  1. On my way to an audit at Lorong Ah Soo, Hougang. These three persons were folding gold ingots: Nowadays, most other persons would literally have no time to fold these papers individually into gold ingots as shown above. They would just burnt stacks and stacks of the unfolded gold papers
  2. Loong Fatt Tau Sar Piah At 639 Balestier Road Not many of these traditional treats left.. Penang in Malaysia has a few such stores left.. The best way is to market and package these products and offer as a wholesale company...
  3. On 20 September 2017 Thomson 800 and recent photos
  4. Blk 163 Toa Payoh Lorong 1 motif: angled squares
  5. More photos: 2017 7th Month, at 127 Toa Payoh Lorong 1
  6. Visited a client at the recently T.O.P. development called Toa Payoh Crest at Toa Payoh Lorong 1. And this is the last weekend of thet few days of Chinese 7th month in 2017. What is interesting is that this Chinese 7th month festivities located at an open space next to Block 127 Toa Payoh Lorong 1 market is an older estate. Thus, it is no surprise to find a traditional style Opera stage:- Perhaps by the next 15 years or more; there will no longer have such stage performers or audiences that can appreciate this type of performance. As there simply may no longer have a market for this. Instead, one would end up getting those young pretty Getai singers. What a pity! Elaborate seat covers: This is common. A bidding point where people pay the highest price for various auctioned items:-
  7. The layout is just a 2D view. As there is still a service road between this huge junction + there is also a canal + railings.. better than it is exposed directly to the junction. The test is that even a solid car or even truck has no means to fly into the home. This test alone makes it pretty safe. Again, if you get an utra conservative geomancer's advice... then...
  8. In my opinion, under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, even if it is not an exact T-shaped junction: A. The entire frontage is exposed to the "slanted-T-junction" = Sha qi B. The sketch may be misleading.. but what is stopping a vehicle plowing in a straight line towards the gate of house 1. Although the drain with railings does help.
  9. The most generous thing about this development is the huge over-hanging RC roofs. Reminds one of the vague resemblence to Marina Bay Sand. This implies that one might still get natural ventilation by opening certain windows for many units closer to the roof-line.
  10. The one and only approved design. Or literally... one size fits all... prison style but robust design... Ugly but functional.. This Photo shows a neighbour with the auspicious "Ang Cai" red banner..
  11. Part 3: Getting ready the Parc Botannia's show room...along Sengkang West Way
  12. Part 2B - Photos (taken on 16 September 2017) of Parc Botannia's nearby neighbour condo High Park Residences ... continued
  13. Part 2A - Photos of the site taken on 16 September 2017 This morning 16 September 2017; before my first appointment at the near-by Bellewaters EC, drop-by Parc Botannia.. Looks like the main con: Ben Hur; oops! sorry I mean Wee Hur had started the levelling and bringing in the piles.. The main con proudly displays it's name prominently above the entrance gate and it's company logo at the temporary site office.. They had to build retaining walls on either side of the plot The land slopes towards the LRT track. Looks like it has to be levelled.. The site office:
  14. Part 1A - Resources on Parc Botannia @ Fernvale Road by Wee Hur Holdings and Sing Holdings LTD On a virgin (Low hill) land in Jalan Kayu/Seletar & fringe of Sengkang West. It will have to be completely levelled to make way for this development. Fortunately there is a buffer between it and the TPE expressway. Good thing if considering a unit facing Northerly direction or the Seaview.. This plot of land:- Both established brands in SGP. Waiting for the site plan and floor plans: before reviewing this project... TOP 2021. (Expected is 3rd or 4th quarter 2010) Source and credit: their main website ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Part 1B: Reference Resource Bank - Parc Botannia Main Brochure with sitemap ebrochure ParcBotannia Main Brochure with Site plan only.pdf
  15. At Blk 649 Hougang Avenue 8: Some of us no longer have unobstructed views of Yio Chu Kang Road! One resident commented, “Your gain is our loss.” Well, at least we can still enjoy the view of the amphitheater. Perhaps, in this case, there won’t be any impact on our resale value after all.
  16. Vehicles on watch... Can only find this from the year 2012 onwards...
  17. Went to the opposite HDB block 50x block of flats ... Main con: Straits Construction Current photos; taken today...the 2nd working day of Madam President...
  18. Yes, in 2012; I went to the Punggol Watertown showroom. At that time over-priced for 99 leasehold flats and then the government clamp down thereafter.
  19. Nearby.. Tibetian temple: Thekchen choling and the Whitley Road fish ball noodle stall at a Foch Road Shophouse/Hotel 81 fragrance. And another assorted roasted meat stall:
  20. Recent photos of the exterior of Arc 380. Almost there...
  21. Futher downstream from Thomson Road.. is the Ascent @ 456, Public Mansions and Giffard Mansions: Middle of photo is Giffard Mansions; right of photo is Balestier Plaza: Public Mansions: Ascent @ 456:
  22. VIIO @ Balestier Road's thin profile with it's "base" sits exactly the North-South alignment of Balestier Road. Stacks 03, 04, 05 and 06 most certainly has "pool view". Not it's own pool though but that of Ramada Hotel. This pool is a blessing in disguise; as it allows unobtructed view. Other than stack 03 which looks towards the side of Ramada Hotel. Common sense says that one should avoid direct afternoon sun. With all year round afternoon sun.. there is no where to hide.. for the stacks/units facing West. E2 facing stacks: It is such a waste that the combined auspicious wealth stars are wasted at the "rear" of the house. This is usually where the kitchen and yard are. W2 facing stacks: All four stacks directly faces the Punggol Reservior which is advantages. 4.1 As the frontage of this facing has the double auspicious combinations of water wealth stars. The only drawback as mentioned earlier is also the DIRECT afternoon sun. Wealth but "cooked" or "roasted" by the afternoon sun. Thus one must really, really love Balestier area to purchase a home, here.
  23. Kallang Riverside @ 51 Kampong Bugis (Freehold condo) Units are either N1 or S1 facing. From a Shapes and Forms point of view, riverside view is always the first choice. As the forms prevail over the stars (Flying Stars). Under Flying Star Feng Shui: N1 has the auspicious double 8s at it's frontage. Good as it's frontage has a water position. Good if the master bedroom is located at NE sector. As it has good auspicious star combinations of MS#6 + WS#1. If a bedroom is located at East is good for a bedroom cum study. The rest of other sectors has inauspicious stars. And may need to be disarmed. S1 The combined auspicious wealth stars MS#8 + WS#8 are at the "rear" of the unit. Such a waste as usually this is the kitchen & yard area. It will be good if a bedroom is located at East sector: good for studies. If the main entrance is located at NE, this will be excellent as there are good combinations of MS#1 with WS#6 in this sector.
