Slope / Houses on elevated ground

Dear Master Cecil:
Here in the U.S., I often see houses are built on elevated ground along both sides of a street; that is, houses are on a level that is significantly higher than the street level. Does it mean that all those houses have wealth leak problem? Your opinion on the situation is highly appreciated.
With Warm Regards,
Jen

Dear Jen,
Thanks for the information.
Yes, this is very common even locally in my country, also.
It is not necessarily true all the time that such houses will have a wealth leak.
As many of us are aware:
1. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, certain homes (based on facing direction) are said to have better qi flow then others.
Thus, in one aspect, a home with a good facing direction does matter.
2. How suitable the house is to the breadwinner. This is another consideration.
3. Quantum Leap in Feng Shui
Often, a home (on it's own) can be an average or good house. But, ulitmately, some homes can "suck wealth" from it's neighbours. Only then, can there be a quantum leap in Feng Shui.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
