  1. Since you mentioned that it occurs when the year, month and base are equal to #6 x 3; in my opinion, I take it that it does not appear all the time. As due to time dimensions, especially the month can change and for the year, a year passes so fast. Thus time dimensions need to be taken into consideration, here. Another view point is that in other sectors; without the #5, but if there was the #9 e.g. As the water or mountain star, such combinations of #6 will instead kill or neutralize a good star number.
  2. 1. In my opinion: most standalone blocks of apartments or "point blocks" are suppose to have better Qi then those "joint" together in a long curve or "L-shaped type of blocks. 2. What you mentioned: water building or partial metal: there are really no perfect answer to this. As some may even consider it a wood building by virtue that top down may be a tree trunk and or side-view like a tree trunk. A clover (top-down) view may be considered as a plant (leaf). 3. In general in reality or real life: the adage "one size fits all" is far from the truth. In fact; some buildings are a combination of two or more elements: metal-wood or metal-water-wood element. As for your third question, I don't have the time to dig out the layout to examine it.
  3. In my opinion, there are know circumstances where digging works were outside of the house but at the specific Five Yellow sector in that year. There were some instances where it had also affected the health of the people staying in that house even if the digging was done 100 metres away. I personally feel that best always to be more on the cautious or conservative side. If one is damn unlucky then, there is no reverse on this. Furthermore, around 7 to 8 weeks more; five yellow will go to South-East and Grand Duke will go to east-south-east at 120 degrees...
  4. In my opinion, these are some considerations:- 1. Often, homes with different levels have different built up space. And often the home "gets" narrower or less floor area as it "rises" up. Thus, the attic often has the lowest floor area. 2. In considering the center-point of the house, best to look or use the ground level to determine the centrepoint. 3. In my opinion, missing corners for the ground floor is an important consideration. Same often goes to the 2nd storey. Higher up, it depends. There is no one rule that fits all sort of thing.
  5. Please see attachment.
  6. In my opinion, this comes under symbolism in Feng Shui Simply place a red dot onto both door knobs to "allow each other to see eye to eye with each other" is The norm for this situation.
  7. In my opinion:- 1. Often, it is strongly recommended that the toilet/bath shares an external wall. 1.1. If so, it can never be in the centre or centrepoint of the house. 2. In many countries; even in Singapore, many modern landed properties have three levels and some even with a upper roof floor. 2.1. So all long as most of the toilets are at the same "place" or sector; I don't see why it is bad Feng Shui? 2.2. The idea is that the sewerage pipe(s) running into the home and also up to the upper floors are preferably e.g. one line up and one line down. 3. Thus rather than ask : IS there a cure? 3.1. It is more prudent to visually or imaginary "IMPOSE THE LOWER FLOOR PLAN" WITH AN UPPER FLOOR PLAN to check for e.g. Is my bed-head directly below the sewerage pipe? 3.2. Or is my stove directly below a sewerage pipe - this sort of thing. 4. Do a proper TRIAGE to check it out. And frankly, simply ask a question: Is there a CURE? 5. Even in Feng Shui; majority of the concepts are based on common sense or common sense driven.
  8. 1. In my opinion, rather than finding the elusive "cure"; (which often is non-existent, here) 2. The major concern would especially be that the STOVE or any other critical equipment in the kitchen is directly ABOVE a sewerage pipe / line.
  9. At first, I thought someone had forgotten to clean this pond as it is full of green algae! Oops! Was I wrong! This is suppose to be the pride of Waterfront Waves condo... an eco-pond... Hey! I am not against having an eco-pond... but.. do take a look at it...
  10. Sprouting Green Beans.. getting better and better?
  11. Some interesting photos of certain blocks e.g. 766 @ Waterfront Waves. Just TOP. Perhaps, this condo was named after the top-level "wavy" looking balconies? If given the choice, I would prefer to live in a unit where the upper unit's balcony curve outwards! If the balcony curve inwards, I know, when it is a wet, wet, high winds and rainy day; the rainfall would literally pour into "my unit"...
  12. Hmm... wondering what does this sign mean? "Sense of Taste?" Location: newly TOP Oasis at Elias condo in Pasir Ris
  13. Orange coloured Fa Gao's (Huat Quay)
  14. 1. In my opinion; other than the colour and colour-tones in your illustration; 2. No. THREE would have the least "adverse" comments. 3. As I had mentioned previously, often in many situations; it has more to do with people's taste and how much adverse comments (if any). 4. Technically, no. will often not have any adverse comments. 5. The most subjective would therefore be no. ONE. 6. Again, there is no right or wrong answers, here.
  15. 1. In my opinion, this whole arena is considered under symbolism in Feng Shui. 2. For example, drawing a parallel; the first time that is considered a NO-NO is for a marriage couple; it is considered inauspicious to join two single beds to form a sort of queen-sized bed. 2.1. The two single beds symbolise more of a "split" or "divorce" sort of way. And imagine if the twin beds are on rollers; and if both partners were to do some vigourous activity on the bed; and if the middle put of the bed i.e. the two beds "split up". 3. It is the same concept as not having two equal mirrors facing a dining table as it will "split" the image into two (where there is a line across the middle). 4. Thus where possible or NICE-NOT-TO have a split in the middle of the e.g. queen or king sized bed. 5. As to having some patterns on the bed-head; it is considered as not CRITICAL; but rather, if possible, can avoid; things like a diamond shaped pattern would be nice-to avoid. 6. What you mentioned is very subjective. And what happens if friends or even one's partner makes some comments on it; and if many people start to make comments; some people may end up feeling not too good about having such a design on the bed-head. Not that critical but more towards man-luck factors.
  16. In general, not the best for placing a water position; but if you insists; make sure that it has all the five elements as mentioned in my earlier link: reference URL http://fountain.geomancy.net
  17. These are some considerations: 1. In my opinion; in my life-time; and still today, some who are not too familiar with Feng Shui would asked this question: If I hire you to do my Feng Shui; must I need to do major hacking? 2. Your posting is very similar to the above question. 3. As you had mentioned for practical reasons; a spiral staircase is used in this cabin. 4. Even if one wants to resort to hacking or removing the spiral staircase; a Geomancer would often do further investigations. And cannot assume that all spiral staircases are "bad". 5. In fact, even in my country, there are some homes which do have a spiral staircase. Or staircases. 6. For example, around close to 12 years ago; I Feng Shuied a new client and his penthouse in an Executive Condo at Northoaks, Woodlands; has a spirial staircase that leads up to this master bedroom. 7. In fact, just last year, he has moved to a landed property costing at least 4 million dollars. And his Engineering Company has been thriving all along the past few years. 8. There are other examples of many others I know who has a spirial staircase. And the key is "It depends!" 9. Since this is only an escape on the weekends; this even lessen the concern. 10. In Europe and all over the world; in the past; many think of the Skoda car brand as a car that can fall apart anytime. In recent years; it was taken over by VW and many are as well built "German" qualities. Therefore, it is the same.. cannot just say that automatically a spiral staircase is bad. 11. One of the major reasons, I suspect for saying that spiral stairs is "bad" has more to do with common sense. For example, it would be unfriendly to the elderly, the visually impaired and even some children especially if they just learned to walk etc.. 12. Otherwise, why take such a drastic action; just because you had read that it is NO GOOD? And furthermore, there are no other better PRACTICAL solution(s).
  18. 1. The main concern is that when entering a home, one must not see a flight of steps "flowing down" and flowing-out of the main entrance door. 2. In your rough illustration, this is not the case, thus technically it is fine or ok. But again, some don't feel nice about it. Not a major issue since this place is rented.
  19. 1. The main component relies on Geometric Patterns and Configurations. In Feng Shui, this is simply known as Shapes and Forms. 2. Many individuals, even without prior knowledge of Feng Shui, intuitively determine the ideal placement for their bed in a bedroom. 3. If our intuition conflicts with the technical guidelines but can still be accommodated, it is acceptable. 4. However, if adhering strictly to Feng Shui principles disrupts the natural flow of the bedroom, it is advisable to disregard the recommended bed placement. 5. It is preferable to have the bedroom in a favorable sector and even better to position the bed according to Feng Shui principles. 5.1 These considerations are optional rather than mandatory. 5.2 Ultimately, personal comfort and well-being should take precedence over strict adherence to Feng Shui guidelines.
  20. 1. In order to understand this; in the past, when underground water courses (not sewerage water) but caverns or streams of water flow below a home; this is considered "unhealthy". 2. Thus, some sites choose to build a pagoda; above it. (In directly to tame it or rather from another view point: if there is pagoda there... most likely the dwelling cannot be on the same location. Thus, this pagoda in actual fact is more like a MARKER. For example, close to shore we have those Light-house sort of thing). 3. However, in my opinion, water tap are often closed most of the time and enveloped in a stainless steel or copper piping. Thus, I don't think it would be like what I had mentioned under Para 1 above. 4. In general; as I had mentioned; I would be MORE WORRIED if it is direclty sharing the same wall as the WC. 5. Frankly, there are no doctoral thesis written on this subject; so your guess is as good as MUAR (mine).
  21. I have seen old houses and apartments where directly opposite the wc wall; the wall is peeling and like soaking in moisture and the plaster is "swollen". Through lateral thinking; maybe or whether it does or does not help: one could just give a try: using "exterior paint" which has better moisture retention properties than regular interior wall paints. Not sure whether this does help or not...
  22. As mentioned previously, the MAIN issue lies with: "Does the WC cum sewerage pipe share the same wall?" Furthermore, if the bed is as shown in the attached illustration; this is considered inauspicous. Did you see specks of red "vapours" in the illustration. This is a graphic illustration to show that hopefully, the sewerage pipe does not leak out minute traces of .. you know what! Again, if the bed-head shares the same wall as the bath tub etc.. in my opinion; this is not as bad as above.
  23. 1. Please see attached, illustration. 2. Do take note that it is not always the case that the bed-head sharing the same wall with the toilet is an issue. 3. It is often an issue; if there are sewerage pipe(s) that share the same wall as the bed-head.
  24. 1. Most of us assume that when the topic of water is mentioned, it really has to be real water 2. One must understand the real "meat" or "juice" behind the concept of water. 3. When we have a water position, it often means that nothing can be built above e.g. A pool or pond = flat space. 4. Thus if this is a condo unit and one's unit is directly facing the pool, this implies clear space. It is like space even for a bird to fly freely in this space. 5. Thus this space is also known as VIRTUAL water. 6. If one has a garden, and if one has a pond or water feature most likely there is clear space within the pool. 6.1 Contrast this with some older homes in Singapore especially in the 1970's where mango trees were planted. 6.2 Here in 10 years time this tree would often cast a shadow and for homes that have a smaller garden, the frontage of the home would be dim and it no longer enjoys a bright hall or clear space effect. 7. Thus for this reason, ain't it better to have a water position irregardless of whether the flying star numbers are good or not. As the key element is based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. 8. Under Fluing Star Feng Shui, a water position is often used as an enhancer especially there are good or excellent water stars like #8 and even #1. 9. Sometimes it is also used to help neutralize a bad sector. 10. In your case, although the water star is the auspicious future prosperity star #9; however in the current period #8, this is still a fire element. It would be considered very auspicious if a water position is placed there on or after 2024 onwards, but today, not so unless it is better than para 6.2. 11. Another consideration is the #3 and #4. #3 being bad wood, and a water feature may accidentally inflame it. 12. Otherwise still possible for a water position given the stars with that sector; provided a water feature that consists of all five events in it. 25. 1. Feng Shui is a holistic approach and depends on two major concepts:- 1.1 Shapes and Forms Feng Shui 1.2 Compass School Feng Shui 2. In my opinion, you have barely scratched the surface; as you have just looked only at the Eight house concept which is by itself is not complete as this theory and concept belongs to one-half of the Compass School Feng Shui. 3. It is akin to someone visiting a general practitioner and the practitioner felt that the patient's breast has a lump. 4. I am sure the doctor would not automatically jump to the wrong conclusion. 5. I am also sure that the doctor would require this patient to further tests. 6. It is the same as what you had mentioned. 7. It depends! On the results of FURTHER tests or scan(s). 8.
