On a clear day and high floors; one can even get to see Indonesia's Batam island. My major grouse is that even if majority of the blocks are set-in a distance away from the busy ECP; many lower floor units will still "enjoy" the traffic noise along this highway... Anyway, this plot is the last plot at the fringe of District 15 that is virtually, next to the seaside... From Laguna Park onwards.. it is district 16. In 1975, the land where Seaside Residences situated is a small bus depot for bus service 16. Then, Victoria Junior college was not yet built. And the only visible buildings were the newly completed HUDC Laguna Park at 5000 Marine Parade Road. And it's nearest neighbour the newly minted Mandarin Gardens. This plot sits on reclaimed land. The pool side is where it will be the noisest as this is directly facing the "seaview side" and East Coast Parkway ECP highway. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, from 2024 to 2043; there is a change in Qi. However, normally two years before especially 2022 onwards, the change is more significant. Since this development on paper is expected to TOP in the year 2021 or perhaps 2020; left only 2 years of Period 8. Here, between the devil (the bin centre) and noisy ECP highway (the deep blue sea).. sadly.. the bin centre is the "first priority" to avoid first. Thus, Lower floors of Stack 01 (directly or indirectly) facing the Bin Centre should be avoided like the plague. All HDB sales brochures will clearly indicate the position of the shared common rubbish bins on every floor. In contemporary times, many newer HDB developments and private apartments may feature two types of bins: recycling and common rubbish bins. However, it appears that, thus far, all private developments have consistently failed to emphasize this aspect to their prospective buyers. One cannot entirely fault the developers, as they prefer not to draw attention to this issue, fearing it may adversely affect their sales. A brief review of several layouts reveals that there are no internal rubbish bins present. If you are concerned about having a rubbish bin adjacent to your main entrance, it is advisable to insist on obtaining this information from the Hutton's representative managing Seaside Residences before you proceed to sign any agreements. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is probable that the architect's intention was to provide most units with an excellent view, yet they overlooked the fact that not all residents will remain there; others will occupy the spaces. Alternatively, the architect may have previously designed Bose products or perhaps invented the Bose sound wave radios. Regardless, it is highly likely that the developer will always have justifications such as: "Why worry! We provide you with soundproof windows and balcony glass..." You can be sure we will need to operate the air conditioning throughout the entire year... This brings to mind The Meyerise... P.S. This plot was a secondary consideration; the original reclaimed land was intended for developments similar to HUDC Laguna Park, View, Mandarin Gardens, Marine Terrace, etc. In contrast to The Infinity at Clementi, which is a plot without an afterthought... Thus, this is merely a neglected remnant of land until now... Note: White pollution, or noise, particularly depends on the orientation of the unit and the floor level; the echo characteristics of the concave parabolic design, as well as the protrusions, such as the balcony, that reflect more noise towards, for instance, the third bedroom, etc... The only slight connection is that both involve the term "Sea." Additionally, the article below discusses the Seaview condominium. In my view, it presents an engaging read for prospective home buyers. Honestly, it is quite rare for a property to encounter such misfortune as this one has. The developer ought to have allowed it to continue operating as a hotel (previously the Seaview Hotel along with its associated supermarket).
