  1. OIC, it is just a gentle slope. Has more to do with common sense: someone may accidentally trip, there. Thus not a main Feng Shui issue. Perhaps if the main door does not open outwards or even if so, a floor mat may be used there. Colour of the mat depends on ....
  2. Usually, this is assessed via Feng Shui. However, if two doors are close-by; often permanently close one door. Can’t tell clearly based on this sketch alone. But if one may be concerned with a “down-slope”.

  6. Under the Eight Mansions or 4 good/4 bad directions; the stove should preferably face the lady of the house’s one of her 4 best directions. How to determine stove facing direction? Is it true that the stove facing direction is where the person stands in-front of the stove use the stove? No, this is false Why did do you need to do so? This is based on the Eight Mansions concept In the past, old stoves have an opening to place firewood or charcoal If so, this is considered as the mouth ? of the stove. Wherever this mouth faces is considered as the stove’s facing direction In modern times, stoves are literally table TOP stoves. This includes electric & induction stoves Here, the opposite direction where one stands facing a stove is considered as the stove’s facing direction For example if right now I am standing facing EAST. The stove is considered as facing WEST direction.

  13. Question: Can I use this type of Fa Gao? Yes, you are able to use this variety. However, refrain from using the white ones unless the top has a red dye dot in it. If it does, then it is acceptable to use. Kindly note that the item was bought from a Swee Heng [Confectionery] branch in the past. In the year 2024, they were recently available for purchase at Swee Heng Bendemeer, situated next to the Bendemeer MRT station.
