the equivalent of the Double Happiness symbol, at least `LOVE' should come in a pair. I wonder, if some unfortunate souls, could have just placed a single heart and symbolically .. imply.. a lonely heart. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Bill, Apologise for the late reply. I just got back. -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Sunday, June 06, 1999 3:37 PM Subject: Flying Stars and my house built in period 6 Yes, Flying Star requires a clear understanding of the various foundation, otherwise you will not be able to apply them. For this portion. It depends on which theory you want to employ them. Currently, there are 3 different theories for this. If you take the default theory (being each period is 20-years), then 5 is being assigned to the base star. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Thanks Cecil, I am a bit relieved because I have a 5-2.4in my east sector of the building which encompasses most of my unit. I was worried about health problems. The stars in the unit itself seem quite good. Thank you again. You are so kind. Bill

Dear Eve, Actually, I personally do not think that is absolutely correct. It is similar to saying that everyone has the same Eight House Direction or Pillars of Destiny. To determine if a statement is accurate, we need to consider which theory the Feng Shui Master used for their prediction. I am not sure if you have seen the recent emails about Chinese Astrology and the 12 Animal Signs. From that perspective, you will notice that everyone’s luck for the year varies, depending on both your own animal sign and the animal sign of the year. You may want to continue using the cures suggested based on your Pillars of Destiny. In addition, you could also consider …

Dear Xin Xin, Please see below: Feng Shui is all about symbolism. And since 6 represents big metal; six coins are often used as a cure. Sometimes 3 coins are used also because the number 3 represents wood. And as the coins are symbolic of metal (real metal), under the five elements concept: metal destroy wood to "create wealth". This is why, sometimes, some FS practitioners or authors recommend using a string of three coins. Often, if one has these items for more than a month and found no problems - life goes on as usual, then, there is no problem in not doing a spiritual cleansing. What you mention, sounds like an amateur cleansing, and more likely it is made to…

Hi, Frankly, this is usually considered too insignificant to be a major concern in Feng Shui—the influence is simply too minor. It’s similar to the idea of using an imperial Frankly, this is usually considered too minor to be a big concern in Feng Shui—the influence is very small. It’s like using special measurements or a Feng Shui ruler, but for most people, it’s not practical to buy custom furniture, such as tables, just to get lucky sizes. While Feng Shui recommends furniture with good measurements, what should we do when shopping? Many practical Feng Shui experts say to trust your own feelings. Hi, I just entered my birth details on your Free Personal Ba Zi / Feng Shui Element Report and it showed inauspicious overall luck for my entire productive life. Literally from the age of 20 to 80 (which is pretty much the age of someone's entire life). I only have good luck at the age of 90 to 100 Does that mean I have a really bad bazi chart and life would generally be unlucky?

Daniel.....I am shocked thatyou paid so much to a "wanna be" practitioner. Mind you, you were not to know. A client of of mine consulted a FS consultant over here earlier this year. She gave my client an account once the work was completed. The terms said "Payment within 7 days, otherwise unforseen problems may arise". I was absolutely disgusted. Unfortunately, there is no governing body over here who can discipline such a person. Now Daniel, if you wish, and if you are patient, I can help you (no charge) if you mail me privately. I am currently assisting a Forum member from Melbourne design his house...it is much fun and hopefully, the house when built will be an auspici…

Dear Lisa, This is the " tricky " part in Feng Shui. Under the Compass School of Feng Shui especially the Flying Star theory, the traditional method is to find or locate the `exact' compass degree of the main entrance. Once you have determined the exact compass degree, you then relate it to the `birth date' of the house or if a major renovation has been done, relate it to this. Next, a chart based on the `birth date' of the house and the direction of the main entrance door is drawn based on Flying Star calculations. You will notice that the above is the first step. Once all the flying stars have plotted, next you analyse the house based on the locations and an…

Hello Everyone, This is my first time posting here, I’d like to seek some any kind advice and guidance from all of you. Me and my wife bought an old apartment unit, and the apt is currently undergoing renovation process. As we started reno works, we discovered that the planned kitchen area sits below a bathroom area of the unit sitting above ours. When I checked the piping, there is a discharge pipe from the unit above right below our planned stove area. We cannot move our kitchen, due to apartment design restrictions, so our kitchen area has to be placed under the same spot. The area around discharge pipe has been having some leakage problems a…

Dear Anon, I believe, Patalying Jaya refers to the area near or around Kualau Lumpur (the Capital of Malaysia). Malaysia's Cyber Hub is located around this location. Perhaps, this is why you may have heard of it. I am not sure if the spelling is correct or my description exact. But overall you can consider it as a location within Kualau Lumpur. Personally, there is not much significance in the area as compared to Penang, also a `district' of Malaysia where predominantly Chinese stay. You can treat Kualau Lumpur or Penang as equvalent of the definition such as Texas, New York in USA. But these locations are much smaller. If you are staying in Malaysia, perhaps ca…

Yes, as long as the pointed triangle roof is not facing a unit, that is fine. Some units that face the private estate have the master bedroom, second bedroom, and even the living room looking toward the pointed roofs of the landed properties. In this context, a ‘pointed triangle roof’ refers to a roof design where two sloping sides meet at a sharp angle, forming a peak or tip, much like the letter ‘A’ or a triangle. This type of roof is often seen in traditional houses and can create a clear, pointed shape. Examples include: 1. A-frame Roof: Both sides of the roof slope down steeply from a central ridge, creating a triangular profile when viewed from th…

Dear Carla, CARLA MILLER wrote: I have found several homes that I really like but the Feng Shui for the house number is incompatible to me. Is there anyway the negative chi of a house number can be reversed (like adding a letter A or B) in order to be more positive for the owner? House Number has least overall impact over the house compared to the external shapes and form and interior feng shui. There are many ways to view the house number analysis. ie some people dislike house number with number 4, however, there are some people who don't mind the number 4. Therefore, a house number doesn't ha…
