Kallang Riverside @ 51 Kampong Bugis (Freehold condo) Units are either N1 or S1 facing. From a Shapes and Forms point of view, riverside view is always the first choice. As the forms prevail over the stars (Flying Stars). Under Flying Star Feng Shui: N1 has the auspicious double 8s at it's frontage. Good as it's frontage has a water position. Good if the master bedroom is located at NE sector. As it has good auspicious star combinations of MS#6 + WS#1. If a bedroom is located at East is good for a bedroom cum study. The rest of other sectors has inauspicious stars. And may need to be disarmed. …

This was the original location of Woodbridge Hospital: The road leading to it was Jalan Woodbridge. In 2001, the developer MCL wrote in to change this road Jalan Woodbridge to Gerald Drive. This was approved. As Woodbridge Hospital moves further down a few kilometres away. Today the epic centre where it once stood is exactly at Hougang Primary School grounds. Close to this is Hougang One (formerly Hougang Point). In close proximity are HDB flats Blocks 970, 927, 938 etc..

Montreal Dale Sales Brochure: Site Plan and Floor Plans montreal-dale.pdf Lease Commencement Date: Year 2013 Part 1 - HDB Montreal Dale BTO launched in December 2009 This estate was planned with the Multi-storey car park tucked within the fringe of it's neighbour. And the blocks of flats circling around the main roads. Many of today's three and four and even five bedroom types follow this identical layout:- When purchasing a re-sale unit common sense says try to avoid units with full view of the precinct pavilion especially Block 590C stack 57 and 59. And avoid low storeys in close proximity t…

Development: The Petals Condominium Developer: Centrepoint Properties Ltd Total of 270 condominium units Tenure: Freehold TOP: Within 6 months time (Approximately at end of this year 2002) URL: http://www.centrepointhomes.com/petals_site.asp In my opinion, this Type C1 layout (see attached) is a typical Feng Shui nightmare. What's bad:- 1. Toilet(s) next to main entrance - Fatal error Fortunately, many of the condominium developments do not have a toilet next to the main door. The only other development, which I can think of that has this bad arrangement is the Regent Grove condominium. So far if I am not mistaken some of the units at Regent Grove are still available i.e…

Dear Daphne, In a tropical country such as ours, there is a quirk with the application of the East/West group of persons or known as Eight House. This is especially so, if the living room; several bedrooms and even the master bedroom is `bathe' by the afternoon sun (West facing) or even the morning sun (East facing). One significant concern is if these rooms face another block of flats. The direct sun light and reflected (sha qi) from other close-by buildings will totally reduce the advantage of having a house face our good direction. I feel that such cosmic `radiation' (especially with the ozone layer hole) may be detrimental to many of us in the long run. Especially i…

Dear All, In the early 1980's, when I did my reservist training; during defence exercise at Sembawang/Yishun; some of the troops doing defence work; while digging defensive trench, found a wood coffin. This area is closer to Sembawang Park/upper Yishun or Yishun North area. There is really no issue with this. Often, it is best that proper rites were performed and locations should be cleansed of all burial sites. This is more important for the first few years prior to the built up of flats in Yishun. Today, or by now, all yin qi should have been cleansed since Yishun now is a hive of human activity; vehicular movement and much yang activity. In fact, many parts of Singapor…

Dear Siew Yong, Yes, I agree with you that Geylang has changed alot:) And you are right to say that the Aljunied/Paya Lebar MRT station is near-by to the Sims/Geylang area. Sorry, this is off-topic:- In fact; when corner coffee shop next to Katong Mall closed down; I really missed the very hot and spicy wanton noodle stall at this coffee shop. And a few years ago, I chanced upon this coffee shop, which shares the same link fence with the Aljunied MRT station. (Close to the Koi shop). Although, this wanton noodle stall cannot match the Katong Mall - I find this as an acceptable subsitute:) Overall, no matter how, one can say that I am truly biased with the word…

Blue Horizon Condominium Location: West Coast Crescent Developer: Far East Organisation Total Units: 616 Estimated TOP: 31 December 2007 Tenure: 99 years starting from 14 August 2000 Average p.s.f. $438 Layout Plans:- http://www.fareast.com.sg/mainpage.asp?LeaseSale=Sale&page=FloorPlan&Cat=Residential&id=323 I personally do not like models Type: C7b - As the toilet is at the centrepoint C8b - Toilet at the `center-of-gravity and odd shaped layout plan Otherwise, this site is in my opinion, by far, one of the best sites around the West Coast area. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Developer: Hoi Hup Holdings Pte Ltd Location: Jalan Rama Rama Tenure Freehold Total No of Units 204 Expected TOP Date 30 June 2008 Types of units: 2 Bedrooms 1,055 to 1,055sqf 3 Bedrooms 1,259 to 1,615sqf 4 Bedrooms 2,939 to 3,025sqf This development has two blocks: The Duke and The Duchess Overall, it looks like all the better units had been snapped up i.e. especially #03 and #05. Blocks #02 and #07 in my opinion are considered unfavourable because of the fact that these units are exposed to the afternoon sun. Imagine! daily (especially in sunny Singapore) one returns to a very warm Master bedroom! and even the bedroom 2 cannot escape the afternoon sun. Do seri…

Astor is a small 12 storey single block condominium. It was completed this year. Tenure is 99 years. I give this condo the"THUMBS DOWN":- 1. Although the overall block looks not only like a drawf dragon; it is only but ajunior ¬ a formidable dragon and worseoff - it looks like it has all its limbs amputated... a cripple! 2. The worst stack is Stack #03. Has really bad Shapes and Forms Feng Shui: the main issue is that the whole stack (other than the void area for cars to pass below it;) faces the main entrance. 3. Naturally, this stack #03, also has a "dark secret". It has the "pulling power" to bring itself "down" and drag stack #02 with it to the dumps! …

Many Geomancers and buyers always feel uncomfortable with the unit circled in the picture. Most Geomancers would consider that it is no good to stay in a home with a hollow below the home... And visually, many would feel "insecure" even if it is structually safe! Thus most likely, it can affect the re-sale of that unit...

In 1631, Shah Jahan of the Mughal empire was griefstricken after his thrid wife Mumtaz Mahal, died during the birth of their fourteenth child, Gauhara Begum. Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1632, one year after her death. Themain mausoleum was completed in 1648 and the surrounding buildings and garden with the reflecting pool were finished five years later. This is one of the first condo, that highlights that it has reflecting pools. (By the way) the pools are too shallow even for babies or kiddies to wade in. More likely, it is just nice for froggies... Other famous examples of reflecting pool:-http://en.wik…

For the last six months, having been to and seen so many developments (at least 35 scattered) all over the island... I must say; although the Watertown is a 99 leasehold property; Based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, I must truly say; this development has one of the better Feng Shui around.... Given that by 2016; there will be a glut of both new and old condo units; Watertown, both from a Feng Shui point and view and investment potential; would still fair pretty well. I have been to the show-room more than three times and love the mock-up of the model where especially the "my waterway@punggol"; the waterway seems to collect at the basin of this development. And how majest…
