  1. When I first learnt about feng shui, I had no idea there was such thing as kindergarten FengShui and the true and proper form of feng shui. I have simply accepted that fact and have followed it step by step. I have learnt many things. It's encouraged me to bring my wellbeing desires forth. Feng Shui really does bring joy into our lives - IF we apply it correctly. FIRST by starting with yourself. How is it that we can gain strong health if we drink coffee, smoke and alcohol? How do we gain a stable financial account if we tend to spend money on things we really don't need in our lives. How can you gain knowledge and wisdom if you curse and criticise? So as you can see, if we want to take advantage of fengshui, then you, as yourself must change. When I took action to change myself, I also felt the desire to goto church. religion is like feng shui, there are kindergarten churches, and a true and proper form of church. As i joined the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints; the only true and proper form of church on this earth. life has never been any better. I love it!! It feels as if I can take advantage of fengshui as well as live a happier life I have most desired for. It has brought many blessings into the home. Happiness is not within money or wickedness, but love and charity, it balances your life so it will bring forward a more better and stronger YOU! I would like to thank Cecil for this website. I have followed Cecil's feng shui advice and have found them work for me. I hope this testimony will help all realise that fengshui will not work, if you plan to be lazy about it!! All the best, Daniel.
  2. Hi Cecil, Robert.. There is a Lilian Too conference coming to my city and I was just wondering if i should go or not. is she a trusted feng shui practioner? That is all.. Thank you!! -Daniel.

My question is the front door of our house is in the south but the door 85% glass.. will painting the glass red help? or do u have other suggestions... thanks!! daniel.
  4. Hi Cecil, Robert.. Thank you for your kind auspisious dates chart! I passed my exam with 92%. Definately relived!!! I am involved with a team who bring in big international musicians into New Zealand for live concerts, and I was wondering what type of building are they most lively in. I am thinking a fire building.. But what would you suggest? Thanks again, -Daniel.
  5. Hello Cecil and Robert, I like the new features you have added to your site! About Sha qi, we live in a house with 7 glasshouses behind us. All 7 have pointy rooves that all face directly to the back of our house. I assume that this is sha qi? What can you advise me to do? Thanks! Daniel.
  6. Hi Cecil- I remember you showing me the sleeping position, but I'm confused about the sitting position- when we are sitting down, do we have our back facing the best direction or our face is looking at the best direction. Thank you! Daniel
  7. Hello cecil, long time no write, i have been extremely busy doing study at computer school. Scince we've moved new computers into the room.. about 25 of them, i'm curious if it has created the room of too much yang. I want to balance myself out, but how, thats why i have come for your advice. I always feel tired and sometimes frustrated but i have learnt alot things from this environment. Also, at home, when the front door opens, the door blocks the stair case. Upstairs is where i study, i was wondering if that disturbed the flow of qi. The site is looking great guys! i'm impressed. keep up the good work. Thanks again, Daniel Wong.
  8. Hello Cecil, I want to know what is a nice prosperous feng shui enviroment for a fruit shop. Thanks again my friend, Dan.
  9. Cecil, I'm doing a computer course but find it hard to stay focus while studying at home.. Have you got any tips on the type of enviorment I should study in?? Thank you.. Dan.
  10. Hey Cecil, I'm a big fan of music. I have a stackful of CD's on a CD rack, it sits at the end of my bed. I was staring at it this morning. There are little gaps inbetween each cd and just out of curiosity, i was wondering if it's sha qi/chi.. Thanks! Dan.
  11. Hello Cecil, How is feng shui applied to outdoor living? Thanks DW.
  12. Cecil, What is your opinion on open living. I've noticed alot of the modern houses have them. If you don't know what it is, it's maybe the kitchen, dining and living area combined without walls. The kitchen could be seperated from the dining or lounge from using maybe a breakfast table, the lounge and dining can be seperated by the sofa's or whatever you please. It's quite effective. But feng shui wise, is it too much yang? -Dan.
  13. Make sure you have a good look in the resources this site provides. I don't think you can find so much information anywhere else. Also, if you have the chance to download the free software that is provided. That program can tell you which is the best direction to sleep. At least that's a start. Dan.
  14. How would you determine the best colour carpet to use for the home?
  15. I would like to share my personal experience with all. My name is Daniel and i'm 17 years old. I live in New Zealand, located in the Southern Hemisphere. Today life is worth a million dollars. Yesterday it was only worth 2 cents. I admit it was the help of feng shui which helped me live a better life. It's only been 2-3 weeks now scince I have had Glyn Foster, one of Cecils great students who kindly gave me a reading of me and my family home. Within 4 days, I felt like i was reborn. I woke up feeling pretty good about things. Was Glyn a witch.. NO!! She taught me the importance of balancing the Yin and Yang. My room was filled with posters, making the room YANG. So I removed a few posters making it less yang. Now i find myself resting into a deeper beautiful sleep. Come to think about it, the dreams become like a motion picture. Has anyone else felt the same way? -my experience. I believe people still think feng shui is a superstition. Feng shui brings good luck, bad luck.. Sounds superstisious doesn't it? In my opinion don't we create our own luck. If we had a good nights sleep and with the abundance of engery inside you, I think people notice. -my experience. Feng shui is facinating in everyway. You start to look at life diffrently. I don't know if i call my self lucky but i have had the chance to see two different views on feng shui. Before Glyns audit, i hired another practioner who said well this is wealth corner, this is the fame corner, marriage corner etc.. 3 months, 9 months, a year and a half.. Still no change. The same old bickering still happened. The money comes and goes. No different than before. All the time I would worry about what is wrong, which is the corner that's not working etc.. I felt stuck and trapped inside that wealth, fame, marriage feng shui. "Come on feng shui.. show me the money.." LOL.. If the feng shui is right, you don't become greedy because you feel special and complete. Instead I tend to give and recieve alot back. It's funny because when i think back, i was using feng shui like a witch craft. LOL.. -my experience Some kind of miracle directed me to the geomacy.net site. (This site right here!!) Sure i was confused. WHAT!? is this feng shui or just a gimick?? I was use to the "kindergarten" methods, because all the books and magazines i read all say the same thing. Wealth, fame, marriage etc.. But i started to learn. I learnt that you don't need to apply the corner methods. At that moment, i felt free. WOW.. I have nothing stopping me! I also learnt the wealth doesn't always mean money, but a wealth of love and calmness. I was desperate in looking for somebody to apply the RIGHT & ACCURATE feng shui to my home. I found Glyn. I didn't trust anyone. I was sick of being led the wrong way. But Glyn convinced me that she knew what she was doing, so I went along with it.. She told me my best auspisous directions. that was important, because as a strong earth, i always thought i was a fire because of the unaccurate information the books provided me. now it makes sense why i'm frustrated in some buildings and why i'm at my best in some others. that also explains why i like white and blue!! I spent about $20 to get the remedies to what Glyn had suggested. Only 4 days, and things have gone *sweet. (*as in perfect) THANK U GLYN! I can list a million things to tell you what feng shui has done to me in the last few weeks, but here are the few i have stongly experienced. -my mum yells less. -we are more open and honest. -money is not so much a problem any more. -We get alot of unexpected visitors than we use to. -i can think more clearly!! -things seem to handle themselves, i don't feel as stressed.. -one thing i noticed is i appreicate things alot more. -the cat is happy, the dog is happy, the fish are happy!!! -people are HEAPS more friendly to us.. -I even feel I have more authority -i use to be always sick, but now i feel more healthier and fit. -the most important thing is that i'm happy and enjoying life. I only spent $20 and something so simple can change your life! The information in the site is VERY VERY ACCURATE. without this site i think feng shui would die out because people won't trust it anymore. Best of luck to everyone. And make sure you apply whatever it is correctly and always monitor the changes because the little things can be disasterous. Thank you to Glyn, Cecil and Robert for the effort you guys are doing to making this world a better place. Not bad for a 17 year old huh? Dan.
  16. Dear Cecil, when you say your head should be facing your most auspisious direction, what do you mean? Your head should be in that direction, or you should be looking at that direction? Thanks Dan.
  17. Hi, How do we know if feng shui is working? What are some of the things that happen when we have good feng shui? How do we know if the feng shui in the home is going to bring us bad luck?
  18. Hey Cecil, a thought came up.. is it ok to have a male urine in the home bathroom? scince they don't have a lid to close while you're flushing it, is it a concern?
  19. Hi, I was wondering if there was such thing as applying feng shui on a website to make it prosper? If so, i would like to hear from you. Thanks!!
  20. Hello Cecil, I want to learn about the pillars, particularly working out what element you are with your birthday. Could you tell me how, or where can i find information about it. Thank you
  21. I wear a baby jade nickle around my neck. My mum tells me the jade is best when it's tied using a red string. It's known to protect you from harm. you can restore the jades power once and a while by giving it a little bath in the sea water. the jade shaped into a buddah and if blessed, it will protect you from the evil spirits. Only the real jade from the mountains has this kind of power. my jade is worth about $300 - and it's only very little! i wonder what the big jades are worth!! -Daniel
  22. Can there be 2 main doors in the house? we enter the home through the back which leads into the kitchen. the visitors use the front door which leads into the lounge. what do we call the main door? also, to apply feng shui, do we use the main door to determin the bagua or the compass directions? and which is the best room to apply feng shui first?? sorry if i have a lot of questions. right now my feng shui beliefs are bad. everybody seems to arguee at each other about which is right and wrong. thanks again. i also appreciate your time that you have put into me. daniel
  23. i would like to bring up some of my points about the southern hemisphere. for one example. the devils gate- the forbidden city has it's main gate facing south to avoid the northern cold wind. are we basically talking about the wind from the north pole? in the southern hem, the cold wind comes from the south pole. do we have to aviod windows on the south side of the house? therefore shouldn't the "water" in tha bagua be in the south for us southern hemispherians? i've heard weather also effect feng shui? for us, the sun rises on the east to north and sets in the west. why can't my fire face north? because it doesn't make sense when cold wind is blowing in the fire direction if i changed my bagua around? my feng shui pillar goes anticlockwise, because if you convert to northern hem. to sothern hem methods, it works better that way. this is like saying why does the water drain differently in each hemisphere??? i am not disrespecting feng shui, i'm just real curious because curiosity is my name. thanks again! -Daniel
  24. Thanks glyn for your comment. i'm interested in your next visit to new zealand.. if you ever do come, please contact me at mail298@xtra.co.nz i would be interesting in hiring you. thanks. daniel
  25. ..REALLY.. i never knew such thing as kindergarten feng shui. worse yet, i paid $250.00 out of my own hard working pocket to get this house examined. maybe that's why i'm wondering why hasn't anything wonderful happen to me yet.. i'm born in 1982, i live with my family, if i applied feng shui using the method in geomancy.net, how do i apply feng shui which will benifit everybody? because not everybody is a north or west person etc.. also, in front of my front door it is blanked off with a wall, but the entrance to the front door/porch is through the eastside. the entrance into the property (the drive way) is in the northwest. most people can't see the front door.. how can i remedy this without busting or building..? -thanks alot! daniel
