And also Tam Posted 15 hours ago Dear Shifu, I'm considering Garden Vines project 5R Block 237A unit 388 because of unblock view. The unit main door and kitchen area expected afternoon West Sun. Seems like the staircase wall and building wall will help to reduce heat from direct sun. I would like to seek your professional advice. Thank you in advance.

Extract of Case Study 15B: Plight of residents of HDB Yuhua BTO which was installed also with the Pneumatic Waste Collection System (PWCS). 1. As expected. It takes just one or two inconsiderate residents to make a mess of this system... 2. Imagine 4 years and more of tolerance.... Source and Credit as shown in the two snapshot:- Extracts from the above article: 3. Persistent odour 3.1. Foul smell exuding from the centralised bin centre at Blk 223A of Jurong East Street 21 has been a persistent problem in Yuhua since the PWCS started. 3.2. According to a recent report from the Chinese evening newspaper Lianhe Wanbao, residents have been bearing with the smelly environment for the past four years. 3.3. Some residents also revealed that some people throw bulky items such as large soft toys, cardboards and mattresses, which choke up the pipe network. 3.4. This worsens the foul smell in the area and the cleaners will have to manually take the items out. 3.5. The adoption of technology is laudable, but the success of this new system also depends on the users to be mindful of what they disposed of. Reference link:-

1. Previously ranked #429 as 6th choice. While #271 as a Last Resort. 2. I have preserved the Legends that go with these two stacks. 3. Please note that in this example, client had specially asked that their Can or Cannot Buy review be tailored to Period 9. As they are planning only to move-in on or during Period 9. (This is prior to the poor handling of COVID-19 in Singapore = construction industry.) Which means that it is possible for a slowdown- delay for this development. This plausible that key collection can be in Period 9.) 4. Actually, there is a THIRD Stigma for both the stacks/units that you are looking at. That of a long corridor. Reference: Under the above resource: Case Study 5: Potential Sha Qi from a "long corridor" towards a unit's main entrance door 5. Many first time buyers; often who had stayed in an afternoon sun home would seriously think about avoiding such a home in their next purchase. This would account also for why often I always add a Legend such as an "A" or "B" and rank these stacks/units lower. 6. If one checks one of the past postings, another existing HDB development which had a PWCS.. there were many complaints about the smells / stench...for the last four (4) years! 6.2. Thus #271 is along the wind-path even if it is not in sight of the PWCS. Good luck if this estate also has inconsiderate residents like that of an existing HDB Yuhua BTO. 6.3. See the next Thread which I had extracted this posting:- 6.4. Extract of Case Study 15B: Plight of residents of HDB Yuhua BTO which was installed also with the Pneumatic Waste Collection System (PWCS). 7. Personally, based on my own personal preference, I will always avoid staying in an afternoon sun home. What is worse is if there is a "forever" stench! 8. To me, afternoon sun house is like the deep blue sea. While the home that is near to a PWCS is like the devil. 9. Thus if no choice, would rather choose the deep blue sea than the devil.. LOL Unless both the devil and the deep blue sea also kena the stench... FAINT! 10. Frankly, if it’s me, I will steer clear of any HDB/EC/condo that has a PWCS. Why? It ain’t compulsory, yet. Given that unfortunately... our society is still not “up” there... No amount of warning notices can make a PWCS working well 24/7 364/5 days a year! 10.1. Imagine if this estate for the wrong reasons share the same issues with HDB Yuhua BTO. Even if one.’s unit is not directly affected by the stench... the bad publicity may translate to poor resale value or Low ball offers. (Maybe the close proximity of the MRT can help tilt this balance?)

Frankly this is subject to individual interpretation. In my opinion, as far as this plot is concerned, there is no impact FROM an arrow. The closest to a child's arrow is the service road of HDB Casa Clementi. The red arrow shows this HDB's service road. And frankly, it is not a threat. It would be different if this road was an Expressway or a major Singapore road. But it is not even aimed towards Clavon land but towards HDB Clementi Peak's fringe Block 465A. Not even considered a real threat.

1. Please check out this recent posting:- 1.1. Especially the illustrations on why a more squarish and not too narrow retangular home is preferred. 2. In Singapore, not that many but there are still some which ALMOST cover the eight sectors. However for landed properties.. it is more common, here. 3. This is one example of a boutique condo / private apartment which as one can see close to a near rectangle:-
-
1. Under the Water classics, marking x is less auspicious than y. 2. The home you mentioned as shown by the yellow pin is generally acceptable under the Water classics. 3. Although the link below, is mostly on high rise, there are still several references to landed property:- 4. In Feng Shui, most likely some Feng Shui Masters (FSMs) who still consider the main entrance as the FRONTAGE = marking in yellow B. (Facing West and sitting East with water behind the house). Thus, these diehards will therefore say that because of this, it is bad to have water at the rear of the house. 5. While another group of FSMs will try to find out and if say e.g. living room and open areas are at A area (Roughly facing East sitting West, then there is a high possibility that A = FRONTAGE of the house. If so, it is good to have water at the front of the house. 6. This is the rationale for why some FSMs say inauspicious, others say favourable. 7. Another aspect is the Flying Stars at A.

1. Thanks for the photo. 2. Ba Gua WITH a mirror in the middle of it: 2.1. Usually either flat, concave and/or convex. 2.2. Flat mirrors are more for "protection". With the idea that bad spirits coming towards the house see their own image and get scared away. 2.3. If a Ba gua mirror has a convex mirror; often this is used when the house or unit faces a T-junction or an open stairs or a corner aimed towards the main door. 2.4. A Ba gua mirror with a concave mirror, is often used by a neighbour to counter another neigbhour whoe has a ba gua with a convex mirror facing that unit. 3. The photo shown seems to be just a ba gua WITHOUT any mirror. Assuming that you took the photo inside your unit looking out. Or even better if the mirror is inside the neighbour's house and their grille gate is opened. 4. Whatever it is this mirror is meant for their own "protection" from bad spirits. 5. Thus really no threat to your house. 6. Look, here. It is similar to Malays hanging a Isamic verse panel. Or Hindus hanging their god above their door. Or a Catholic or Christian hanging their specific version of a religious cross on their door. 7. Thus frankly, one does not need to counter it with offensive weapons like a scissors or other things to counter it. 8. Furthermore, without any justification, hanging a scissor on one's main door is a double edged sword. 9. Hope this helps.

Wilshire Residences (Formerly The Wilshire)

Case Study: 1 Bedroom Type A / Type A (Penthouse) & Common sense of Main Door placement 1. Under Habit No. 5: Common sense Feng Shui, the main entrance door is not optimum. 2. Furthermore, poor Shapes and Forms given that the main door swings towards the kitchen sink = Poor after thought. 2.1. This gives me the impression that the Interior Designer (so named under 1st Thread) most likely thought this design out on a TGIF day. And perhaps at 6 pm. Before leaving work for a long weekend. LOL. 3. Furthermore, under Symbolism and above Habit No. 10 in Feng Shui, it is preferred that the bedroom door swings inwards. And not the use of a sliding door. 3.1. But because of poor layout design, can understand why there is a need to use sliding doors ... here. 3.2. To me, it felt that the Interior Designer or the Architect left Japan in a hurry or rather missed his/her holidays in traditional Japanese hotel so bad that unconsciously added sliding doors.. LOL... 3.3. The rest is they say.. HIStory... Michael Jackson.. where are you now! 4. Furthermore, how come such a huge air-con ledge. And tiny weeny puny shower cubicle? Not just 1 bedroom but for the rest? 4.1. Blame my husband. He is so bloody fat! 4.2. He is unable to scrub his body properly.... in our Wilshire Residences (WR)Toilet... 5. My wife just left me.. and served me the divorce papers! 5. In our previous home, my ex-wife used to come into the shower and scrub my back... then we were still in intimate terms... sadly not now... 6. Boss: "What is that smell? It smells so horrible! IT STINKS!" WR Resident cum Staff : "It's me Sir!" Boss: "JON, You are FIRED!" Yes, I am none other than Donald Trump! The Bunker boy! WR Resident cum Staff : "Pity me Sir! I am into the mortgage trap! Cannot afford being retrenched. Already demoted from a larger home to this... and now! Can I kneel down to kow-tow you, Sir!" 6.1. TO BE FAIR,MANY NEW DEVELOPMENT ALSO SHARES SIMILAR TINY SHOWER CUBICLES. 6.2. This blame it on my personal preference. As this is one of the several priorities if I do ever buy such a home. 6.3. Share with you: my mum’s personal preferences are: a.) bin chute must be inside the actual unit. b.) She always asks: allowance for the ratio of 1 unit to 1 car park? If these two conditions are not met; she would just take a seat. And can’t wait for me to exit the show flat as in ASAP! Pronto! 7. A plus is that if I should get retrenched... the air-con ledge, one can even rear chickens and still have space for the air-con compressors.. LOL Ok.. I get it.. the air-con ledge also counts as per square foot of the floor size. Another money maker spare-tire area. -
Wilshire Residences (Formerly The Wilshire)

A. Part 1: You wrote: "What is the facing of this L-shaped building ?" 1. For the Subsidary Proprietors or Occupiers of a unit at Wilshire Residences, it is based on this:- 2. For example, the side of the UNIT that has the most Yang Qi (be it an opening or sun-light). 2.1. For 1 Bedroom Type A / Type A (PH): The most Yang Qi are the surface area of the windows of the Master bedroom and balcony sliding door panels side. 2.2. For 2 Bedrooms Type B / Type B (PH): The most Yang Qi are at the side of the Master bedroom, Bedroom 2 and living room Balcony sliding panels and the living room windows. 3. Thus, for instance reading(s) should be taken from the direction of A towards B. 4. Contrary to popular belief, as mentioned in the above link, for high-rise buildings, the consensus of many Feng Shui Masters is NOT standing inside the main door looking out of it. B. Part 2: You wrote: "This is an L-shaped building. Any concerns regarding this ? " 5. In my opinion, as Wilshire Residences is further in-land. And the wind forces / high-low pressures are not as "strong" as say in the East coast of Singapore; 6. In additional one it is an L instead of an elongated L or V, lesser of a concern, here. 7. On occassions only if there is strong winds particularly blowing towards zone Z, it is a matter of simply closing or controlling the wind. Given that there is a row of windows at the master bedroom means that many don't often leave this window open. 8. Thus, I would say, this is not perfect but can easily be controlled by closing or moderating the wind flow. At the living room / balcony area. .. this can still be controlled. 9. Fortunately, Wilshire Residences is not close to the South of Singapore, where the land meets the Natuna Sea. 9.1. Here, due to the daily high and low pressure zones between the sea and the land, it can be truly windy daily. 9.2. Furthermore, unfortunately, for Duo Office Tower, the concave side is within this high-low pressure zone. 9.3. In fact, soon after several offices moved-in, there were calls for Feng Shui reviews even by a certain Credit Card issuer.. (Health concerns... first and foremost and even $$$) LOL.. https://www.geomancy.net/forums/topic/17686-case-study-duo-office-tower-external-sha-qi-health-considerations/ -
I did an internet search and came across this... https://www.nirvanacolumbarium.sg/ancestral-tablets-singapore-malaysia/ Frankly, as mentioned above, it is a random search. Perhaps you can do more searches to locate more..

Sorry to learn about your dad’s demise. Those I knew had permanently closed shop due to their passing. And no one took over their business. So sorry. Usually do check with the funeral parlour or Temples for leads.

Frankly, there are so many different types of Bagua mirrors. No attachment, how to comment. Anyway, the earlier (above) write-up is already available.
