Greetings, Master Lee, I understand the importance of positioning a bed in relation to bedroom door, windows and mirrors. However, a friend just commented that even though a bed is not facing a bedroom door, it is still bad fengshui if the head or foot of the bed points to the direction of the street/main gate/car port. My bed is in the middle of the house, not at the front side, which will understandably be noisy. Is my friend's comment true?

Dear Sophia, 1. Frankly, this really depends on how you define the Qi flow and what is it used under. 2. In houses, we are often talking about Qi flowing into the house. ie. your living room frontage faces East. 3. Qi or air will flow in from the West into the East? So don't you want Good Qi from East to flow into house as opposed to Bad Qi flowing in from West into your home? 4. Hi master, basically the place i'm at is costa rhu, my unit is at the bottom left of the development in the map here. http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel/travel/travel_id_1971/travel_site_65402/ so as it is left hand drive, the flow of cars nearest to my unit is from right to left, similar, as the kallang basin drains from the rivers to the sea, the flow of water should be from right to left. but then again, property is location location location as you said. so i have to weight both! thank you kindly!

Please help! Our home has a bathroom with a toilet directly over our main entrance on the 2nd floor. Our house faces south. How can I fix this? I read to use pyramids to create a false ceiling but the instructions were not very clear? Any help would be so greatly appreciated!

A client like this shoe cabinet design as it is functional. Dear Anon, More importantly, the consideration should be, for instance, either standing inside the home, such as at the main entrance or sliding doors, while looking out of the home. If one stands inside, for example, at the main entrance looking out and can see a lamp post or a tree, then this is regarded as sha qi, as it can penetrate into the home. However, if there is a solid wall (within the house) where the lamp post is located, then this is generally not considered sha qi. In my opinion, 99.99 percent of all Shapes and Forms Feng Shui can be related to "commonsense". Ranging from toilets, bedrooms etc... Thus, if it has no basis in commonsense, then most likely it is hocus pocus and not Feng Shui. One major technique of Shapes and Forms is QI. And it is very useful to use our imagination especially to see how qi moves, meander - flows.
