  1. Gem Residences @ Toa Payoh Flying Star Feng Shui Gem Residences comprises of two blocks of flats. Both blocks are situated beside a temple complex. These two blocks are aligned in a North-South purecardinal points of 0/360 vs 180 degrees. Thus all stacks in this development are either N2 or S2 facing directions. N2. Stacks/Units such as1, 2, 3,8, 9, 10, 11 & 16 has the double auspicious #8's wasted at the "back"/rear of the unit. Thus not as favourable as compared with S2 facing stacks. S2. Stacks are the best stacks for a East group person. Plusthe frontage enjoys the double auspicious #8 wealth stars. Thusbased onFlying Stars the better stack isstack #15. Only disadvantage of stacks 15, 12, 13 & 14 are that they are able to see or view the temple fringe. Many would try to avoid this - if possible. 1. Attached, please find a sample illustration of a Flying Star Period 8, S2 chart. 2. In the attachment: it is advantages for the [8] & [8] which symbolises : Prosperity, good wealth at the frontage of the home. Vs a N2 facing where this good stars are wasted at the "rear" which is usually the kitchen/yard area. 3. The only concern for a S2 facing chart is that so often, the kitchen may be located at NW sector. Which in Feng Shui is called: "Fire at Heaven's Gate". And this can affect the male breadwinner's career luck. 4. Thus for a South facing (S2) best to select a unit where the kitchen is either at North or North-east sector is preferred. In Summary Certainly! Here’s a consolidated **Flying Star Feng Shui Analysis for Gem Residences @ Toa Payoh**: --- Gem Residences Overview - Location: Two blocks beside a temple complex. - Orientation: Both blocks aligned exactly North-South (0/360° and 180°). - Facing Directions: All stacks/units are either N2 or S2 facing. --- Facing Types & Impact N2-Facing Stacks/Units - Units: 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 16. - Flying Star Issue: The double auspicious #8 stars (Period 8's wealth/prosperity star) fall at the *back* of these units, typically affecting the kitchen or service yard area. - Result: Positive Qi (wealth, prosperity) is "wasted" at the rear, rarely utilised by main living and entrance spaces. - Recommendation: Less favourable compared to S2 stacks; suitable only when S2 stacks are not available or if personal Kua matches North group. --- S2-Facing Stacks/Units - Best For: East group persons. - Units & Special Mention: - Preferred unit: Stack #15 (double #8 stars at the frontage). - Other S2 stacks with good frontage stars: 12, 13, 14 & 15. - Frontage: Entrance/main windows face the auspicious #8 & #8 stars. - Benefit: Excellent potential for prosperity and wealth. - Caveat: These stacks may overlook temple grounds/fringe, which some residents may wish to avoid. - Layout Issue: Kitchen Position - If the kitchen falls in the Northwest (**NW**) sector, it is called "Fire at Heaven's Gate" in Feng Shui. This arrangement can weaken the career and status of the male head of household (breadwinner). - Solution: Opt. for units with kitchens in the **North or North-East sector** to avoid career and luck issues for the male resident. --- Flying Star Chart Reference (Period 8, S2 Facing) - Front Entrance/Main Window: Enjoys double #8 (wealth stars) at the front, ensuring best use of highly auspicious energy during Period 8 (ending 2024, but #8 remains positive until Period 9). - N2 vs. S2: - **N2:** #8 stars at rear—less beneficial as living areas do not receive the wealth Qi. - **S2:** #8 stars at front—living spaces, main entrance, receive the full wealth/prosperity boost. --- Recommendations for Gem Residences Buyers & Residents 1. Choose S2-Facing Units Over N2: Especially if you are an East group Kua person. 2. Prioritize Stack #15 & Similar: For maximum period #8 prosperity star at the frontage. 3. Kitchen Positioning: - Avoid kitchens in NW sector (Fire at Heaven’s Gate). - Prefer kitchens in North/North-East for best protection of male breadwinner’s career/health. 4. Temple Facing Consideration: Some may opt to avoid units facing the temple fringe, but from a pure Flying Stars perspective, S2 with #8 stars at the front is superior. --- --- In Conclusion: If you have a choice, select an S2 facing unit (especially stack #15) with the kitchen in North or North-East sector to maximize both wealth and career potential while enjoying the most auspicious Prosperity stars at the main entrance/living area. If you may need to match your personal Kua or further assess individual unit layouts (floor plans).

  3. Which do you prefer? A PES that is fully sheltered or one that is partial? From a common sense point of view; it has to be the fully sheltered even if looked so caged like? This is because there are instances where "killer" litter maybe thrown down from upper floors. Plus the living room balcony is shielded from rainfall.
