1. In general, as a weak wood person, the best elements are: 1. water (Blue, black or grey) or wavy shape (design) 2. wood (Green or brown or wood tone) or tall, thin design shape Since there is no specific trade, then your logo should try to have Para 1 or a combination of Para 1 with 2. (Avoid prism as it is the fire element which will weaken weak wood and also avoid: RED, pink or purple).

For free advise, "don't be lazy and just give me a birth date and expect me to find out your birth element and strength." One should use the free report to check, and indicate say: I am a weak water person....

Please see attachment. Usually the main concern is to find the centrepoint of the home. Once this is found it is easier to draw a pie-chart from this centrepoint. To chart out a proper 9-grid. It is still easier to outline a pie-chart. And from there, draw a 9-grid. Many Feng Shui professionals use the pie-chart - more although the 9-grid is easier to visualise especially for the lay person.

1. In the link below, you can see a person kneeling down. The person is usually the eldest son. On the back of the eldest son's back is his deceased father's portait. You can clearly see a "learned" person using a Chinese brush coated in black ink. This person is placing "eyes" onto the deceased person's portait. Literally, this is placing an eye on a deceased person's portait. It is symbolic of opening the eyes (not on a physical body) but transferred onto the portait. It is common also for some to purchase Chinease deity figurines and have temples annoint the eyes in a similiar manner. Please see picture below:- http://cgi.geomancy.net/mypictures/cgi-bin/mypictures.cgi?action=view&link=Celebrations_And_Festivals/Funeral_in_the_1960s&image=painteyes1.jpg&img=&tt= P.S. For info, the portait is my grand-father's portait. And the actual person kneeling down with the portait on his back is my father. Who is the eldest son in the family i.e. early 1960's....

1. Given that a home layout is "fixed". More importantly; these are some of the conditions for placing dead parent's pictures:- 1.1 Avoid hanging the portaits sharing the same wall as a toilet, same wall as the stove. 1.2 Avoid placing the portaits facing a toilet. 1.3 If possible avoid placing the portaits facing the main entrance door or facing the toilet door or facing the walk-way entrance into bedrooms. 1.4 Usually the best place is the portait is hung on a "solid" wall" without any protuding or indented beam above the portait. Where best the wall where the portait are hung should be a total even surfacewall. 1.5 Ideally, the portait "sits" on a wall facing a window is the best choice. 1.6 Avoid placing the portaits looking into a bedroom or place it in a bedroom. The last resort is an open concept study where it may be placed "overlooking a window". 1.7 There are lots more don'ts... these are some of the major considerations. 2. If the portaits was not "blessed" or " any pen" used to "dot the portaits" eyes, there is really no need to offer prayers. But even if one wants to pray, then if possible, hang the portait from ground level to the bottom frame, recommended height is 145 or 146 cm. This is the same height as a standard altar table. 3, If need to pray, then best to purchase a standard altar table. As mentioned under Para 2, usually a standard altar table height range between 145 to 148 cm. 4. If one has other "Gods" or deities, the portait should sit on the altar as mentioned under Para 3 (and Para 2). While the gods are elevated higher. 5. If you were to offer prayers, then often best to have two lighted "candle (electric) lights" on each side of the portaits. And If you buy an urn to place the joss-sticks make sure that you add a few coins wrapped in red paper in the base of the urn. One urn should be enough. Common to offer 2 joss sticks (each deceased person). Some people may offer 3 joss sticks x 2 persons. Also ok. 6. If personal auspicious dates are not looked at, then ideally the altar should be set up on either the 1st lunar and/or the 15 lunar month. (other than on the 7th lunar month). 7. Traditionally, it is good for the Chinese to have tombs facing South. But in a home, as mentioned, especially for a smaill home, there is really not much "real-estate" wall to place a portait. Anonymous wrote: Dear Master Lee, Kindly enlighten me and my wife as to where to position the pictures of our dead parents? Should they be facing the North, East, West or South? We would also like to light joss sticks for them. How many sticks per person should be lighted?

1. Mathematically, there are 50 percent who are East group and 50 percent who are West group (full stop). 2. If one already had purchased or stayed in an existing house or apartment, is it possible to get the earthquake to move your home so that it aligns to your good directions? Yes/No? 3. This "obession" with whether your home is East or West is "history" if one intends to stay in that specific home. Unless, you are saying that you intend to move-out. 4. One has to be realistic. And if trying to apply Feng Shui, make sure that there are no further "loss of wealth leaks" etc.. By applying proper Feng Shui. 5. If you close your eyes, the direction facing would'nt go away. Please refer to my previous reply.

1. In my opinion, no two developments are the same. In general, if your main door is facing NW2 and if the facing direction of the entire building is also facing NW2, it makes it highly probable that the home for the basis of drawing out the flying star chart may most likely be NW2. As I am physically to see what shape your entire building or block is, this is just a general comment. 2. Usually, if some has stayed in for some time, I would normally draw two charts i.e. NW2 or SE2 to correlate the actual situation of the owners in the apartment. 3. Frankly, it is not the end of the world when a home or apartment is considered not suitable to the breadwinner and his partner. The concept of maximizing marks are just some of the common ways to balance / harmonise the home as well as bring better luck:- http://www.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Concept_of_Maximizing_Marks Quote: Anonymous wrote: Dear Master, I am an East Group person (kua 4) and currently staying in an apartment unit located on the 12 floor. From the window with unobstructed view of the surrounding the direction is SE2. However the facing direction of the building and the main door to the unit is on the NW2. 1) Does this makes my apartment West or East House? 2) If it is West House, since I am East Group, what can I do to remedy the incompatibility? 3) How do I occupy the various sectors of the house? Occupy my Kua auspicious sectors i.e. N, S, E, SE or occupy the auspicious sector of the West House (NE, SW, W, NW) which will be my inauspicious sectors? Appreciate your reply as this has been a headache for my family almost a year. Thanks Anon

Further to what I had mentioned, I am always sentimental to such issues because, many already face hard-ship. And does these people have the conscience to further "plunder" these poor people? Do you want to drive them into further desperation? Since it is much more easier to "push" these products to them then anyone else! Even her "15 eye Dzi bead" cannot help, you still consider a lower number of eye Dzi bead... Surely.. my toes are laughing all the way... for those buying such rubbish! Pure and simple, rubbish!

1. Please note that I have always received requests to "sponsor" or "help sell" products that you had mentioned. If you look at it, I can even make more money selling such products! DO YOU THINK I WILL DO SO? 2.For your info, this message was posted just a few days ago. The resource info and details can be found below:- Finding A Job, After Overseas Station Posted in: Discuss :: Free Advice (General Feng Shui) Posted on: Tue, 26 Aug 2008, 09:38 AM, I'm a female (born on 21st June 1983, 1328 hours, Singapore). I graduated with an overseas engineering degree with very good honours. I was even employed previously in a very big oil and gas global company for couple of months, however I found the job really unsuitable for me and eventually resigned. Since then, it's been a long 10 months I have been looking for another job. I have been to many interviews, but no good news came at all. I have bought several amulets for career uses, (15 eye Dzi bead, citrine crystal, dragon tortoise, pagoda). I also read thruough fengshui books to rearrange the North sector of my living room water elements). I have exhausted all my savings and I hope to find a good job asap to ease my career and money problems. I'm really at my wits' end. Pls kindly advise. Thank you. I really appreciate it.

1. Products are ALL modern invention. 2. And some people get some Feng Shui practitioners to "endorse" such products. 3. Try to read thru some of the past forum messages to understand "how useful these - useless products are!":- http://www.geomancy.net/wiki/Commercial_Products 4. Many people are already burdened in debt and are asked them to buy such products? 5. In my opinion, most of these products are manufactured cheaply and sold at very high mark-ups (in the name of Feng Shui). 6. Always ask the seller for a guarantee that after buying them, one will yield riches. Will the seller do so? Once sold, it starts collecting dust! In the home! 7. My parents time, my grand parents and great parents time don't have such "rubbish" products! And many billions of homes don't have them. 8. Those buying the products are really silly, guillible or simply just having too much money to throw away! 9. The rich get richer because:- http://www.geomancy.net/wiki/Main_Page#Why_is_it_that_the_Rich_gets_Richer.2C_and_the_Poor.3F 10. I am personally not fooled by all these people ! And certainly don't have the stomach to cheat others selling them!

1. In Feng Shui, there are "fixed" formulas e.g. Eight House and Flying Star Feng Shui. 2. But, in the realm of numerology, there are so many varied methods and interpretations. For example, phoentic sound-like to many is equally important. Cantonese Chinese don't like "4" or "44" etc... 3. And one method is converting your 780 into Chinese characters and counting the stokes etc.. Thus, since there is so vastly different methods of numerology i.e. the Chinese have many methods, the Indians have their numerology.. so where or how do you interpret 780? Since there is a right or wrong thus any interpretation usually gives a 50 percent chance!

1. Please refer to the private email Robert had sent you. 2. In his e-mail, he mentioned that "Business Name Analysis is only possible to be analysed if it is soley a Chinese Business Name. This is because there is only a chinese analysis just as in the Chinese Name service. However, there is really no English or non-Chineseanalysis that can be converted due to the difference in the Chinese/English languages. In either case, we currently do not offer this service to avoid confusion as the scope of service is only limited to the Chinese Business Name which also not commonly used even in Singapore. Thank you for your interest in our services." 3.1 Also, in my earlier reply thread, I mentioned that there is no precedence say in an English speaking country to select a Chinese business name, as one will still utimately be using the registered name in English. 3.2 Thus if your company is say " Far East Containers "; and you are not using the "chosen" Mandarin name, then the Chinese business name may be irrelevant. 3.3 Unless, you select a Chinese business name and use mandarin be it Traditional or Big 5 characters or even Pin Yin. Thus if the name is " Fu Lu Shou ". And if your business is non-Chinese, then it is not a good "brand name to use"

Today:- Raymond Xavier (Devil's Advocate): "Young man, what is your reason for a request to transfer to Heaven?" Young man: "I searched the web, and found that I am a weak water person. You know, so much fire in hell, is detrimental to my being a weak water person. Is this reason good enough, Sir?" Raymond Xavier : "Good reason! Transfer him to Heaven! NEXT, please!"
-
A conversation between Angels (GOD) and persons arriving at the Heavenly gate:- Angel: "Mr Raymond Xavier, I understand that you are a weak Fire person?" Raymond Xavier: " Yes, indeed! I did an internet search and found that I am a weak Fire person!" Raymond Xavier: "What you have planned for me?" Angel: "Please hold on.. I am arranging for your next trip!" Raymond Xavier: "Wow! A holiday?" Angel: "Something like that!" Angel: "Since you are a weak Fire person, I have permanently, found the most suitable place for you to live: IN HELL! Why? Lots of FIRE! You need FIRE! Thats FINAL!" The last we heard... Raymond Xavier is seating comfortably next to the DEVIL! in HELL!

1. In this layout, there are many ways of placing the bed. 2. But following the user's question, this attachment is merely an illustration showing that if ONE REALLY needs to place a bed (or bed-head) sharing the same wall as a Toilet-bowl (WC) then this method is a "better" choice then sleeping with body parallel to the toilet-bowl wall.

1. The Five Elements Concept:- Under the Productive sequence of theFive Elements concept, if a person is a weak earth person, then, his best elements (or also colours) are:- Fire (Red, pink or purple) Earth (Yellow, cream or beige). The idea, here is that if a person is weak, we try to nurture or bring that person to "better health". Thus if one is weak earth, fire for example burns e.g. say wood and this turn into ashes (a kind of earth). While adding earth is like adding earth to earth. 2. Under the productive cycle of the Five elements concept, it is always considered more productive for this weak earth person to "utilise" Fire (first). While adding "earth" to earth is acceptable, it comes second to Fire element. 3. Thus, it is not wrong for you to conclude that perhaps, earth careers or earth colours are considered favourable to that person. 4. The Flying Star Feng Shui 4.1 The common denominator of the Flying Star and the use of the five elements in ba zi is the Five Elements concept. 4.2 Under the Flying Star Feng Shui, #5 and #2, yes is considered as the earth element. While #5 = big or strong earth. And #2 weak earth. 4.3 Many Feng Shui practitioners recommend to their clients to avoid BRIGHT YELLOW colours in a bedroom that has #5. And in some bedrooms that have a combination of #5 with #2 and or #9; the advise is to avoid both Bright Yellow and Bright RED (#9 fire fuels #5). If the advise is not followed, constant sickness may arise. 4.4 Under Para 4.3, even if you are a "weak earth " person, and since your best colours are: Yellow and Red, it does not mean that being a weak earth person, you should discount the advice under Para 4.3! #5 and #2 has no distinction between a weak earth person or a person with other elements e.g. weak water, strong earth etc...

This is another sample illustration. (See attachment) The illustration shows that it is considered inauspicious to place the bed parallel to the wall with the Toilet-bowl.
-
This illustration shows that it is very inauspicious to sleep NEXT to wall that has a toilet-bowl directly opposite the bed / close to our "head" position i.e. may have higher probability of contracting cancer.
-
1. In Germany, many years back, there was a study of incidence of cancer in villages. 2. As all the homes are "landed properties", it was found that whenever asewerage pipe happens to run below(or underneath) a bed, the person sleeping on that bed has a higher incidence of cancer. 3. More importantly if one sleeps "side-ways" with the bed next todirectly opposite wall with the WC,the concern is the WC pipe. Sharing a wall with theWC pipe may bring us with the same concern of the sewerage pipe, being too close to our "body". Thus the concern ofdeveloping cancer. John T. wrote: I have read that is bad to have a toilet behind your bedhead. For my case, i have no choice but to position it this way. Need advice, pls help, thanks.

1. The test to see if the tree is a threat or not is: " To stand inside the main door of the home" and look outwards (directly). If there is say a tree trunk facing the main door, it implies that this tree trunk is like a "knife" slicing thru or towards the main door. 2. In Feng Shui, this is considered as an external threat. Sometimes if the tree or evenobjects like a lamp post does not directly slice the main door, then stand inside the home look out of say any other openings such a window. A tree trunk that slices towards the window is equally a threat. 3. The main door is symbolic of the "mouth of the house". And a simple object like a tree trunk "slicing" thru is a threat and may cause issues. 4. Please see attachment illustration. 5. Usually to cause problems or issues within a home, there are often more than just this "leak" mentioned under Para 3 and 4. (The leak refers to wealth and/or health issues etc...) Anonymous wrote: Dear Master Lee, I am just new with Feng Shui and do not know much except that a friend told me that a tree in front of our house is bad. I do not know what this "bad" means except that for the past several years, we are financially down and no matter what we do, it seems like we are not getting anywhere. This year, we could see and feel like opportunities are just all around us but it does not seem to get through to us in spite of all our efforts. Someone told me to put a mirror in front of our window facing the tree. I did just that but I do not know if it is the right thing to do. Please help and enlighten me as I do not know what else to do. Thanks a lot.

1. Frankly, unfortunately these are : typically Bullsit! 2. These are modern invention(s). Out to capture or trick us into departing with our hard -earned money! 3. Please ask the Feng Shui master selling it to give a guarantee that after buying it... whatever is stated comes true! 4. In fact, these "masters" becomes so cheap to ever dream of "cheating many" with such claims! These are the lowest class people, ever! These people always think of a fairy tale story to entice us to buy them. 5. Such commercial products only line up the sellers pocket at very high mark-ups! "Manufactured cheaply.. but sold as a bomb". Better save your hard earned money or even use it for better purpose i.e. charity begins at home.. use the money on your children or family... much better. Then handing to these crooks!. 6. In the past, there are no such products! Only the gullible get conned into buying such products! Hahahahha!!! Anonymous wrote: Hi, I'm new to this forum. I'm quite interested in TibetanBeads. There are many Feng Shui masters selling TibetanBead for the use of Feng Shui. I was approached by one. Can someone give me a good advice? Thanks, Dang

1. For the Chinese (we believe) in three kinds of luck:- Heaven luck - what we are suppose to be born with Earth luck - Feng Shui of home and/office Human or man luck - Family relationship, bonding ... 2. What you mention has more to do with Numerology. Frankly, there are at least more than 10 or more different ways humans calculate what is auspicious or inauspicious. The Chinese have various methods, other races also have different methods of calcuating. Thus, some may feel that 168 is good, some may feel that is a rotten or bad number. 3. Therefore, what I feel is that a number can mean so different thing or responses from many parties to invalidate one method from the other. It is like some people feel very lucky with no. 13 while some avoid it like the plague. Some Singaporeans even love double "44's". Years back a neighour had car plate SK 44 and house number with 44 in it. So how do we consider 168 lucky or unlucky? Some even add 1 + 6 + 8 etc...
