For HDB flats like HDB Park Grove (this block has yet to receive its Temporary Occupation Permit). I have visited its sister block, and therefore I am aware that the inner walls consist of dry walls. However, observe the exterior. It is nearly impossible to determine whether the interior employs dry wall partitions. The layout plans do not provide any clarity on this matter either. The only way to ascertain this is by entering the unit and knocking on the walls.

Has it got to do with common sense? Yes, if it regards to how many legs can or should a dining table have? Generalised Feng shui originated from this common sense. This is why most geomancers felt that dining tables should have four legs. This illustration seems to suggest that if one leans at the edge of the table, will the table topple down? In normal circumstances, if a table has four legs at each corner of the edge, common sense says that no way such a table can tip or topple down. Please look at the illustration, below. If quality materials and good structural integrity is there, this table should hold it's weight:- However, there is the concern of wear and tear; plus it may have a weight limit. "Better safe than sorry applies".

Angular shapes often may look sharp or pointed. And may cause or create a Sha Qi or Poison arrow(s) For example, one look and one can visualise the sharp point at the bottom of this classic light:- The light looks like if it is hung in the middle of a balcony.. seems like a poison arrow or Sha Qi. However, although these lights are not rounded and may have sharp curves; it does not look anything like the above sharp point: Thus may seem pointy.. but looks more like a pussy cat when compared to the first illustration. Of course these rounded "bird cage" style lights are the safest .. to please the ultra-conservatives.

More like a mixed breed or pariah dog. Strangely.. one can tell if it is a mixed breed. As mixed breed's tongue is not pure pink but often have black markings.. I am perplexed by this... I wonder why? Or since Singaporeans love food so much.... better description is ROJAK! I don't care if it is Singapore or Penang or Indian rojak... though.... Was at ITE HQ ... food court : coffee only 50 cents. And this "rojak" Hor fun plate is cheap...

Comments on Sims Oasis block arrangement:- If we look at the combination of TWO condo developments e.g. The Luxurie and La Fiesta, one can also get quite a similar layout plan. Don't get me wrong. The above and what I mentioned below are totally different. Just that I was at Block 50 La Fiesta facing block 21 of The Luxurie. It is like staring at the side of a block. This is actually a sha qi. Block 21 (The Luxurie) is a sha qi towards block 50 (of La Fiesta). Others: Yishun Sapphire vs Yishun Emerald in Yishun/Canberra are also unique combinations. Where if I am in a unit at Yishun Sapphire I could see pool water.. BUT Oops! That pool does not belong to our development! It belongs to Yishun Emerald!

Yes in a way it is like a U shaped. Although this is considered as a variant of a U shape. Where the U is elongated at the middle: thus literally, speaking it can even be considered as a W. For those hopeful: W may symbolise to the W = Win , win ! Ah! Or the Mandarin character of a Mountain There are other developments in the past that are shaped in a 8. And the developers use it as a selling point. If one has the time can go thru this old thread. What is more important is a U = Horse--shoe design... A recommended read:- https://www.geomancy.net/content/feng-shui-resources/site-review/the-tropica-condominium/the-tropica-singapore More resources. What is interesting is that if one looks at a Chinese gravesite or a grave, it literally is also shaped in a symbolic horse-shoe design.

Are bunk beds no good?
Cecil Lee replied to Cecil Lee's topic in Caricatures: Laughter is good medicine & more...
An examination of the myth surrounding the apprehension that bunk beds are undesirable. Source Photo Credit: Picket and rail Please note that the lower bunk bed accommodates a queen-sized mattress, and half of this mattress does not extend beneath the upper section. As previously stated, there is no concern regarding sleeping beneath a bunk bed. However, if the room is sufficiently spacious and there are lingering fears despite my earlier comments, this presents another option. P.S. Photo used for educational purposes only.. Will remove if asked to.. support@geomancy.net -
No mentioning of the development. YELLOW represents solid walls. And red represents dry wall partitions However, in some instances, a few develoopments that I have been to e.g. The Venue.. the structural architect added just a small portion of support beam, see below. (Did one see the added YELLOW partial beam between bedrooms 3 and 4? In such a situation, it is hard to ascertain that the inner walls may be dry wall. As it looks uniform thickness. Legend: Yellow = solid concrete or brick wall or beam RED = dry wall partitions

Please check out this link:- One can observe whether it could be a solid or dry wall by taking an exterior look especially between two bedrooms: How thick is the separation "wall". Extract of the above link to have a better understand of how to know if a wall is solid or dry wall... Alternatively, some sales brochures are upfront and clearly state this. While other sales brochures generaly state that concrete/brick/dry partitions may be used. Here, sometimes dry partitions can be used at the toilet ceilings or kitchen ceilings. Thus none the wiser if the bedroom walls are solid or dry wall partitions. P.S. In my opinion, this may not be totally fool-proof.. as sometimes I encounter what looks like solid walls, but actually, it is just a portion closest to the external. and part of the inner walls (no need load bearing) use dry walls. Best to get the keys and knock knock the walls...

Agree. I am interested to find out whether TRE Residences internal walls are "solid concrete" or dry walls. Thus, not sure if this is correct.. but if TRE uses solid walls.. maybe (just maybe) it could be another reason why it is built slower or if it does not use pre-fab walls... I agree with your logic. As another factor is progress payments. In large projects, each time a certain landmark is reached, buyers must fork out an additional amount of money. Thus this can be a huge sum for a developer especially if they had taken loans. Plus they need the money to pay the main contractors. No pay.. no fast work.. A vicious cycle: Main contractor needs to be paid early.. etc.. etc.. For HDB BTOs, it is based on common sense. HDB Toa Payoh Crest because of it's height.. took close to 5 years to complete. Where usually a "standard" BTO development often T.O.P. between 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years depending on the size of the project. Majority of HDB BTO's are relatively between 500 units to 1200 max.

Sha Qi & Poison Arrows When considering a condo environment, particularly when buying units on lower floors, it is important to be mindful of potential obstructions such as tree trunks, roof-lines of club-house, and roof-lines of gazebos/pavilions/cabins/dining or entertainment pavilions. For instance, the shade in the photo could potentially create a negative energy flow, depending on its size/thickness and whether it is directed towards living room windows, balconies, or bedroom windows of a specific unit.

Some may question: Wait a moment.. if we tie in the mass of Jupiter ... this planet has a large mass always revolving right? But how come you mentioned that it is West-North-West 300 degrees? And not changes? We use this monthly chart to fine-tune case:-In fact, Flying Stars can even be plotted daily, hourly also. But this seems impractical. Or more than some can chew-on.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write such detailed and comprehensive explanation. I understand perfectly and I totally agree. Primary colors (bright red, green, blue and yellow) and pastel colors. If I choose to see bright pink as fire and pale pink as earth, that's my personal decision, but a primary color will always be considered first, acknowledging also BaZi. Yes, many authors and websites make use of people's fears and push "magical" objects to buy from them. "OMG #5 is in this sector this month. Choose to buy from our Feng Shui Supermarket a rotten tomato, an oversized rhynocerous or a frog that talks to exhaust the malicious star and bring you wealth" Never bought and don't plan to do so from these, like you said in another article, Fast Food Feng Shui.

You wrote: Also I wanted to ask about Tai Sui (Grand Duke Jupiter), San Sha (Three Killings) and Sui Po. Reply: 1. The origins of Tai Sui or that you have already given the clue here: Grand Duke of JUPITER). 2. Why called Grand Duke of Jupiter? Not Grand Duke of Mars or Saturn or Moon? 3. This is because in our solar system other than the sun, everyone will agree that Jupiter is our next largest planet. 4. This is because Jupiter has a great mass thus it's gravity can influence earth. 5. This concept has more to do with roughly where Jupiter will (OVERALL) within that specific earth year. 6. The San Sha (Three Killings) and Sui Po and Grand Duke is based on the Flying Stars especially #5 and #3 for that year...etc... 7. Where #5 is associated with Grand Duke. To be exact, every month it can also be found at different locations (But this is only for precision fine tuning). 2018 Annual Flying Stars: Resource extracted from: https://www.geomancy.net/content/feng-shui-resources/yearly-forecast/dog-2018-chinese-horoscope-feng-shui-yearly-forecast 8. The key success factor in understanding metaphyics is always question: HAS IT GOT TO DO WITH COMMON SENSE, FIRST? 9. One will be surprised that if one uses this simple doctrine.. many many things associated with Feng Shui or metaphycis has this common sense origin! 10. Frankly, I was impressed with the former Sony's founder: "Research makes the difference!". 11. "Reseach makes the difference" combined with a determination to try to fine a common sense Rationale behind this:-

"To each his own" This is how I would map the relationship between Colours to Feng Shui. In Feng Shui: Location, location, location takes up 70 percent. Others: Compass School Feng Shui etc 30%. Thus based on the above; based on a holistic approach: this is why I consider Colours are secondary. Some Feng Shui schools even consider it a myth of using Colours. But often, there is a hidden agenda. Most often, one may be asked to purchase products. But why? You don't buy paint from a geomancer. Nor does he/she earn from service rendered in painting your home. But there is a world of difference if one is to empty one's pocket to purchase highly marked up products in the name of Feng Shui. Enclosed is a simple model:-

Amenities around 100 Palms Residences Hougang 1 (formerly Hougang Point) besides Hougang Mall prior to the development was the two nearest shopping centres. They together with Seletar market (off Yio Chu Kang Road - currently Greenwich..) served residents of Hougang and the near-by Seletar (and Seletar Hills) estate. When HDB Hougang Crimson T.O.P. two years ago.. I was expecting to go for a quick lunch at Hougang 1. But was surprised to find the entire ground level of Ci Yuan Community Club (CC) converted into a Hawker centre. With the front retaining the Peoples Association office. There is one avenue for those who do not cook to take a leisurely walk towards this hawker centre as an alternative instead of dining at Hougang 1. Below .. with some photos of Ci Yuan Hawker Centre.. and payment via machine system... in the name of productivity...

Q1. Question: Can I place an Option to purchase for unit not just in this development but also in other developments during the Chinese 7th month? 1.1 The sale or rather the balloting for this development starts exactly a month prior to the Chinese Hungry Ghost festival or 7th month. 1.2 Given that no major infrastructure is up; and for those who do belief in (or concern) of the Chinese 7th month; really have nothing to fear if one wants to book a unit in an uncompleted development. 1.3 This is based on logic. And can be argued as such: "Since there is no physical place for these hungry ghosts to get shelter, why worry about it." Q2. Question: Can I start renovations during the Chinese 7th month for a home that has T.O.P. or had been so for quite some time? 2.1 Again, this is based on logic of deduction. 2.2 The senario is that one can start renovations before the 7th month. And continue with it during the Chinese 7th month. Here, the belief is that "they" are like us. 2.3 These hungry ghosts have not "taken possession" of a home/apartment yet. 2.4 And if a place is messy, dusty and noisy.. if it the house is not fit for human consumption; how is it going to be fit for ghostly consumption also? 2.5 Assuming that these hungry ghosts had found a vacant home during 7th month. And if one were to start renovations.. when they are there.. For this reason, often, many don't want to take a chance of "angering" these ghosts.

Another consideration I often tell my client is: although I highlighted that a sector should not have BRIGHT YELLOW. But go ahead if there are three primary colours in the bedroom. In real life situations: it is not just black or white or green or yellow etc.. Go buy a colourful cartoon bed-sheet. It may have yellow, green and red or black. If one has all three primary colours.. then no need to avoid say e.g YELLOW at NW sector in my sample illustration. "Yawn"
