How to determine the direction of the house?

Hi Cecil,
So sorry to trouble you again. There is something i don't really understand and would appreciate your advice. The main door of my house is 270 degree to the west. however according to the one of the chart i saw in your site, my direction should be north since i was born at may 1972. so the question is, should my prosperity point be traced according to the main door location or to the location of my birth. Thanks for your advice.

Dear Cecil,
i am sorry, but does that means my north is the disaster point? My friend suggested putting a life paraquin (turtle) in my north direction saying that it will help to bring luck, is it true? if yes, by putting a paraquin in my north direction which turns out to be my disaster point activate the point and cause problem?

Basically, for luck, actually depends very much on what element you are. If say you are weak Wood, then having Water will bring you luck. Not necessary specific items. You can only improve your luck with elements which you are favourable to you.

Common cures normally will not work.

For problems and more, you need to know the Flying Star of the house, as the Eight House cannot tell you these influences. Eight House can only tell you if say you have a good or bad direction in a section. You cannot do much about them, all you can do is to avoid the bad directions.
